I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1202: 18.40 First Grey Star - Beast Stampede

The scene depicting the coupleʼs love is entirely different from the situation at the first mountain, where the gates of the Somatic Town are located, where live birds are hugging at the summit of the thirteenth mountain.

All of the creatures that reside in Twelfth Mountain down to the first mountain have fled the mountain range, with the weaker creatures being trampled on the ground and the forest and scenery in each mountain nearly destroyed.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu and Doctor Sen were fully outfitted at the Somatic Town gate, which is the entrance to the Tornado Mountain Ranges, letting out everyone who descended from the ranges, but even from a distance, the scene on each mountain is chaotic. Some hunters were unaware of the situation and died in the mountains. The death toll keeps rising as more time goes by.

In Somatic Town, at the villa rented by Ye Jieye and his group...

The two cubs, who had more Yin energy in their bodies than the average person, have a lower body temperature, so when the temperature in the area is hot, it feels warm to them; it is because of this warm feeling, which makes them feel comfortable, that they fall asleep. Old Man Mu was playing with his great-grandchildren until they had fallen asleep.

Normally, these cubs would be napping in the midday when the temperature was at its highest.

Now Su Jin is seated with Ji Yoonjun on the couch, who returned to the villa with Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan. In stark contrast to his flawless white skin, the other two had bumps and bruises all over them; they had clearly been beaten, most likely by Ji Yoonjun, who had been pulled out of the house and interrogated by them.

Su Jin asked worriedly, ”AʼMing, Mo Yuhan, are you two okay?”

”Donʼt worry about them. Those are just bruises and some bumps. Just give them some boiled eggs and it will be enough for them,” Ji Yoonjun said as he started eating some leftover snacks Su Jin prepared for the cubs.

The rest of them, even inside the villa, can see the chaos that is beginning to erupt in the town; some hunters who have heard about it have already fled. As for Doctor Guang, Ye Jingxia lent him Oreo, and he now wanders the medical camp that Doctor Sen has set up at the entrance to the danger zone, treating people as a doctor.

All of a sudden, Old Mu stood up, preparing to leave. Everyone looks at him as he strolls towards the door.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said, ”Stay inside the villa. This house is protected by a barrier created by Ye Jieye. As long as you stay here and donʼt come out, you will be safe. Ji Yoonjun and Su Jin look after the children.” Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan also stood up. They wanted to help fight during the stampede of beasts from the danger zone.

Su Jin grabbed Lu Mingʼs arm and said, ”Please be careful, AʼMing!” He was quite concerned about his lover because he had never experienced such an occurrence in his previous life; nonetheless, he was somewhat relieved to see that Lu Mingʼs skill had risen significantly after consuming that God-grade chemical.

Lu Ming smiled and touched his loverʼs nose. ”Donʼt worry. I will be careful.”

”Stop flirting! You will see each other again later anyway!” Mo Yuhan complained. He was envious of their loving relationship, as the person he is interested in happens to be a lot stronger than him and Lu Ming. He had a crush on Ji Yoonjun

Not only is it made of wood, but it can also follow its target! Actually, he is the best person to be pulled to the front lines to fight against the beast stampede. His endless arrows will greatly aid in cleaning up those creatures. Who would have thought that the slender and petite Ji Yoonjun would have the strength to beat the two of them to the ground? He even looked so gentle when doing so.

They do not realize that Ji Yoonjun is now a higher existence than the helpless previous protagonist. He is indifferent to the lives and deaths of mortals; his mission is far more important than his own life; and he really will not leave this villa until the cubs depart on their own.

Senior Mu Zang, Lu Ming, and Mo Yuhan left the villa with him. The beasts that were coming down from the mountain ranges were becoming more numerous. Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu assigned some hunters to guard the gates with him; they had to work hard for the reward. Fortunately, the first waves of monsters only included ordinary and elite-ranked monsters.

With the gates in such a defense formation, the temporary kitchen used these killed ingredients to cook meals for each hunter inside.

Ever since he learned of the Beast Stampede, Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu has been hiding his face. He even went so far as to speak with his mount, which is a large, aquatic Eel Dragon. It is thanks to him that legendary-grade ingredients have never been able to descend from the core region; instead, they have all been blocked by this creature.

His mount said that a terrifying aura had just emerged from the twelfth mountain, frightening him as a god-grade beast. His Eel Dragon also dared not to investigate it directly, having seen how the mountainʼs peak was so thoroughly flattened.

For this reason, Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu deduced that Ye Jieye was the cause of this incident, as it was such a way to learn that a young man who was not even in his thirties could possess a power that could terrify even a god-grade creature like the Eel Dragon.

Doctor Sen said, ”I canʼt believe this. That boy from Old Muʼs family wasnʼt that powerful before. How come he suddenly becomes a monster that looks horrible in the eyes of god-class creatures like the Eel Dragon?”

”I think a lot of things have changed ever since he gave away his memories. Didnʼt the proud heir of Mo Xinyue also not wake up from his original body? A lot of strange things involve that young couple,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Doctor Sen asked worriedly, ”Would we be able to defend this gate with just the three of us? We donʼt even know how many God-grade creatures are hiding in those mountain ranges.”

”Grandpa Sen, isnʼt my boss and Boss Ye still there? They would at least be able to stop those guys from descending,” Doctor Guang said.

