I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1199: 18.37 First Grey Star - I feel so cheap.

It took a moment for Mo Xuejingʼs mind to go blank, but Ye Jieyeʼs embrace was so warm that he finally smiled just for him. Mo Xuejing never thought a cold man like Ye Jieye could be so affectionate to his beloved; he only felt such strong emotions when he spent time with his children. Now that he was on the other side, Mo Xuejing was suddenly unsure of where to put his hand.

Mo Xuejing asked, ”AʼYe, let me go first. Have your memories returned?”

”Memories? You mean the one in the past. I guess those wouldnʼt return unless you return to your real body. For some unknown reason, you are using this body that was not rightfully yours. Thatʼs why I could hardly recognize you at first sight,” Ye Jieye said.

Confused, Mo Xuejing asked, ”What do you mean? This is not my real body. You called me my wife just now. Donʼt tell me. Iʼm the one who gave birth to Xiao Jing and Xiao Xia.”

”Yes, you gave birth to them. But this current body of yours is not yours; it masked your soul completely, and I can hardly recognize you. If not for your soul-binding connection to this small world, you wouldnʼt be able to enter this world like I do,” Ye Jieye said.

The God of Void attempted to explain their predicament to Mo Xuejing; however, since he was regarded as incomplete, his original memories had vanished, and everything had only come back to him when he was once again complete.

For this reason, no matter what Ye Jieye says, it just leaves him perplexed, but he is able to comprehend some of their current predicament, particularly the part about not being able to enter this world without the man in front of him.

Mo Xuejing frowned for a moment and said this while being hugged. ”Soul-Binding Connection? Unable to enter without permission of the owner? Donʼt tell me you are testing me. What do you plan to do if I wasnʼt able to enter this small world?”

Ye Jieye abruptly closes his mouth, revealing his remorse. Mo Xuejing, thinking back on what he believed had just transpired, felt enraged and shoved Ye Jieye, who was hugging him.

Mo Xuejing said, ”You always kept me at armʼs length. Iʼve always told you I will be by your side no matter what you think of me. Did you just use this test to force yourself to make a choice? It bothers me that you didnʼt give me permission to enter this place. You just held my hand. What would have happened if I wasnʼt able to enter this place?

Ye Jieye, what would you have done if I wasnʼt able to enter this place?”

This gamble itself was something done without the latterʼs permission; Mo Xuejingʼs fierce yet about-to-cry expression made Ye Jieye feel guilty at heart. Aside from his Jingʼer, he was not willing to give away his heart, so even if he felt so emotional towards Mo Xuejing, he never gave him any special attention unless necessary. Ye Jieyeʼs heart twitched with pain at this moment.

Ye Jieye mumbled, ”Iʼm sorry. Jingʼer, it will never happen again. I promise.”

”Answer my question!?” Mo Xuejing screamed.

The tremor in his soul made Ye Jieye unconsciously shiver, and he knew that he could only give his answer, ”If you failed... to enter... this place. I... I planned... to never...

meet you anymore.” These words were spoken with great difficulty, and his grip over Mo Xuejingʼs hands tightened.

After giving this honest answer, he knew he would hurt Mo Xuejingʼs feelings, but Ye Jieye knew he couldnʼt lie anymore and answered truthfully.

”But believe me, Jingʼer, you are the only person I love. I donʼt want to make...”

Ye Jieyeʼs words halted when he saw Mo Xuejingʼs tears. It continues to stroll down Mo Xuejingʼs face while he is dazed. The latter truly did not expect this answer, and it made his head blank. Each teardrop of Mo Xuejing was like a knife stabbing Ye Jieyeʼs eyes, making him unable to do anything and even not knowing what to say.

The God of Void has always been like it; when it comes to the tears of his wife, he truly does not know what he should do. Seeing him dumbfounded, Mo Xuejing cried, soundless yet so sad.

Mo Xuejing sobbed for a while, long enough for his eyes to swell, and when his sorrow gave way to serenity, he slapped Ye Jieye, who dodged the blow completely. Ye Jieye remained alongside him like a statue, unable to do anything but stare at his belovedʼs weeping face.

SLAPPED!

Mo Xuejing screamed at Ye Jieye, ”I already told you! I am willing to stand by your side even if you have clear feelings for me. You only need to treat me as a family member. I no longer vie for your love. As long as. I can stay by your side, it is enough for me!”

”Hah! So what is it? My feelings are nothing. My promise is also nothing. You already decided to leave me. Haha~ Ye Jieye, you made me feel so cheap!

Maybe for you, my love for you is really so cheap that you can throw it away anytime you want to!”

”Thatʼs not true! Jingʼer, please listen to me first,” Ye Jieye said as if he were pleading, but Mo Xuejing hardened his heart in anger.

Mo Xuejing said, ”I donʼt want to be anyoneʼs substitute!”

”You are not!” Ye Jieye exclaimed, but unfortunately, Mo Xuejing was no longer listening.

Shaking off Ye Jieyeʼs hand, he thought that his wish to leave this small world had been granted, and he was brought back to the entrance of Twelfth Mountain, where he fled in a blur, reacting so quickly that Ye Jieye could only see his small back in the distance when he emerged from the small world.

Just as Ye Jieye was about to follow him, the force of consumption in his soul became wilder than before, and he nearly lost control as an aura engulfing him could only devour all in its path.

