I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1182: 18.20 First Grey Star - Lotus of Life

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu was dismayed to hear that the other Heavenly Guardian would be visiting his domain. He found it incomprehensible that those elderly bastards who do not even give a damn about their grandchildren would suddenly join in on the fun in his realm.

The old doctor said, ”I donʼt understand about the rest, but Old Mu is only here to babysit his great-grandchildren. His boy, Satan, is back after all. I heard that the boyʼs abilities had returned and it increased greatly. The only problem is that his memories havenʼt returned yet.”

”If that brat has no memories of his past, then how come he is close to that lunatic?” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu asked as he grabbed a bottle of beer in his fridge and even threw one towards Sen.

The old doctor gladly accepted the beer as he felt problematic about the future events that would unfold in this town.

”That boy is smart. He must have guessed when Old Mu approached him differently from the rest. That old man doesnʼt know how to act after all. Moreover, he is extremely overprotective. Didnʼt he beat up that annoying old man Lu when he kicked out his grandson?” Doctor Sen said.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said, ”Thatʼs different. You still havenʼt seen him go crazy like that when he heard that his son died in a hunting mission issued by Old Lu. If not because they used to be partners he would definitely kill that old bastard from the Lu Clan. Anyway, the ones at fault in the last accident are Lu Wangle and Mo Xinyue.

They just got to get the younger generation involved in their fight. Because of that they both almost lost their own children. How foolish~ burp!”

”What do you think? Would they fight?” Asked Doctor Sen.

”They arenʼt children anymore. They wouldnʼt start a fight without a catalyst. Moreover, that old relic from the Mo Clan might not come. I heard his injuries from his fight with that lunatic hasnʼt healed even now. By the way, you truly like to gossip. Where did you hear the news about that brat Satan?” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu asked.

The old doctor replied, ”Social Media. You should buy a terminal of your own, you old fool from the primitive era!”

”Tsk! That thing is useless to me. There arenʼt any signals within this Mountain Range.” Xian Wu retorted. Then he thought of the scene in which the grandfather and his grandson would clash. That would be a sight to behold. ”Either way, if they are really coming, then I need to descend from the mountain.

Quack, let me stay in your clinic.”

”I donʼt care. Do as you wish,” the old doctor said.

The two had a drinking session before deciding to descend together back to Somatic Town.

---

Meanwhile, at Numen Town...

The night before they leave for the next town. While Mo Xuejing and the cubs were already asleep, Ye Jieye and the old mayor were having a drink in the middle of the night. It seems that the old man asked Ye Jieye to join him in drinking tonight.

Ye Jieye knew that this old man wanted to say something to him. ”What did you call me for, gramps?”

”I heard you met that jerk in the Gourmet Hunter Hall,” Old Mu said.

Confused, Ye Jieye asked, ”What are you talking about?”

”Iʼm talking about your other grandfather. The one from the Lu Clan.” The old mayor said.

Ye Jieye said, ”Oh~ I think I did see an old man who looks a bit like me. Either way, he didnʼt say anything and just looked at me. I ignored him and left as soon as possible. Anyway, I donʼt remember him at all.”

”Sigh~ youʼve always been detached from people you donʼt care about. What would you do if he dared to touch your cubs?” Old Mu asked.

He was taken aback by Ye Jieyeʼs unusually icy and aloof expression this time, especially after hearing his response, which made him tremble a little. ”Kill. I wonʼt allow anyone to harm my children.”

The original Ye Jieye was filial, willing to accept any punishment his clan inflicted on him without question, but he is different and he had to protect Ye Jingxia and Hei Anxia from harm. After all, the souls of the two cubs had long since been replaced by the souls of his biological children.

However, the God of Void is not like other gods; he was raised without parents and only has a brother who is not related to him by blood. Almost all other people, aside from his wife and their kids, were strangers who could not even meet his gaze, so killing them was as natural to him as breathing. This is especially true of those who dare to harm his love and family, who can only end up dead.

The old mayor thought Ye Jieye was kidding when he said, ”Killing without any attachments,” but when he looked into that pair of obsidian eyes that seemed to be an unending abyss devoid of any trace of emotion, he realized that Ye Jieye was serious when he said, ”Killing them.” It was a declaration, not a joke, and the old mayor shuddered at the mere thought.

S-Si~gh~

Old Mu took a deep breath as if trying to calm down his heart. He pretends not to hear what Ye Jieye had said just now. He told Jieye, trying to change the topic immediately, ”We should be leaving early tomorrow. You should also take your rest.”

”Sleep well, gramps. Donʼt drink too much.”

Hmp!

”This old man doesnʼt get drunk!” Old Mu said.

”You donʼt want to smell when the cubs hug you tomorrow donʼt you?” Ye Jieye said.

Old Mu said, ”Fine. Iʼll stop now. Go to sleep.” Ye Jieye went to the second floor of the house to sleep.

The mayor of Numen Town, Old Mu was left behind on the first floor, watched the moon outside the window, and remembered Ye Jieyeʼs eyes just now. He said he would kill his other grandfather, and there were no longer any signs of family love—just emptiness and indifference even toward life and death. He truly would kill Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle if he dared to touch his children.

Old Mu mumbled, ”This is the result of your choice back then, Wangle.” He slowly closed his eyes and suddenly disappeared in thin air. The restaurant was once again empty without anything.

