I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1189: 18.27 First Grey Star - Tornado Mountain Ranges

After he calmed down, Ye Jieye began preparing meals for his kids and the other members of their group, even preparing some food that they would bring on the hunt. As for what transpired in that void, he decided to set it aside for the time being, focusing instead on locating his wifeʼs incarnation and then moving on to finding the rest of her soul fragments.

Following Lu Ming and Su Jin, who were ready to ascend the mountain with Ye Jieye and the others, Mo Yuhan also made his way back to the villa. However, for some reason, Mo Yuhan was afraid to approach Ye Jieye and was even hiding behind his cousin brother; Ye Jieye ignored him as if he did not exist. Mo Xuejing scowled at Mo Yuhan at this scene, and naturally, the others noticed as well.

Lu Ming approached his elder brother and asked, ”Big Brother, what is wrong with that fool? Did he offend Big Brother Ye?”

”Something like that. Donʼt worry it isnʼt serious. Itʼs just that he wouldnʼt be able to enter brotherʼs line of sight anymore. In short, he is ignoring his very existence.” Lu Shang said.

Lu Ming gloated at Mo Yuhan and said, ”What the hell did he even do? If he isnʼt Mo Xuejingʼs cousin, Big Brother Ye would have definitely kicked away somewhere.”

”Enough of him. Have you prepared well?” Lu Shang said.

Lu Ming smiled and said, ”Of course, Big Brother.”

Ye Jingxia is still fine since he knows his parents will return, but Mo Xuejing had to soothe Hei Anxia, who had regressed to become a baby, till he wept and giggled at them finally falling asleep. Meanwhile, Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing are bidding farewell to their offspring.

Although Anxiaʼs physique was controlled by Ye Jieyeʼs Hell Flames, this did not change the fact that she was ill; after all, what parent would like their child to be ill? Mo Xuejing reluctantly handed the baby girl over to Old Mu, but he was leaving to see if that ingredient would be useful for Anxiaʼs illness.

Mo Xuejing said, ”Grandpa, Iʼll leave Xiaxia to you.”

”Donʼt worry too much, boy. I will protect them.” Old Mu said.

Meanwhile, not far from them, the father and son were having a conversation. Ye Jieye left Roi to his sonʼs side as their Protector. Mo Xuejing didnʼt know what the father and son had talked about but he heard a bit.

Ye Jieye said, ”When an enemy that wants to harm your sister and great-grandfather comes, what should Xiao Jing do?”

”Kill. Leave no one alive!” Ye Jingxia cheered.

The words ”Kill” and ”Leave no one live” left Mo Xuejing dumbfounded; he could not believe Ye Jieye was teaching his son such a thing. He looks so cute and innocent with his round eyes. It is as if the words he said were so scary that others shiver in disbelief and terror.

Mo Xuejing took Ye Jingxia from Ye Jieyeʼs arm and glared at him, ”What kind of education are you teaching!?”

”He is joking,” Ye Jieye said.

Ye Jingxia kissed Mo Xuejingʼs cheeks and said, ”Iʼm kidding. Daddy Mo. Hehehe~”

Sighed.

Mo Xuejing said, ”Okay, I believe you. If your father said something bad like that there is no need to listen.”

”Okay. I will keep them half dead!” Ye Jingxia said while smiling brightly like a little angel but his words were like whispers of devil instead

Stunned, Mo Xuejing said, ”Thatʼs not what I mean.”

Lu Shang and Leica nods their heads and commented,

”He is definitely not kidding.”

”A glowing smile and deadly words. His personality is completely inherited. It canʼt be changed.”

”Oi. Oi. Thatʼs scary. You guys donʼt think itʼs scary!?” Lu Ming screamed.

Su Jin said, ”Despite his scary words, Xiao Jing still looks like an angel. So, is he an angel or a devil?”

”He looks like a little devil to me though. A wolf in sheepʼs clothing.” Mo Yuhan said.

When he noticed his cousin glaring in his direction, he stopped talking. Mo Xuejing continued speaking with Ye Jingxia for a short while before handing him over to Old Mu. Suddenly, a light appeared in the direction of the Tornado Mountain Ranges, and nearly every hunter in the town ran towards the mountain rangeʼs gates in an attempt to outpace everyone else.

Ye Jieye and his group were calm as always. They didnʼt feel the urgency at this scene.

Old Mu said, ”Itʼs time to leave. You youngsters should get going.”

”We will be back soon.” Ye Jieye said.

With Lu Shangʼs assistance, they flew toward the mountain ranges, and as they could see the group fading in the distance, Old Mu glanced at Ji Yoonjun and Guang, who were staying at the villa as the kidsʼ nannies. Lu Shang manipulated wind elements and enveloped their entire party.

---

Many people saw their group flew. Those who were aware of the nature of Satan and the Ice Demon decided to flee, purposefully avoiding the direction from which they were coming. It was sufficient that they avoid interfering with the Gods and risk dying in the process.

Lu Shang led the party to the closest mountain base. The Tornado Mountain Ranges consisted of thirteen mountains, each with a different danger level. The first through fourth mountains are easy stages, with the majority of ingredients living there being ordinary to elite-grade ingredients.

The fifth through eighth mountains are considered the normal stage, with the majority of ingredients living there being elite or rare-grade ingredients.

