I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1175: 18.13 First Grey Star - Meeting again

While the main characters were playing out their own stories in the town of Somatic, there is another part of the story that is not included in this worldʼs plot in the town of Numen. In Ye Jieyeʼs little restaurant, two visitors—the two wardens who accompanied him to this world, Lu Shang and Leica—came to report to him.

In the kitchen, Ye Jieye is busy preparing some enormous pots of braised sheep pig, a large rice cooker, and another pot of tea eggs as a side dish. Ye Shang is reporting about the events that happen to the Lu Clan and the protagonists at the table counter. Leica was watching his young master and princess with the two systems in the play area for the child in the corner of the store.

Lu Shang said, ”Reporting to the Lord God, Lu Ming the youngest master of the Lu Clan had followed through the plot and appeared in the neighboring town, Somatic. He and the other characters had met but for some reason the one who took the route of the protagonist shou wasnʼt Ji Yoonjun but instead the villain, Su Jin.”

”How about Mo Xuejing? How is he doing?” Ye Jieye asked.

Lu Shang answered, ”As for Lord Mo, he stopped attending the chef assessments made by his clan as he started treating all of their dishes worse than trash. He almost killed all the chefs the last time he attended. It seems that after eating Masterʼs food, he can no longer tolerate other peopleʼs food.”

”That means he will be coming over here soon. You guys will start contacting me through your systems in the future. Also has Yun Ming found information about the Hellish Strawberry?” Ye Jieye asked.

Lu Shang said, ”We havenʼt found any information about the Hellish Strawberry yet. But it seems something happened in the Tornado Mountain Range. They said that maybe a new ingredient or a God-grade ingredient was newly born in that place.”

”Hellish Strawberries grow in places with low temperatures. The lower it is, the more possibility that it exists. That one in the Tornado Mountain Ranges must not be it but... I will think about whether to go there or not.” Ye Jieye said.

Ding! Ling~

When Lu Shang turned around, he saw the old mayor of Numen Town, but based on his recollections of his vessel, he recognized this man as a senior in a prominent position, so he rose up and bent his head. The sounds of the bells at the door were ringing as someone entered the restaurant.

Lu Shang said, ”Lu Shang of the Lu Clan greets Senior Mu.”

”Youʼre the third bratʼs eldest son ha? What are you doing here? Xiao Ye is not going to return to the Lu Clan anymore!” Old Mayor Mu exclaimed as he sat at the table beside the chair where Lu Shang was seated just now.

Not only is this man a member of Ye Jieyeʼs family, but even the Lord God approves of him, so Lu Shang can only allow himself to be reprimanded immediately. Meanwhile, Ye Jingxia and the little princess, Anxia, noticed their Grandpaʼs arrival and ran towards him with excited looks.

”[Grandfather] Yeye (Cheche)!!!” calls the two cubs.

They clung on the manʼs legs while Old Mu happily carried the two cubs on his lap.

”Aigoo~ my two pumpkins. Are you guys hungry? Letʼs ask your daddy to bring out snacks,” said Old Mu.

For the children and guests, Ye Jieye prepared an enormous fruit plate, which is extravagant because it was made entirely of rare and legendary ingredients. The Lava apples, for example, have a red pulp full of fire elements, and under Ye Jieyeʼs hands, it transformed into a cute red bunny. The grapes, on the other hand, turned into a cute round character that the two cubs adore.

Finally, there are some adorable puppy-shaped fruits in it for Ye Jingxia.

Baby Anxia said, ”Bhunny!!”

Old Mu cheerfully feeds the two cubs with fruit; he would also eat a few in the middle. This young princess exclusively eats cutely cut fruits. For this reason, most lava apples and flaming grapes were made in a way that this little princess will like.

Ye Jieye said, ”Gramps, donʼt make them full of fruits. They still need to eat rice.”

”Oh~ right. Breakfast, what did you make today to sell?” the old mayor asked.

Ye Jieye responded, ”Braised Sheep pig. Uncle Butcher delivered it this morning. There is also tea eggs, pickled vegetables and steamed potato with carrots. White rice with a bit of lemon. I will no longer use anything below rare so tell the children in the town not to overeat. Are you going to eat here?”

”Of course. I will eat here. By the way, why is this brat in the restaurant?” asked the old mayor.

Ye Jieye nonchalantly replied, ”My subordinate. He watches over the Lu Clan for me. What would that old bastard do if he learned that my abilities returned?”

Snorts!

”Hmp! Iʼm here! Would he even dare to come here!? I will beat him up then.” Old Mu said. Then this old man looked at Lu Shang and said, ”You should investigate the mountain range in the neighboring town. Check what is sprouting in there or something.

Iʼm sure your younger brother is already there.”

”I heard he went to the Tornado Mountain Ranges a few days ago. He hasnʼt returned yet? Not good. Boss, weʼre going back first.” Lu Shang as he realized that since the plot had begun those who were hiding in the shadows would definitely make their move as well.

Lu Shang and Leica said goodbye to Ye Jieye and the old mayor as they were leaving. As for the gift they were delivering, the small cakes were kept in the refrigerator for after dessert when the meal was served.

Old Mu said, ”I canʼt believe that Lu Shang is your subordinate. How did this happen?”

”He lost to me and had no other choice but to serve me. Donʼt worry about betrayal, he wouldnʼt dare do that. Gramps, bring the children to the table. Weʼre going to eat.” Ye Jieye said.

