Naturally, Qian Wudang wouldn’t let Lu Ye go. Lu Ye belonged to the Ministry of Laws, and this wasn’t negotiable.

“The production is limited because only Lu Yi Ye can make these items so far. I’ve asked other artificers to try, but the result is disappointing.”

“Just tell us how many he can make a day!” Chao Ye said agitatedly.

“Not many. Around 700 to 800 a day.”

Everyone in the Hall of Harmony became silent, falling into their thoughts.

If Lu Ye could make 700 to 800 United as One Ward Nexuses a day, there would be over 20,000 pieces in a month. Every ward nexus could be used by five or even ten people. If they took the median number, a month’s output would be sufficient to equip more than 100,000 cultivators with the items.

There was no doubt the items were strategic fatal weapons.

An anxious Chao Ye turned to look at Pang Zhen. “Deputy Coalition Leader, I demand that Lu Ye be transferred to the Ministry of Military Supplies to maximise his value. That way, the reputation of Bing Zhou Watch would be strengthened in the shortest time possible.”

“You must be sick of living.” Qian Wudang glowered at him.

Chao Ye barked, “Is this how you’re supposed to talk to a Senior?”

“I don’t respect anyone who thinks they can do whatever they want just because they’re old.”

They started arguing again to defend their respective interests.

Pang Zhen tapped on the table, after which the two of them fell silent. They turned to look at Pang Zhen, waiting for him to announce his decision. Naturally, they already knew what the outcome would be.

“The Ministry of Military Supplies is responsible for the supply of resources. These amazing ward nexuses should be regarded as military supplies, so they should be managed and distributed by the Ministry of Military Supplies,” Pang Zhen said gently. No one protested or cut him off. “As for Lu Yi Ye, he’ll stay in the Ministry of Laws. What do the two of you say?”

Chao Ye and Qian Wudang were fine with that suggestion, so they agreed to it.

“Additionally, the fact that United as One Ward Nexuses are made by Lu Yi Ye has to be kept secret. No one is allowed to leak the secret to anyone,” Pang Zhen ordered solemnly.

It was to protect Lu Ye. If those from Thousand Demon Ridge found out about this matter, it would put Lu Ye at risk.

Naturally, they understood it was important to keep this matter a secret.

An argument was over just like that. The Ministry of Military Supplies acquired the right to distribute United as One Ward Nexuses, and the Ministry of Laws had gotten rid of a burden. They would provide a lot of ward nexuses to those from the Ministry of Military Supplies, who would compensate them with more resources.

They already understood that, so the matter didn’t have to be discussed.

They left the hall when the conference ended. Qian Wudang and Chao Ye walked out of the hall together while discussing the transfer of the ward nexuses. It didn’t seem like they had just argued fiercely and almost got into a fight.

They argued because they represented different Ministries. They reconciled because both of them were cultivators of Bing Zhou.

In his room, Lu Ye was still crafting Explosive Fire Spirit Stones and United as One Ward Nexuses at the same time. He was also cultivating his power as there was a golden swirl in front of him.

He had been in this state for over a month, which was boring. But that was how cultivators cultivated their powers. If they couldn’t bear the boredom, how were they going to achieve anything?

Detecting something, Lu Ye stopped what he was doing and opened the door to see a familiar figure seated beside the stone table in the courtyard.

He quickly went over and saluted the person. “Sect Master.”

Tang Yi Feng felt gratified as he looked at Lu Ye. “I’m glad you’re still healthy and energetic.” He extended his hand. “Have a seat.”

Lu Ye took a seat and fished out a tea set from his Storage Sphere before preparing tea.

Tang Yi Feng smiled, having no intention of asking about United as One Ward Nexuses. He only said, “When I accepted you into the Sect at Evil Moon Valley back then, I was planning to send you away at a later time.”

Lu Ye was surprised as he didn’t know that. “Where were you planning to send me to?”

“It wasn’t decided yet. You know that I had no intention to keep the Sect running, but I was bound by rules to accept you into the Sect. Considering the state we were in at that time, we couldn’t take on any new disciple.”

“I understand.” Lu Ye nodded.