Urgh~

”Why the hell is this happening now?! Dammit!” Ye Jieye murmured in annoyance.

His dark purple aura ate everything, leaving nothing behind as he leaped as far as he could, blowing off the entire summit of the Twelfth Mountain, for the power of devouring is so great that he can only jump to space to avoid this world being damaged.

---

Meanwhile, at the Eleventh Mountain...

Lu Ming just finished his meditation, and his power of wind and fire greatly increased thanks to the god-grade oyster mushroom he ate.

”Yes! I finally made it! With this, hunting legendary grades should be easier than before,” said Lu Ming.

As if pouring cold water over his younger brotherʼs head, Lu Shang said, ”Next, you should train how to control your elemental qi properly!”

”You also need to train your body, or you wonʼt be able to use the peak of your current strength. Everything must come into balance,” Leica said as he noticed someone coming down from the upper mountain.

Among their group, only Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing went up, but unexpectedly, only Mo Xuejing descended from the twelfth mountain.

Mo Yuhan happily ran towards his cousin when he saw him. ”Cousin! Cousin, youʼre back!” When he saw the corner of his cousinʼs icy eyes red, he knew that he must have cried a lot and immediately halted his actions.

Mo Xuejingʼs cold voice resounds in the area: ”Yuhan, letʼs return.”

”O-Okay,” Mo Yuhan stuttered when he saw how scary his cousinʼs gaze was.

Lu Ming asked, ”What happened? Where is Big Brother Ye?”

”Who the hell cares about that bastard?!” Mo Xuejing shouted before walking away. Mo Yuhan can only follow after his cousin sees how tense the atmosphere in the area has become.

Lu Ming wanted to ask more about his cousin, but Su Jin felt that things had gone wrong between Mo Xuejing and Ye Jieye.

Su Jin pulled his lover back and said, ”Letʼs leave them alone for a bit. They might have quarreled.”

Lu Ming mumbles, ”I only wanted to ask where my cousin is, though!” They can only watch the two split from their group. Never once did Mo Xuejing turn around and look. His back is firm and cold as if he didnʼt know any of them.

Not far from them, Mo Yuhan trailed behind his cousin, who turned off course and headed into the eleventh mountainʼs forest. Mo Xuejing was moving too quickly for Mo Yuhan to keep up with him, and suddenly, as if he had run out of energy, he sat down on the ground, covered his face, and began crying again, shocking Mo Yuhan.

Even the ancestor could not stop the cold-blooded, self-centered cousin he knew from before. He did not even give a damn about the clan, and he did whatever he felt like doing. Still, the way the cousin appeared at this particular moment reminded him of that scenario from the past.

---

A fragment of the past from Mo Yuhanʼs perspective...

The beautiful man lays on the bed, covered in sweat and looking pale. There are a few doctors and nurses in the room helping him give birth.

”Sir, please do your best. We can already see the rims of your babyʼs head!”

The scene, which takes place in an underground dungeon where his cousin is imprisoned for having an affair with a member of the Lu Clan, makes young Mo Yuhan shudder. The man on the bed has his attractive face contorted in agony as he moaned out while giving birth.

”Sir, a bit more. Someone help the baby!”

”I can already see the head. Sir, one last push!”

ARRGGGHHHH!!

The man on the bed screamed, followed by the sound of the baby crying.

UWUAAAAA~

”Congratulations! Sir, itʼs a real baby girl!”

”Amazing! Itʼs my first time helping a baby girl be born. The first girl in this world!”

”Iʼm so honored! So honored!!! Ahhh~ so cute!!!”

It was at this time that Anxia, the little princess, was born. She was unfortunate to be born in a dungeon, but that did not stop the man with the silver hair and silver eyes from being happy. He felt he had been blessed beyond measure when he saw his daughter arrive safely.

”Yuʼer, please send the doctors and nurses back safely.”

”Brother Jing, is it worthy to give birth to that manʼs child? You lost your right as an heir. You are even locked up in the dungeon. What about that man!? He canʼt even help you escape!” Mo Yuhan exclaimed.

”Donʼt say that. He will be coming to pick us up soon. You must help your brother escape when that time comes, okay?”

”Canʼt Yuʼer come with you?” Mo Yuhan asked as he held his cousinʼs hand while getting teary-eyed at his cousin.

”You are still young. What would Uncles do if they lost you? I canʼt bring you with me. Please understand, Yuʼer.”

”Wuwuwu~ I understand, brother. I will help brother escape,” Mo Yuhan said as he followed his cousinʼs orders and sent the doctors and nurses away.

His other playmates saw him emerge from the cell and instructed their brothers to speak to their forefathers, all the while knowing that he was being watched by someone from the clan.

---

Somewhere in the Mo Clan

The news of Mo Yuhan surreptitiously entering and exiting the dungeon to see his cousin was received with a frown by the clanʼs ancestor, Mo Xinyue. It was well known that the heir loved to spoil Mo Yuhan, who was his cousin but treated him like a younger brother despite their relationship being only a cousin.

Mo Xinyue asked, ”Is this true?”

”Yes, this old man had checked it with his own eyes. Doctors and nurses come out of the dungeon.”

A frown appeared on the ancestorʼs forehead and said, ”Go capture those doctors and nurses. If you canʼt find them, grab the parents of Mo Yuhan and call him over afterward.”

”Yes, Ancestor.”
