I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1424 19.83 Second Red Star - New Human Raceʼs Leader

After the conversation between Leng Jun and Cid Warlock was done, the two made their own decisions. Leng Jun, together with his Fire Elemental Viper King, Chuchu, planned to head to the north and fight against the Ice Elemental Wolf King for his revenge. Only Chuchu will go, and the other human Elementalist that arrived with him will be left to support Jeremy and Shiva.

Meanwhile, Zerg King Cid Warlock, who heard that the human race had headed to the south to find the Ice Elemental Penguin King, decided to go after them. Jeremy will take Leng Junʼs place and become his representative. In short, he will represent the human race in the interstellar alliance.

It was decided that the human race would accept the alliance created by the Zerg race and other races in their group.

The alliance did not lack any resources, as the Hive Star and the planets of the other alliance leaders would send them within a scheduled period. They had a big feast that night to welcome Leng Jun and the human race to the interstellar alliance.

After the feast, Leng Jun came to Jeremyʼs tent to bid his farewell. He decided to move alone as soon as possible so he could take his revenge and complete his ascension. Chuchu couldnʼt waste any more time, as he was just a mere soul. As long as he didnʼt get something to strengthen his soul, he would definitely fade in the future.

So, Leng Jun needs to help Chuchu reconstruct his physical body as soon as possible.

Jeremy and Shivaʼs tent, which is now expanded to allow at most six people to live inside,.

Jeremy and Chuchu come over to say goodbye.

Leng Jun said, ”Jeremy, I will leave the human race to your care.”

Everyone inside the tent was stunned. They couldnʼt believe that the leader Old Surge had chosen to lead the human race would suddenly pass his mantle to his younger brother.

Cen Fanyu asked, ”L-Leader, what are you talking about? Arenʼt you going to the south with us?”

”No. I need to take revenge for the deaths of my father and our other seniors. There is also that big one at the center of the world. He also must be eliminated,” said Leng Jun while rubbing the head of Chuchu, who just drank the portion given by an alliance leader to help him temporarily solidify his soul. Only for three hours is he able to touch his Chuchu.

Jeremy said, ”I donʼt accept it!”

”B-Boss…”

Actually, the others thought that Jeremy had become more suitable to become the leader of the human race. After all, after the death of their old leader, Surge, Leng Junʼs personality had changed a lot. This is especially true when he wakes up this time. It was as if his attachment to the human race had disappeared. The other three Elementalists and even Shiva are not fools.

The moment they meet the recently awakened Leng Jun, they can feel the detachment his whole aura is emitting. Though he wouldnʼt directly push you away, he would ignore you unless you approached him. It was totally unlike him when Old Surge was still alive.

For those he felt awkward with before, it was because of his fear of them hating him due to his hybrid state, but at least he still sees humans as a part of his life.

But after he had woken up, aside from Jeremy, all other humans were no different than strangers in his eyes. To Leng Jun, the one most important thing in his life is not the human race but his elemental Chuchu instead.

Leng Jun spoke, ”The human race cannot be led by someone that is not human. There is already dissatisfaction within the group. If not for you, the human race would have perished that day. Moreover, these four with you only chose to remain to protect me because of you. Without you, they would have definitely left me behind.

Jeremy, you may not be your fatherʼs adopted son like me, but you are my brother. Brother, I am no longer human. Canʼt I leave?”

Jeremy looked at Leng Junʼs expressionless face. He wanted to see other emotions within those red eyes but found nothing. Like he said, Leng Jun had truly lost all his affection with the human race except for him. Once he is gone, will his brother still protect humans? Elementals will exist unless there are no longer any elements in the world.

In short, they can live for a very long time. He didnʼt want his brother to be tied up with humans after he died. That would be unfair for him, as he had another goal in his heart. Jeremy looked at Chuchu, who is the only one capable of putting a smile on his brotherʼs face. After staring at this elemental for a while,. Jeremy suddenly lowered his head towards Chuchu.

He said, ”Chuchu, I will leave my brother in your care. Please take care of him.”

Chuchu, this Fire Elemental Viper King, was stunned for a moment before saying to the human, who lowered his head in his presence.

{I will definitely take care of AʼJun. Please donʼt worry.}

Only at this point did the other people in the room realize that Leng Jun would no longer be the leader of the human race, and instead it would be Jeremy who would take his place. Now that the representative of the human race is Jeremy, he now has the right to speak with the Zerg King and the other alliance leader.

Leng Jun said, ”The people of this camp will make their move tomorrow. They would accompany you to the south region. They will protect you all the way and help you with everything you need. What they wanted is the ashes of those mad beasts. Those who are affected by chaos energy that has burned to ashes are extremely useful. The ashes can make any kind of land fertile when mixed with this sand.

I promise to keep a quarter and the rest will be given to the alliance. This is the payment you need to give in exchange for them saving the human race.”

”I understand, brother,” Jeremy said. ”Are you going to leave as soon as possible?”

”Old grudges must be resolved as soon as possible. Also, I had made a promise to some to solve that one at the center of the world,” Leng Jun said.

