I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1171: 18.9 First Grey Star - Four Season Orchard on the Turtleʼs Shell

There are 6 danger zones on this planet: The all day Active Volcano Island, Red Magma Island. The eternal winter, Aurora Glaciers. The deepest trench, Anairam Trench. A mountain range whose wind is as sharp as blades, Tornado Mountain Range. Star Fall Garden, in outer space. Lastly is Death Forest.

The Death Forest is a wild region where even ordinary ingredients were mutated. It is beyond the West Gates borders and the entrance to this forest is a small town called Numen Town. It was said that this town is under the protection of the West Guardian, Lord Mu. It is that all of the living creatures that live there are all vicious and powerful.

Only Spade and Joker Gourmet Hunters are allowed to enter with the permission of the Mayor.

As for the Soloist Hunters, the outskirts are free for them to roam. To get to the inner region the forest will test you and only when you pass that you can move to the inner region but no one has entered the core region at all.

Back to the Food Gathering Association...

The Branch Manager who fainted, Angram, immediately reported to the higher ups about the recent discovery in the Death Forest. An uncertified habitat of a 4th grade rare Ingredient, Snow Vermillion Pheasant. At first the elders of the Association were delighted upon such news but when they heard its location all of them had turned silent.

”If I remember the entrance to the Death Forest is under that personʼs jurisdiction. So hunters that are associated with the other organizations will need to seek his permission first before entering his town, or else they wonʼt return anymore.”

”That town is to be untouched. Once that lord moves the other lords would as well especially the one from the Mo Clan.”

”But thatʼs a habitat of a rare grade ingredient, itʼs a waste if itʼs left alone.”

”Canʼt we just go through the sky and directly avoid the town?”

”No. Thatʼs Death Forest, a living territory. The only entrance to enter is through the small town, Numen. Using the other routes would just make one run in circles.”

”What should we do?”

”Iʼll contact the president of the association to ask. For now, keep the information classified. Also bring me the information about the identity of the caller just now. Immediately!”

”Yes, Elders!”

Back to the Death Forest...

Ye Jieye didnʼt know what kind of commotion he had made with that complain call. He continued to travel through the forest after catching a few white pheasants. He knock those chickens out and hang them to his rucksack tied up upside down. He planned to make a small chicken farm behind his house for the sake of eggs. Eggs had a lot of uses. It can be used in dishes or in desserts.

The cubs at home was like his wife, they love eating something sweet especially mini cakes. Well, two hen and a rooster should be enough as starter farm.

It felt weird to carry Something for Ye Jieye. He is too used to the privilege life of a God where he can utilized space inventory at anytime. But because of how low-ranked tjis world is, things like divinity and space elements controlled by humans instead of artifacts are restricted. Even food from the Drother world is not allowed to be brought out.

But personal use of space inventory without anyone seeing seems to be a certai loophole left for him, Ye Jieye took advantage of this and placed the things and all even the living things he caught inside the small world, Jingʼer and he shares.

After capturing tons of crabs, fishes, shrimps and crayfishes in the river and grabbed two hens and a rooster from the white pheasant group running around the forest he now bumps into a towering cotton like cream colored wall.

Ye Jieye remained calm in such a weird pi situation, ”What the hell is this wall?”

He reaches out his hand and touches the fluffy fur thing with his hand. The moment felt a pulse and warmth coming form the white wall, Ye Jieye instantly knew that this thing blocking his way is not just a simple white wall but a huge living creature.

”This thing is alive. I remember that the terminal had some kind of scanning function,” mumbles Ye Jieye as he used his terminal to scan apart of this thing before his face.

[Scanning Complete. Ingredient found a. match. This is a Hibernating Hill Lamb. Rare-grade, Class 1. A hibernating hill lamb is said to be capable of growing in a size of a mountain.

His cub had a normal size of a small hill. Its fur is as soft as cotton and mostly used to make winter clothes. Their meat is juicy, tender meat once cooked to perfection. The succulence of the flesh, coupled with the way it can fall apart and take on the flavours of marinades, spice, and herbs make meat so incredibly versatile and brilliant to cook with.

Note: Adult Hibernating Hill Lamb is inedible.]

Ye Jieye took a moment to think. The lamb was too big for him to bring back. The problem wasnʼt the volume but instead how he is going to explain the way he brought it back if he cut it to pieces. But this lamb is a delicacy, itʼs delicious when grilled or stewed with milk. Actually, he hasnʼt decided yet what to cook and sell in his small restaurant.

But with this small hill of lamb meat, he can sell lamb meat for a few months.

”The problem is how to bring it back.” Ye Jieye mumbles as he jumps over and climbs to the top of the white wall in front of him.

He as expected saw an even more towering lamb in front of him. Itʼs five times larger than the one he is standing on. But the problem is that, Ye Jieye can only feel one breathing. It seems the big one had reached the end of its lifespan and was turning to a real mountain after its death.

