I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1180: 18.18 First Grey Star - Lu Brothers

Since it was decided that everyone would travel to Somatic Town the following day, everyone made their own arrangements. Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing spend the entire night packing their bags and the cubsʼ, and Ye Jingxia—who has his own inventory in the form of a necklace—puts everything he and his sister own inside, including snacks and extra clothes.

When Ye Jieye told Lu Shang and Leica about the changes in population, they decided to buy a small mansion instead of making reservations in the apartment in that town for the cubs and Old Mu. The old manʼs villa used to be owned by a wealthy man and was up for sale, but Lu Shang bought it right away when he heard that the young master and the little princess were arriving.

They could not let them live in an apartment where there was not enough room for them to play.

---

Meanwhile, in Somatic Town...

It was only ambiguous at first, but as they spent more time together, the Protagonists Gong, Lu Ming, and Su Jin got along well; in fact, their relationship became even sweeter than that of the old doctor, and Ji Yoonjun would frequently complain about how they threw dog food every single day.

In the cafe, Ji Yoonjun is snacking on popcorn while watching Lu Ming and Su Jin flirt in the kitchen, and the old doctor is also there, eating various nuts with him as they witness the sickeningly sweet scene before them as if they were watching a play.

”They are so sticky every day. Some customers even come here to flirt. Young couples these days. Sigh~” the old doctor commented.

Ji Yoonjun commented, ”Isnʼt it fine? At least the cafe is booming. Hehe~” He is extremely satisfied by how much his business is in the heat these days.

The old doctor suddenly said, ”Boy, you should be careful when opening your cafe these days. There would be a huge number of outsiders coming to this town because of the changes in the mountain range. Lu Ming will stay here to protect you for a while, but he would also need to go up. When that happens, just close the store for a bit if you feel itʼs dangerous. Not all Gourmet Hunters are reasonable.”

Ding~ ding~

Lu Shang and Leica are the two surprising customers who arrived as the door opened in tandem with this sound. The cafe opened early today, but it is usually empty at this time.

Leica said, ”Hello, is this cafe open?”

”Yes, of course. Please go inside. I will show you the menu,” Ji Yoonjun said as he welcomed his guests with a smile.

Lu Shang, who was looking around, noticed his younger brother and said, ”Lu Ming, come out here and talk with me for a while.”

”Big brother? Why are you here?” Lu Ming said in surprise. He didnʼt expect his elder brother to come here. He told Su Jin he would be back and went out of the cafe with his elder brother.

Ji Yoonjun who just passed the menu to Leica asked, ”Are those two going to fight?”

”Donʼt worry, they wonʼt. AʼShang only came to warn him. Please give me a cup of espresso and a cup of iced cappuccino. Also a basket of garlic bread, a serving of Creamy White Chicken and Spinach Lasagna, a serving of Fettuccine Alfredo, and a plate of Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole.” Leica listed down their orders while Ji Yoonjun recorded everything.

”Iʼve got your order. Is there something you want for the after-meal?” asked Ji Yoonjun with a business smile.

Leica looked at the fridge shelf, not far from the counter, and saw various small desserts placed on it.

”Then a bowl of fruit yogurt and two slices of cheesecake.”

”Understood. Please wait for a while for your orders,” Ji Yoonjun said as he served two glasses of iced water to this table before heading to the kitchen and making all the orders.

Su Jin, who had never expected the relationship between the brothers to be this good, saw Lu Ming talking to a man who appeared to be a little older than his beloved and knew right away who the man was: Lu Shang, the right-hand man of the hidden villain Ye Jieye and the one who had most conflicts with the hidden boss, Mo Xuejing, in his previous life.

”Senior, is that person really AʼMingʼs elder brother?” asked Su Jin.

The old doctor answered, ”Yes. But if this man is here that only means that... that person is also coming. Sigh~ I hope this town doesnʼt get involved with them. Xiao Jun, Iʼm going back to my clinic. Deliver my lunch later after you serve your customers.”

”Sure... I will make it as soon as possible.” Ji Yoonjun shouted from the kitchen while the old doctor prepared to leave and return to his clinic across the street.

Meanwhile, outside the cafe, Lu Shang was lighting a cigarette as his younger brother stood beside him quietly.

Lu Ming asked, ”Big brother, why are you here? Are you here to pick me up? Iʼm not going home yet.”

”Itʼs better if you donʼt go home for a while. The clan is in a mess lately. Moreover, tomorrow Lord Ye and his family are coming over. I donʼt know if they are interested in that ingredient you found but there is something you should know,” Lu Shang said.

Lu Mingʼs face already turned pale when he heard his cousin, Ye Jieye coming. But it seems that wasnʼt all. He asked his brother, ”What more?”

”Mo Xuejing is coming as well. So the clan wouldnʼt blame you if you canʼt get that ingredient. But brother, that thing has dual elements of wind and fire; it is extremely compatible with me!” Lu Ming said.

Lu Shang frowned. ”I will ask Cousin if he is interested in it, but I heard his target is the Behemoth Carabao. Iʼm not sure about Mo Xuejingʼs thoughts.”

”If Mo Xuejing and Cousin are both interested in it, would they fight?” Lu Ming asked. Those two were both the cream of the crop among their own clans. If they truly fight with each other, then the battle would be quite something to see.

Lu Shang, who witnessed Mo Xuejing living in his bossʼs house for days, commented, ”They might not fight. Iʼm here to ask you if you know who owns that villa on the outskirts.”

”That villa? I donʼt know. I will ask someone if they know. Letʼs go inside, and I will introduce you to someone,” Lu Ming said as the brothers bumped into the old doctor.

”Doctor Sen, greetings,” Lu Shang said.

The old doctor nods and accepts his greeting. Then he asked, ”Is there something you need to tell me, Xiao Shang?”

