I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1186: 18.24 First Grey Star - Conflict between Heavenly Guardians.

Old Mu from Numen Town, Old Lu Wangle from the Lu Clan, and Old Dwarf Xian Wu from Somatic Town were among the three Heavenly Guardians who had gathered in the small clinic owned by old doctor Sen. While the younger generation was gathering in the villa, the elder generation was gathering in the clinic owned by old doctor Sen.

Old doctor Sen had no choice but to serve these unexpected visitors some of his precious tea leaves.

The hatred and dislike for each other are too obvious for anyone to intervene in. Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu was sipping his beer rather than his tea, watching Old Mu and Old Lu face each other, staring at their faces as if they wanted to kill.

Xian Wu and Doctor Sen seemed to have seen this scene several times, so now their attitude toward the conflict between their two friends is the same as watching a play.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu whispered to Doctor Sen, ”Is there no popcorn available?”

”Where the hell will I get your stupid popcorn? Donʼt you see that the cafe is closed? The children might have come to meet those kids in the villa,” Doctor Sen said.

Old Mu and Old Lu were glaring at each other, and they were ignoring the two ill-mannered melon eaters on the sidelines.

”Arrogant Bastard, what are you doing here?” Old Mu said with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

As if he were used to this crude alias, Heavenly Guardian Lu raised an eyebrow and retorted a taunt back. ”Definitely not for you, you old Lunatic.”

”Who cares why you came here? Just leave!” Old Mu said as he looked murderous when looking at the arrogant old man in front of him.

Old My was always the most irritable of the Heavenly Guardians, and his hatred for Heavenly Guardian Lu stemmed from his disappointment that the man had not done more to protect his son—letting him and his own son perish together in that fatal mission—and wished that this bastard had chosen to sacrifice his childrenʼs lives rather than this world.

Old Mu would never forget the scene where the gates of Ruins of Time were forcefully closed and his sonʼs hand reached out from the inside.

From the start to the finish, Heavenly Guardians Lu and Mu were so different from one another—Heavenly Guardian Lu is a man who would give up everything for the sake of the world, while Heavenly Guardian Mu is the kind of person who would give up everything for his family. As a result, they were never able to get along, and that incident caused their friendship to fall apart.

Lu Wangle said, ”This isnʼt your territory. You have no right to send me away.”

”Send him away!” Old Mu said as he turned his head and looked at Heavenly Guardian Xian, who was pulled into the conversation out of nowhere. He choked with a mouthful of beer and hiccupped.

HICCUP!

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said, ”I donʼt care what you two do as long as my place isnʼt destroyed. Moreover, no one knows what will happen when the gates to the Tornado Mountain Ranges open once again. Itʼs better if there are more people to help if something truly happens. Hic!”

The Tornado Mountain Ranges had been closed since Lu Ming discovered the existence of those new ingredients and the gates that led to it being closed since that day. People from the Food Gathering Association gathered information about the gates and even estimated when they would be open to the public.

They announced this news to everyone as a news feed, so everyone with a terminal received the information for when the gates would once again be opened. Every now and then, the Danger Zones would close themselves to allow the newly existing ingredient to grow enough to be considered ripe.

Old Mu stood up in rage but controlled it well enough not to make a scene. ”Stay away from my grandson and great-grandchildren. That day when you schemed against him for the sake of plotting against Mo Xinyue, he had thrown away the name of Lu and used his dadʼs name as Ye. Ever since that day, Xiao Ye and his children had nothing to do with your Lu Clan!”

”I didnʼt expect that to happen. Neither did Mo Xinyue,” Heavenly Guardian Lu mumbled. Regret cannot be ignored in the tone of his words.

Old Mu looked at him like a fool and said, ”I told you not to do that! Iʼve warned you multiple times. You didnʼt believe that the feelings between the two children were real. In the end, you guys almost end up killing them both! Scram! You heartless old bastard!” He took his leave while stomping on anger.

The other three could only watch as Old Mu takes his departure in rage, and Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle did not respond because everything that Heavenly Guardian Mu had spoken was true and he could never change.

Old dwarf Xian Wu patted the shoulder of Lu Wangle while drinking a bottle of beer in his hand. ”What happened in the past is like a festering wound in Old Muʼs heart. You shouldnʼt anger him further. Why did you come here?”

”I... I wanted to see my great-grandchildren. But seeing how Xiao Mu is acting, I guess thatʼs impossible.” Lu Wangle looked at the distant villa with a yearning gaze.

Lu Shang was the intermediary between Ye Jieye and the Lu Clan, but no one knows that the reason Ye Jieye does not live with the clan is because of his lover outside. Prior to severing from the Clan, Ye Jieye led a free life, having his own residents under his name and the clan only calling him when there was a crucial mission only he could complete.

There were very few people who knew that Ye Jieye had married his lover. Lu Shang was even one of the best men, but none of the two clans knew about it. Ye Jieye even had a baby named Jingxia during that time, and his partner was even pregnant with Anxia when the two clan ancestors found out, they were forced to dissolve their family.

Ye Jieye even asked Lu Shang to hide his son from the clan so that no one would know that Jingxia existed at that time.

The original Ye Jieye learned of his partnerʼs predicament and fled the clanʼs jail to save him and their child, only to find his loverʼs cold body waiting for him there. Ye Jieye and his partner were lacking in their own clans. The ancestor of the clan where his partner is from hated the bloodline of the Lu Clan in his womb and wanted to kill it.