Ye Jieye mumbles, ”Is this little one not moving because it didnʼt want to live anymore? Forget it, I wonʼt hunt you anymore. Go. Find your reason to live.” He jumped off the huge lamb and continue his journey to the core area. He didnʼt even notice that the small hill had opened its eyes at the last moment and watch him take his leave.

The core of the forest is separated at the center to the rest of itʼs body by a huge pond encircling it. Ye Jieye didnʼt looked at the small island not far his eyes but instead looking at the water that separated from it. He met with the huge eyes under the water.

If Ye Jieye is still the original he would have run away but the one that replaced him is the God of Void, who boldly meet those huge pair of eyes underwater without any changes on his apathetic expression.

Ye Jieye said, ”Come out. I will decide whether to kill you ir not after seeing you.”

A huge head resurfaced from under the water. Itʼs a turtle head and its neck was connected to the small island at the center. It seems that island was a part of his body. Ye Jieye checked what kind of ingredient this huge turtle is. This turtle is registered but his rank is incapable of allowing him from seeing such ingredient. It seems to be a first class, God-grade ingredient.

The Earth Forest Turtle.

This earth forest turtle is a bit intelligent. It can feel the aura of anything around him. Of course, he noticed the sinister yet divine soul in Ye Jieyeʼs body. It frightened him so much that it hid its head under the water to observe the human.

Ye Jieye upon learning that this God-grade ingredient is a turtle, completely lost interest in hunting it. Itʼs an old turtle, it might be a God-grade ingredient but no one in his family likes eating it. Instead he is interested in the fruit tress growing on the top of its shell.

”Old turtle. I am not interested in hunting you but I want some fruits. The ones on your back, let me pick some fruits and I will leave you alone. Donʼt worry about the other human hunters. I will make a formation around this place so you can hide here for as long as you want. Nod if you agree.” Ye Jieye said.

Unexpectedly, the old turtle understands his word and truly nods his head and lowered it before. Ye Jieye. It is asking Ye Jieye to ride his head so he can bring him over on the top of its shell. Ye Jieye understood its thoughts and allowed him to bring him over to the island like a shell.

The shell of the turtle is like a big round island and the forest on top of it looks more greener than the ones in the Death Forest.

The top of the shell is divided into four and each section has its own season. The old turtle places Ye Jieye in the land with red leaf trees, autumn season. The scent of ripe fruits was lingering in this area. Itʼs like a mini orchard. Thereʼs a Fiery Grape Vines and a few Lava Apple Trees. These two fruits were something his little girl needs in this world.

He planned to replant a few in their small world and pluck the fruits as well. There are also some other fruits like the screaming orange, ice water pears and etc.

Ye Jieye took a lot of these fruits and placed them in fruit baskets he pulled out from the inventory of his rucksack. Some were pulled and replanted in his small world. He also looked around the other sections. In the winter part, he dug up a snow lotus which is delicious for making lotus root soup. Crying kumquats, dancing persimmons, Rolling in snow Pomelos and etc.

In the spring season section, he picked some human head shaped honeydew melons which he also threw when it tried to kiss him. The exploding cherries were great, the sweetness and sourness exploded in the mouth, bleeding apricot continues to red syrup that looks like blood but when it was plucked it would stop bleeding,

and hairy pineapples which Ye Jieye braided its hair into a basket and threw it in his rucksack.

In the summer season section, thereʼs a crystal plums that glows like diamonds under the sun. The light was so bright it would directly blind someone who dares to pick it without sunglasses. There are also some flying watermelons which Ye Jieye had to chase in the sky for it to ripen. Heavenly Peaces that can extends life for a few days and even a few years.

This one is a 3rd class, legend-grade ingredient. This wasnʼt the first legend-grade Ingredient he found. There are a few legend-grade on this shell island.

Well, itʼs not surprising as this Earth Forest Turtle had a lot of rare and a few legend-grade ingredients growing on his shell. It is a God-grade ingredient after all. After pocking enough fruits, Ye Jieye decided to return to the location where the Old Turtle had placed him fown before.

Ye Jieye shouted, ”Old turtle, Iʼm leaving now. Put me on the other shore!”

The Earth Forest Turtle listened to him and once again allowed him to ride his head and placed him on the opposite side shore. Before leaving he pats the big turtleʼs head and gave him a qi gathering pill from his inventory.

”This is my gift in exchange for the fruits. Next time I will bring my children to meet you, Old Turtle.” Ye Jieye said.

The old turtle didnʼt ate the qi gathering oill that made him want so much right away. He watches as Ye Jieyeʼs back disappear in the distance an mist rises within the forest not far from. It realized that this must be the formation that great one had mentioned before.

After making a decision, the old turle shrinks its limbs and head in the shell and submerge its body except for the islan like top area of his shell. The core area of the Death Forest had returned to itʼs peaceful state once more.