---

Next morning

They would travel by air since it is always better to be safe than sorry. Everyone has changed into more casual attire while still covering the majority of their skin.

Doctor Guangʼs attire has been exaggerated, giving the impression that he is going hiking with a mountaineering bag on his back and even sporting military boots like Mo Xuejing and Ye Jieye, who were actually heading up the mountain range to hunt.

Ye Jingxia and Hei Anxia are the two cubs that resemble round balls. Mo Xuejing had given the two extra layers to protect them from the cold, but Ye Jieye allowed him to do whatever he pleased—after all, this was for the benefit of his children. Old Mu is dressed in his regular clothes; to an expert, it makes no difference what he wears.

Several local residents show up to see their group depart, including the uncles from the butcher and tofu shop; the former is there to see them off, while the latter is there to get an order from Ye Jieye.

The Tofu Seller, Uncle Cao said, ”Leave the restaurant to me! No one would dare move it.”

”Thanks, Uncle Cao.” Ye Jieye said

Uncle Butcher said, ”Xiao Ye, donʼt forget to save me my part for that Behemoth Carabao. Just put it in this space ring.”

”Uncle butcher, are you not afraid I might run away with this space ring?” Ye Jieye teased.

The Uncle Butcher said, ”Nonsense! As if you are interested in a toy like. It cannot even keep something alive inside. You wouldnʼt even put such a thing in your eye. I returned it fully for this old man. Iʼll pay when you return.”

”How come no one is seeing this old man off? Donʼt you see me leaving?” The old Mayor complained.

”Please be careful on the way!”

Old Mu looks at Ye Jieye who made Roi return to his original size. Suddenly, a huge black dragon appeared in the sky and lowered its head towards Ye Jieye, his master. The butcher and the tofu seller looked at one another and bowed towards the grumpy old man. It was like the scene of his subordinates sending their lords away.

The other people of the town upon seeing also followed after the first two and bowed towards the group as they sent them off.

ROOOAAARRR~

Ye Jieye said, ”Climb up. Roi will bring us to the next town.”

”Damn, is this the snake from before? He is this big originally!!”  Doctor Guang exclaimed.

The sight of the enormous dragon startled Doctor Guang and the other residents of the town. It can be argued that Roiʼs lineage is not simple; in fact, he may be a God Level Existence in this world. However, this divine dragon is nothing more than a mount for this human named Ye Jieye.

Ye Jieye said, ”We are leaving. Roi, Go!” It was only that the black dragon flew away with the group led by his master toward the next town.

The tofu seller, Uncle Cao was stunned, ”Isnʼt that the Chaotic Dragon the young master had picked up on the Ruins of Time before? How can it grow that big?”

”It might not be a simple dragon. Looking at its size it might be a divine one. The Young Master is lucky.” The butcher said as they watched the black dragon fly in the sky.

In the Lu Clanʼs main palace...

Wearing a modern tunic, Lu Wangle was reading an ingredients book when he came across a page listing a God-grade ingredient known as the Lotus of Life. It is an incredibly rare ingredient that has the power to revive people, but its locations and requirements for capture are in a dangerous area where no one, not even the Heavenly Guardians, had dared to venture. Only one insane person was involved.

Lotus of Life

Grade: God

Location: Aurora Glaciersʼ Dead Zone

Itʼs a small lotus flower whose petals are made of ice. The flower itself is useless unless it blooms. The way to bloom this flower is special and was deemed a secret. The flower core in its center is made of ruby colored like a pill. It has the color of the blood and itʼs said this core is capable of bringing someone back to life.

It was at this moment that someone from the Lu Clan came running to make a report to the Ancestor of the Lu Clan.

Lu Wangle mumbles, ”The information is too lacking. They didnʼt even add what happened to the ones who hunted this flower and how to treat them. Lotus of life is it? Itʼs just an evil thing!”

”Ancestor! Ancestor! Report! Report!”

”Stop shouting! What is it?” Lu Wangle asked.

”The spies said they spotted a huge black dragon leaving Numen Town.”

Lu Wangle turned silent for a bit and there was a serious expression on his face, ”I see. What about the changes in the territory of the Mo Clan?”

”Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue hasnʼt made his move yet.”

”... Make preparations. Tell Lu Ming to welcome us. I will personally send our people to Somatic Town.” Lu Wangle said.

”...As you wish, Ancestor.” The clansmen didnʼt believe what he heard just now and were left dumbfounded for a few seconds, but responded accordingly to their Ancestorʼs request.

---

Somewhere in the Mo Clan...

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue also heard the same news as the Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle.

He mumbles, ”Coming with him riding on a black dragon? Even after you lose everything in the end you choose to be with him. Now I feel foolish that I harmed you that day. My stupid grandson.”

”Send Mo Yuhan to meet his cousin in Somatic Town. Just do as he wishes and he is not to ask for a fight with the man beside his brother.” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue commanded.

”Yes, Ancestor.”

”Jingʼer, this is all Grandpa can help you with,” mumbles Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue.

Although Mo Xuejing and Mo Yuhan were not close, most of the latterʼs descendents obeyed his orders because he was the strongest and oldest descendant in the Mo Clan. In addition, Mo Yuhan is the villain who is at odds with Lu Ming and the reason why the first Ji Yoonjun died in a previous life.