”Yes, Senior Mu is coming tomorrow as well,” Lu Shang said.

The old doctor is shocked and exclaims, ”What!? He is coming!? Why?”

”Well, cousin is bringing his children. Senior Mu is coming to protect the cubs,” Lu Shang said.

The old doctor frowned as if he couldnʼt believe what Lu Shang had said just now. ”Okay. Noted. I will inform that person about it. Really, whatʼs wrong with those old things? They keep doing things that make things chaotic.

Brat, tell Xiao Jun to send two servings for lunch.”

”Okay.” Lu Ming said as they watched the old doctor return to his own clinic. He tugged on his brotherʼs clothes and whispered, ”Big brother, who is coming for that old man to react like that?”

”Well, itʼs better for you not to know. Letʼs go in. Iʼm starving.” Lu Shang said.

Ji Yoonjun had just finished serving the meals Leica had ordered for the two of them when the brothers arrived at the cafe. The table in front of Leica is piled high with plates and dishes, and there is a basket of garlic bread made from elite-grade, fifth-class brown wheat, and common garlic spices made from elite-grade, sixth-class sunflower garlic.

They include a Creamy White Chicken and Spinach Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole made with a 3rd class, Elite grade Cream matsutake, milk and cheese made with a 6th class, rare grade, Mountain Goat, 1st class, elite grade Water Spinach, and a Snow Vermillion Pheasant, which is a 4th class, rare grade Ingredient.

These dishes are pricey, and Ji Yoonjun hardly ever served them to customers, but the people who made them were related to Lu Ming, and Su Jin pleaded with him to use their best ingredients from the warehouse.

After lunch, Lu Ming shows Ji Yoonjun and Su Jin his older brother and his partner. Although this was Lu Mingʼs first encounter with Leica other than his brother, he could tell by their body language that this person was undoubtedly his older brotherʼs boyfriend.

”Elder Brother, let me introduce you to the owner of this cafe. His name is Ji Yoonjun and he is an Amateur Class Chef.”

”Nice meeting you,” Ji Yoonjun said as he bowed his head in greeting with a smile.

Lu Ming held Su Jinʼs hand and pulled him over, ”This is my future lover, Su Jin. Ji Yoonjun and him are friends. He is also a beginner chef but his cooking is something I love a lot.”

”H-Hello~” Su Jinʼs face turned red when he heard Lu Ming calling him future lover. They are after all not yet in a relationship as they just recently met.

Lu Ming thought of the former reason and explained, and Lu Shang and Leicaʼs expressions betrayed their confusion—not because they had heard that Lu Ming preferred the cooking of a beginner chef over that of an amateur chef, but rather because his partner had been replaced.

After all, they were aware of the original plot of this world, which should have had Ji Yoonjun as the protagonist instead of Su Jin.

Lu Ming said, ”Big brother, donʼt look down on Xiao Jin just because he is only a Beginner Chef. Even though Ji Yoonjunʼs cooking is good, my illness doesnʼt allow me to enjoy it. I can only eat Xiao Jinʼs cooking with no worries.”

Lu Shang was still confused when suddenly he received a kick from his lover under the table and woke up.

”S-Sorry, I didnʼt mean anything and I donʼt look down on Su Jinʼs ranking. Instead, I was surprised that you now can eat properly thanks to his cooking.” Lu Shang said with a friendly smile.

That was the only time that Lu Ming and Su Jing felt relieved and knew that Lu Shang had acknowledged their relationship as that of an elder brother.

Ji Yoonjun, on the other hand, believed that Lu Shang and Leicaʼs pauses were strange and that they continued to secretly glance at him as though they were confused by something, as though they were shocked that Lu Ming had introduced Su Jing as his lover rather than him.

Ji Yoonjun also thought of another possibility, ʼDonʼt tell these two are...ʼ

Lu Shang also introduced his lover, ”This is my lover and fiance, Leica. The Clan does approve of us, but we donʼt really care about the clan. He is an information broker, if there is something you need help with, Leica might be able to help you.”

”Hello, itʼs a pleasure to meet you,” Leica said.

Lu Ming and the other two also greeted him with the same politeness and courtesy.

”Big Brother, if Brother Leica is an information broker, doesnʼt that mean you already know what ingredients are in the Tornado Mountain Ranges? Even though I am the one who reported, I didnʼt know what kind of ingredients it was.” Lu Ming said. ”Brother Leica, is that ingredient really a dual elemental type one?”

Leica nodded his head and said, ”It is the same as you reported, a dual wind and fire elemental ingredient. There arenʼt any measurements for its class and grade though. There is only one problem.”

”A problem?” Lu Ming asked.

Leica said, ”It keeps changing location. It wasnʼt sure yet if it was flying around or was moved by the wind. After all, the location is Tornado Mountain Ranges where winds are always blowing. The satellite is unable to take a clear picture of that ingredient but they say that it might be a legend-grade or maybe...”

”A god-grade ingredient.” Ji Yoonjun commented.

Leica said, ”Yes, it might be a god-grade one. If that happens, the Heavenly Guardians would make a move. so it would be extremely dangerous during the day when itʼs supposed to bloom completely.”

The cafe was silent, and Su Jin and Lu Ming were particularly melancholy. Since Gourmet Hunter has its own primary components, Lu Mingʼs usage of the twin elements of fire and wind is particularly beneficial for boosting his strength.

Lu Shang said, ”Donʼt think too much. Those old men wouldnʼt appear just because that ingredient happened to be God-grade. Only when no one in the younger generation is capable of hunting would they make their moves, but even so, Mingʼs chances of getting it are too little.”

”Why is that?” Su Jin asked.

Leica answered, ”Because Mo Xuejing of the Mo Clan and Satan are coming into this danger zone as well.”