The old mayor gladly carried the children to the table, Ye Jieye trailing behind with a tray of dishes in his hands. Old Mu, who may have appeared to be an old man with white hair, was carrying Ye Jingxia and Hei Anxia in his arms. The strength of this expert, hidden beneath the surface of the world, is unmatched.

Ding~ Ling~

A second later, the doorbell rang, and they all turned to see behind the casually dressed Mo Xuejing, a beautiful silver-eyed man with long hair tied in a side braid, and the ridiculous-looking doctor with blond hair standing behind him. The group looks at the guests, and the guests look at the people inside the restaurant.

Doctor Guang scratched his cheek and said in an awkward manner, ”H-Hello?”

Prior to him speaking, the aroma of braised sheep pig filled his nostrils. It was a combination of the 5th class rare-grade Moon Anise scent, the 1st class rare-grade Clear Mountain Water, and the long stewed meat of a rare grade sheep pig. Since he was a meat eater, this scent was three times more alluring than the previous breakfast.

GROWLLSS~

There is even a hint of saliva in the corner of this doctorʼs mouth. Next to him, Mo Xuejing, who was silently studying the dishes, could not help but savor a discreet sniff of the enticing scent. Ye Jingxia and Anxia, who noticed Mo Xuejing, cheerfully leaped from their chairs, one of them running and the other crawling even faster than a turtle heading for the sea.

”Uncle (Dhada)!!!” The cubs were excited to see Mo Xuejing.

The normally cold demeanor of a young man now had his argent orbs filled with gentleness as he looked at Ye Jingxia and Anxia.

”Um. I came.” Mo Xuejing said to the two cubs who came running to welcome him.

Doctor Guang pointed to himself, ”Iʼm here too you know~”

”Ah~ itʼs the bad uncle!” Ye Jingxia said meanwhile Anxia is grabbing the Doctorʼs cheek and pulling it without hesitation.

”Ow. Ow. Ow. Sweetie~ it hurts. Let go of uncleʼs cheeks...”

The little princess, Anxia, didnʼt remove her small yet strong hands as she giggled so delightfully.

Kyaa~ hahaha~

Even as Ye Jingxia was assisting his sister, he began tugging at the evil uncleʼs golden hair, which he found quite irritating because he liked shiny objects. Not far from them, Old Mu appeared startled to see Mo Xuejing; it appeared that he recognized him, and not only that, he also cast a sidelong glance at Ye Jieye, who pretended not to see him look at him.

Old Mu asked, ”You know these two?”

”Hm. When Xiao Jing and Xiao Xia got lost in the hotel, it was him who found them and looked after the cubs until I found them. The cubs likes him a lot.” Ye Jieye said as he placed the tray on the table. After serving it, he went to Mo Xuejing and Guang. He only took Anxia and left Ye Jingxia to Mo Xuejing.

Ye Jieye said, ”You came.”

Unable to comprehend why he would always think of this man after they parted in the hotel, Mo Xuejing gazed at him with a hidden yearning. His expression was expressionless thought. Ye Jieye surprised the two guests by smiling for a brief moment, but it was short-lived as it vanished right away. Doctor Guang, who had not anticipated Ye Jieye to smile, was taken aback and could only curse.

Fuck!

This curse made him receive glares from two handsome men. With a warning in Mo Xuejingʼs voice he said, ”Donʼt curse in front of the children.”

”S-Sorry, Boss!” Doctor Guang immediately begged for mercy.

Ye Jieye ignored the annoying doctor and said, ”Letʼs go eat first. Talk after a meal.”

The two carried the cub and went back to the dish-filled table; all while, the old mayor had been slyly peering between Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing. The two targets are unconcerned, but Doctor Guang was unable to remain silent in the face of such a scenario.

”Old man, stop staring, itʼs uncomfortable.” Doctor Guang said.

Then, with a hint of force, the old mayor glares at Doctor Guang. It was at that moment that Guang experienced the terror of staring down on a massive creature, shivering and gasping for air, and only surviving because Ye Jingxia wanted to give the old man a tea egg.

”Ye~ye~ ahn~”

”Ah! Itʼs delicious Xiao Jing! Give grandpa one more.” The old mayor said while smiling and completely ignored Doctor Guang who almost died under his stares.

ʼW-What was that!? The aura of that old man... donʼt tell me an expert!? Damn!ʼ

Ye Jieye noticed what the old man did but he didnʼt say anything Doctor Guang was the one rude anyway. As for Mo Xuejing, he kicked the shin of Guang and shook his head.

He whispered, ”Apologize immediately!”

Doctor Guang is not a fool; he saw through the old manʼs seeming weakness to a great man with a strong past and strength; he has offended him recently and can only repent; he dropped his head appropriately and shown the utmost civility.

”Iʼm so sorry for my rudeness, Senior!” Doctor Guang said.

Snort!

”Donʼt bother this old man eating.” Old Mu said as he continued to play with the cubs.

Ye Jieye said, ”Go eat. You can kneel after eating.”

On the other hand, Doctor Guang can only cry louder in his heart. Why did not anyone tell him that there is a scary old man in this small town? The two cubs even pitied him and gave him an egg each after hearing these words. The old man gave him another glare, obviously jealous that his little cubs are giving the food to strangers.

Doctor Guang: (TT ^ TT) Someone save me!!! Wuwuwu~