The final five mountains are regarded as the final stage; only legendary-grade and rare ingredients can be found there, and the bottom of the mountains is sheer sheer sheer cliff, accessible only to Gourmet Hunters with a heart and spade ranking, and requiring them to sign a life-and-death agreement to gain entry.

Under Ye Jieyeʼs direction, Lu Shang led their group straight to the fifth mountain, avoiding the first and fourth because they were too low for them; after all, all but Su Jin are hunters of at least spade rank, and two are even of immeasurable rank; as for Lu Shang and Leica, it is absurd to think about the originalsʼ level since the wardens replaced their souls; after all, they were gods.

Lu Ming asked his brother, ”Arenʼt we going to the ninth mountain directly instead?”

”We are staying here for quite a long time—a few days if we are lucky or a few weeks if we do our best. Moreover, there arenʼt any condiments in the core region. You want to eat main course ingredients without any seasoning,” Lu Shang said.

Su Jin said, ”But we brought enough seasonings and condiments, though.”

”When hunters fight they consume calories, we donʼt know how many times we need to eat to keep ourselves fit. Moreover, you need to adjust to the changes of the air. As we go to the higher mountains, the air gets thinner. We need to get some things at this level to replace oxygen in your case,” Leica explained.

Su Jin said, ”Iʼm sorry. Itʼs because of me that we need to go here.”

”As long as you know,” Mo Yuhan said.

Lu Ming shouted at Mo Yuhan, ”Shut up.” He turned around to coax his chef. ”Donʼt listen to him. Since Big Brother Ye agreed to let you come, coming to this stage is most likely his intention.”

”We came here to find something to bait a Behemoth Carabao. The grasses at the core region are mostly dry and the Behemoth Carabao arenʼt interested in it. We need to gather some Moon Grass before going up further,” Mo Xuejing explained.

People had grown accustomed to his expressionless demeanor when speaking to others, but only when he is looking at Ye Jieye do his eyes soften. He could not entirely control his emotions and expressions, thus he could not maintain such a deadpan expression.

Su Jin asked, ”What type of ingredient is the Moon Grass?” As a chef, itʼs the first time he is hearing what moon grass is.

Lu Ming said, ”I gave you a terminal right? You can check any ingredients using the account I give you. Just type what ingredient you want to know. As long as itʼs recorded you should be able to see the data about it.”

Su Jin used the terminal on his wrist and searched for the ingredient called Moon Grass.

[Moon Grass. 5th Class, Rare Grade Fodder. The favorite food of all herbivores in existence. It grows under the blue moon and stores moon energy that is extremely delicious for beasts that like to eat grass. It had a nice fragrance of mint and sandalwood. It can be used to garnish dishes but it isnʼt edible.]

Su Jin said, ”A rare-grade ingredient?! But it can only be eaten by animals.”

”The problem isnʼt the ingredients itself but the beasts that live near it. For every strand of Moon Grass, a group of venomous Blue Grass snakes protects it,” Leica said.

Su Jin paled at the thought of seeing elite-grade Blue Grass Snakes of the 1st Class congregating around a Moon Grass; by now, anyone who was afraid of snakes would have shuddered.

Lu Ming said, ”Donʼt worry, Xiao Jin. Even if Blue Grass Snakes came in groups itʼs still only snakes. We can burn them to ashes if they dare to act. Speaking of which, we had been walking for quite a while now. How come there isnʼt even a single bug coming over us?”

”Thatʼs right, itʼs weird. Iʼve been here before. There should be lots of snakes, wolves or other beasts that live in this area. Nothing comes out and no one seems to be here.” Mo Yuhan also felt weird.

When Ye Jieye, who was leading the group, suddenly stopped walking and turned around, Lu Shang and Leica were at a loss for words. They knew why, but they could not just tell me whatever they wanted. Instead, they could only stare at Ye Jieyeʼs back. Of course, he heard what everyone behind him was saying; he just did not care.

Ye Jieye asked, ”You want to see beasts. Go take the lead. AʼMo and I will protect the rear. Shang and Leica at the sides. The three of you take the lead to the area where the Moon Grass grows.”

Lu Ming, Mo Yuhan, and Su Jin led the group this time, and after walking in for only ten minutes, three wind wolves appeared before them. The fur of these wolves was green as they bathed in wind and tornadoes to increase their strengths. The three young children were confused by Ye Jieyeʼs words, but none of them dared to go against his orders.

Arroo~ grrr! Growls~

Mo Yuhan was startled, ”Wind Wolves. These are 4th class, rare-grade ingredients. They werenʼt in sight before. How can they suddenly appear now?” He produced his whip, which at first glance appeared to be an ordinary whip but had transparent crystals linked to it in the form of a barbed wire.

Su Jin was familiar with this ingredient and said, ”Wind Wolfʼs meat is chewy and itʼs only useful for making jerkies. We have no time to dry their meat.”

”Itʼs fine. We have a space ring anyway. Letʼs just store it in there for now as an emergency ration,” Lu Ming said as he pulled a pair of daggers from his back. He stood in front of the wolves while Mo Yuhan took the back. As for Su Jin, he stepped back and went to where Lu Shang and Leica are

Regarding Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing, they appear so at ease that they even managed to disappear from the crowd for a short while, taking a few Moon Grasses ahead of everyone else. Besides, Lu Shang and Leica would be taking care of the brats anyhow, and it would be quicker for the two of them to gather enough while the brats are hunting.

Their cousins, who were expected to be at the back, had already vanished somewhere without Lu Ming and the other two noticing.