Doctor Sen said, ”Even so, itʼs too many. Thatʼs twelve mountains worth of ingredients all coming down. If you fail to stop it, Somatic Town will be trampled down.”

”Lao Mo and I should be able to handle them. At least tell the hunters to stop those who escape our control,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Heavenly Guardian Mu arrived at the main tent alone. As for Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan, they had already joined the ranks and started hunting on the front. Mi Zang overheard what Xian Wu had said.

Heavenly Guardian Mu said, ”You owe me one for this!”

”I know. I know. At least do your best, alright!?” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang retorted, ”My great-grandchildren are in the town, and my grandson and his wife are in the mountain range. Of course, I will do my best!”

”What about your grandsonʼs dragon? Has it come over with you? It would be great if it helps too,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang showed his right wrist, where a thin, small dragon was curled. Roi was napping after playing around with his little masters.

”Donʼt think about it. Iʼm sending him to look after Xiao Ye!”

”Thatʼs also good. Tell him to kill more on his way up.” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu.

RUMBLES~ RUMBLES~

Mu Zang, Xian Wu, Doctor Sen, and Doctor Guang emerged to find the first mountainʼs peak crowded and some beasts that had been hurled directly from above to the base of the mountain by monsters colliding with one another. All of a sudden, they felt the ground beneath them tremble; it appeared as though the stampede had finally reached their area.

Bam! AAHHHH!

”Dodge!!! Above your heads!”

The unexpected nature of the falling monsters has caused quite a bit of havoc on the front lines; some have fainted when a monster lands squarely in front of them, while others have dodged in time.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu commanded at such a scene. ”Be careful above your heads! Some monsters have fallen off the mountain peak. Hunt those creatures down as well. It will be counted as 0.5 points as a kill count!”

As the Heavenly Guardian, Xian even mentioned that each beast would be counted as one point, whereas normally one point can only be collected after selling 100 ordinary-grade, 50 elite-grade, 5 rare-grade, or 1 legend-grade ingredient. The surrounding hunters cheered and happily hunted the falling monsters from above their heads. To these guys, these monsters started looking like points.

These points are definitely helpful, and they can be exchanged for any resources in Hunter Hall. As long as they have enough points, they can redeem a customized weapon or armor, even God-grade ingredients. For this reason, these hunters are enthusiastic about gathering points.

With so many ingredients to be hunted before them, naturally, all hunters are eager for their reward points at the end of this disaster. However, due to this beast stampede, the point requirements were adjusted to Heavenly Guardian Xian Wuʼs request. Although they can surrender their hunted pets.

At least each ordinary-grade beast can be counted as 0.1; the elite-grade beast is converted to 0.25 each; and the rare-grade beast is 1 point each.

The first mountain is experiencing a few explosions. Heavenly Guardians Xian and Mu saw several gigantic ones descending down from the upper mountains. They resembled bears but were three times larger than humans.

Heavenly Guardian Mu said, ”The big ones are finally coming! Hahaha~” He flew up, controlled his aura, and used it for flight. Xian Wu also followed after him, leaving the things in the camp to him.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said, ”Sen, please handle the rest. We will start hunting the big ones and block the peak of the first mountain!”

”Okay. You two, be careful.” Doctor Sen left the hospital tent for Doctor Guang. He overlooked the situation at the gates at Xian Wuʼs instead.

As the situation at the gates intensified, Mo Xuejing saw that Ye Jieyeʼs body was not at normal temperature; rather, it was abnormally cold, as if he had no blood at all. Panicked, he finally peered closely at his belovedʼs face and discovered that it was bloodless.

Mo Xuejing urgently asked, ”AʼYe, whatʼs wrong with you? How come you look so pale!?”

”Donʼt worry. Itʼs just a backlash of my ability. One of them has gone out of control, and I have to sacrifice a bit of my blood essence to temporarily calm it down,” Ye Jieye explained.

Mo Xuejing frowned in worry. ”What kind of power do you need to sacrifice your blood for!?”

”Blood isnʼt what it really needs. It just needs to eat something until itʼs temporarily full,” Ye Jieye said.

”The power of gluttony? How come you have such weird abilities? Arenʼt you a fire ability user? Moreover, before you used the ice element as well? Anyway, you can explain the rest to me after we go home. You said that power of yours needed to eat something.

Can it be anything?” asked Mo Xuejing.

Ye Jieye answered honestly, ”Yes. Anything.”

”Then... let it eat some beasts or ingredients on the way. There is actually a Beast Stampede going on. You can let it eat as much as it wants,” Mo Xuejing said.

Ye Jieye frowned and thought of what he had done just now when he suddenly lost control of his ability to devour. He forgot to suppress his aura, which frightened every living thing in the area.

”Did I cause it?”

”It wasnʼt your fault. It will be okay. Can you move? Should I give you some of my qi first?” Mo Xuejing said.

Gulps~

Ye Jieye heard it and could not help but look down at his wifeʼs lips, swallowing as though he were witnessing something very tasty, but he quickly turned away, fearing he would not be able to resist at all.

Ye Jieye said, ”N-No, thatʼs too dangerous right now. I will drink some pills instead, and we will descend together.” He pulled some bottles of fasting pills to lessen his starvation state. After calming himself for a bit, they descended the mountains together.