His lover did his best to protect his child and even sacrificed his lifespan to speed up the growth of their baby girl.

Devastated, he wanted nothing more than to kill everyone for his life, but his little baby girlʼs cries kept him grounded, and he hesitated just in time to avoid blowing himself up and killing everyone nearby. He went insane, and nobody could ever free the little girl and his loverʼs corpse from his embrace.

On this day, Ye Jieye severed all ties to the Lu Clan and chose to follow his fatherʼs name. Although his father has no strong clan to support him, Ye Jieyeʼs father has a strong position as a Heavenly Guardian known as Mu. Ye Jieye begged the elderly man to keep an eye on his children before disappearing once more in one of the worldʼs dangerous hunting zones.

After thirty days, Ye Jieye emerges from the Aurora Glaciers with horrific injuries all over his body; frostbite nearly rendered half of his body immobile. Fortunately, Old Mu brought enough legendary ingredients to save his grandson from certain death, and he holds a closed flower bud with an ice-made petal in his embrace.

Unaware of the nature of the flower in his grandsonʼs hand, Old Mu heard his pleading for him to take him to his partnerʼs location, so the grandfather and grandson left Ye Jieyeʼs children in the town and headed to that manʼs clan.

When Old Mu and Ye Jieye arrived, that clan was in the middle of a funeral. Ye Jieye, seeing this, nearly loses his mind, proclaiming that his lover—who, like him, was from the Mo Clan—is alive and that he had a way to save him. Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue was stopped by Heavenly Guardian Mu as he left his grandson and made his way to the ice coffin in the middle of the hall.

The shocking scene left Old Mu and Old Mo speechless, and even the arrival of the other Heavenly Guardians went unnoticed by the two. Ye Jieye placed the ice lotus in his hand on the chest of his loverʼs dead body, as if finding a place to root the ice lotus rooted in that corpseʼs chest and slowly raising as if it regains its vitality.

The four Heavenly Guardians watched as Ye Jieye stabbed his heart openly, allowing the fresh blood coursing through his heart to land on the closed bud of the ice lotus. The ice twitched several times before slowly opening its petal, revealing a ruby-like pill growing at the center of the flower that Ye Jieye took and gave to his sweetheart.

The corpse on the ice coffin changes from cold and colorless to rosy and healthy as everyone watches. The heartbeat that was lost began to beat again, echoing in the silent funeral hall. Ye Jieyeʼs bloodless face was filled with happiness and he held his loverʼs hand while his face was filled with tears.

Ye Jieye mumbles, ”Even if I no longer remember who you are when I woke up again, at least you are still alive. My love for you is eternal. I just wish when you wake up that you wonʼt blame me for not remembering you at all, my love.”

After he finished speaking, he passed out. As his words implied, he slept off like the guy who was resurrected while laying in the ice coffin; the only remnants of their love are the blossoming ice lotus flower and their clasped hands.

The four Heavenly Guardians were in disbelief; this tragic scene and tragic love were the result of two of them. Old Lu and Old Mo regretted their actions immediately after the death of one of the couples; just as they were beginning to accept the death of the other, the surviving partner endured great suffering in order to bring his beloved back to life.

From that point on, this was the situation they regretted the most and would regret for the rest of their lives.

Back to reality...

When Old Mu arrived back at the villa, the younger generation was already playing Jenga with the two cubs; Ye Jieye, Mo Xuejing, Leica, and Lu Shang were playing with the two babies on the carpet while the other four, Lu Ming, Mo Yuhan, Su Jin, and Ji Yoonjun, were quietly taking in the scene and sipping their drinks.

Mo Yuhan cheered as they watched Ye Jingxia choose a piece in the wooden tower slowly trying to remove it without causing the tower to fall.

”Jingjing, do it slowly. Thatʼs right, pull it out carefully. You are doing great!” Mo Yuhan said.

Lu Ming snorted while carrying his niece on his lap.

”Hmp! Listening to your words doesnʼt sound right.”

”Hah! Itʼs your mind that is dirty!” Mo Yuhan exclaims.

Ji Yoonjun reprimands, ”Donʼt fight in front of the babies!”

”Xiaxia, do you want to eat grapes?” Su Jin said while trying to feed the little princess with peeled grapes. He had always liked children, especially cute and rare baby girls like Anxia.

Hei Anxia was the only woman born in this world of no women; the fact that a baby girl was born to him indicates how highly esteemed his parents are in society.

She is currently the only girl alive and is regarded as the most significant being; were it not for the fact that her parents are Satan and her grandparents are Heavenly Guardians, many people would have taken advantage of her or worse, had her studied.

When Old Mu went inside the villa, Ye Jingxia and Anxia all ran and crawled towards their beloved Yeye (grandpa).

”Yeye (Yehye)!”

”Oh~ my sweet darlings~ did you miss grandpa already?” Old Mu carried his beloved great grandchildren with a huge grin on his face. Showing how happy is now and his rage from before completely faded.

Ye Jieye stood up and said, ”Iʼll reheat your lunch for a bit. Play with them for a bit longer.”

The other Heavenly Guardians saw the joyful scene of Ye Jieye, Old Mu, and his kids laughing and playing inside the house; Lu Wangle in particular was unable to take his eyes off of it. If it were not for the past, he would have been able to openly join into that happy family laughing with them, and he regrets everything he did involving Jieye, his grandson.

Old Lu mumbles, ”If I had held back my hatred for the sake of my grandson would such a scene be something I shouldnʼt be watching in the distance but something Iʼm in it?”