Shocked, Jeremy exclaims, ”You also plan on fighting that big one at the center?! Is that even possible?”

”I will not fight against it alone. Maybe when itʼs time to fight it, you guys will be by my side then. Rest now. The Zerg King said, You will leave in the middle of the day and head to the south. Just make your preparations then. Iʼm leaving,” Leng Jun said as he was about to leave the tent.

Jeremy grabbed his wrist and said, ”Brother, donʼt die.”

”I will not die. I will rejoin your group after my business is done. The rest is up to you now,” said Leng Jun before leaving.

After Leng Jun had disappeared from the team, Jeremyʼs mood had gone sour. Even though he knew that his brotherʼs words were right and that he was leaving to take revenge for their senior, Jeremy still couldnʼt help but fear that he would also lose his only brother. It was at this time that his Fire Elemental Ferret King, Guang, had materialized before him.

{Remy, there is no need to worry about that brother of yours. He had already become an elemental king and was much more powerful than all the other elemental kings combined. I donʼt know why he didnʼt immediately ascend, but his strength is already more powerful than that of a demigod.

If there is someone who can fight him, it can only be that Elemental Emperor at the center of the world or that Zerg King who visited you from before.} Ferret King, Guang said.

Everyone who heard Guangʼs words was surprised. They didnʼt expect the Zerg King, who looks jolly and friendly, to be that powerful.

Shiva asked, ”That Zerg King, is he that powerful?”

{Any insect that can undergo evolution without dying is powerful. Moreover, that one had a weird blessing of invincibility on him. Like your brother, the Zerg King is almost a god in a mortal body.} Ferret King, Guang replied. {If you truly want to defeat that one in the center of the world, your brother and the Zerg King will be barely enough, but they can put up a good fight if they plan well.

I also can help you a lot now. I have been awakened by the Kingʼs bloodline. His turtle as well.}

The turtle Ferret King Guang mentioned is the Earth Elemental Tortoise King, who had signed a contract with Shiva. At the brink of death, their two masters had successfully awakened their kingʼs bloodline. They are now more powerful than before.

Meanwhile, at the exit of the campsite,

Leng Jun was about to leave when he bumped into Zerg King Cid Warlock, who seemed to intentionally wait for him.

”Did you come to see me off?” said Leng Jun.

Cid Warlock grins and said, ”Well, something like that. I came to give you this. I heard you lost your terminal. I had it registered in your name. You can contact us if you need something. Anyway, good luck with your fight.”

”Of course, we still have a big battle to prepare for,” said Leng Jun as he accepted the terminal, which was intentionally made fire-proof, water-proof, and shock-proof for him.

With huge purplish-red wings of fire on his back, Leng Jun finally took his leave with Chuchu. Cid Warlock watched Leng Junʼs figure get smaller in the sky and saw him heading toward the ice forest.

Cid Warlock mumbles, ”So, the Ice Elemental Wolf Kingʼs territory is within the Ice Forest. We should leave before those two fight. Having two demigods fight is not a simple event for the others.” He walks away, returning to the main tent to rest like the others.

Somewhere in the south region.

At the ruined zoo where the mysterious spring was located. The power of gluttony that took the shape of the purplish-black dragon had half of its body submerged under the misty spring. The aurora that used to linger above the zoo had greatly faded, as if the power inside the spring had been depleted. The huge figure in the spring was covered with transparent silk all over its body.

Looking at it closer, this silk is the shed skin of this huge dragon.

Its former purplish-black scaled body now has hints of white in it. It seems this figure has fully integrated the trace of absolute ice into its skin. Unlike before, where it didnʼt possess a real vessel, it now created a semi-ice body to keep itself from existing after its host had left. Just as it was about to complete its evolution, Tun Shizhe and Lord Chaos descended from the sky.

Lord Chaos covered his nose with his sleeve and looked disdainfully at the ruined area and dirty place around him. This is a former zoo, and regardless of how it was now covered in snow, one couldnʼt remove the scent of animals that lingers in the area.

”Is this place... a zoo? Are you sure that the fragment of power you left with that moral is in this place?” Lord Chaos said.

Tun Shizhe said, ”We are getting closer. For some reason, there is something different mixed in it.”

”Thatʼs because you allowed it to eat everything! It wouldnʼt be surprising if it mixed with something,” Lord Chaos retorted.

Tun Shizhe said, ”Thatʼs our nature. Itʼs impossible to change.”

As soon as they approached the area where the mysterious spring is located, they saw a dragon with mixed-colored scales of purple, black, and white. Even Tun Shizhe didnʼt expect that a fragment of his power would fully materialize in this world.

Tun Shizhe said as he showed a delighted look. ”Oh, I ate something amazing.”

”You should worry if it would still listen to you. As I can feel a connection it had with him (Hei Anjing), I can feel that this bond is a bit too powerful for you to control alone,” said Lord Chaos.

Tun Shizhe said, ”Itʼs alright. As long as itʼs useful.”