Then, a series of incidents that were beyond anyone’s control happened. They were ambushed while on their way back to Mount Ao, so Tang Yi Feng had no choice but to send Lu Ye to the Spirit Creek Battlefield. After that, Lu Ye’s identity as the disciple of the Crimson Blood Sect was exposed, causing many Thousand Demon Ridge cultivators to hunt him down.

Since everyone knew that Lu Ye was a disciple of the Crimson Blood Sect, it was pointless to send him away. By the time Lu Ye returned to Mount Ao after surmounting numerous obstacles, Tang Yi Feng had given up on the idea.

In the past few years, the Crimson Blood Sect, which was about to be delisted by the Heavens, was rejuvenated.

“I have to thank you. If not for you, the Crimson Blood Sect would’ve been delisted, and I would’ve become the sinner of the Sect, carrying the shame with me until my death.”

Lu Ye was astounded upon hearing that. “You don’t have to thank me, Sect Master. It’s what I’m supposed to do.”

“You don’t owe this Sect anything, and you’ve got little to no benefits from us. Instead, you’ve been running into trouble ever since you joined the Sect. The protection I can give you is limited too. It’s been tough for you to grow your power in such an environment.” Tang Yi Feng sighed.

When Lu Ye was abducted previously, Tang Yi Feng immediately set off to rescue him, but he couldn’t achieve his goal in the end. He had been blaming himself for the past two years. Fortunately, Lu Ye returned as a healthy person, and he had even ascended to the Divine Ocean Realm.

“I can see that, just like your Eldest Senior Brother, you have the Heavens’ blessing. Both of you are meant to be influential figures in this world. However, what happened to your Eldest Senior Brother should serve as a lesson to you. I’m not saying you should keep a low profile. You’re a young man, so it’s only natural that you have the guts to speak up and act on your ideas. I just hope that whatever you do in the future, you have to prioritise your safety. Only when you’re safe could you achieve more in life.”

“I’ll keep that in mind,” Lu Ye replied and held out a cup of tea for him.

A gratified Tang Yi Feng took the teacup and had a sip.

After a moment of hesitation, Lu Ye said, “There’s something I need to tell you, Sect Master.”

While sipping tea, Tang Yi Feng replied, “You don’t have to worry about anything in front of me. Just tell me whatever you want to say. At my age, I consider myself experienced and knowledgeable. If you have any doubts, I can give you some guidance.”

Lu Ye took a deep breath and said, “I met Eldest Senior Brother.”

Tang Yi Feng instantly sprayed out a mouthful of tea. Fortunately, he had cocked his head in time, or Lu Ye’s face would’ve been covered in tea. He wiped his lips and put down the teacup before saying with uncertainty, “What did you just say? I’m old, so I can’t hear you clearly.”

“I met Eldest Senior Brother,” Lu Ye repeated seriously.

Before his return, he had asked Feng Wujiang if the latter had a word for anyone. After all, Feng Wujiang had many friends and relatives in Jiu Zhou. Since Lu Ye was about to return to Jiu Zhou, he could help pass on Feng Wujiang’s word.

However, Feng Wujiang told him to say nothing to save his friends and relatives the trouble. If he had a chance to reunite with them in the future, they would understand everything.

Lu Ye understood his concerns. To the people closest to him, Feng Wujiang had been dead for decades. Time had healed many wounds. If Lu Ye suddenly told them Feng Wujiang was still alive, their lives would be affected.

The problem was that Feng Wujiang was in Blood Refinement Boundary. Even if they found out Feng Wujiang was still alive, they couldn’t immediately reunite with him. Their mental health would take a toll as they would think about him all the time.

As such, Lu Ye had no intention of telling anyone else that Feng Wujiang was still alive, but he couldn’t hide it from Tang Yi Feng.

He thought it was necessary to inform Tang Yi Feng about it.

After becoming startled for a moment, Tang Yi Feng smiled. “What are you talking about? Your Eldest Senior Brother has been dead for decades. Where did you even meet him?”

“I’m serious, Sect Master.”

Seeing how solemn Le Ye was, Tang Yi Feng stopped smiling and straightened his face. “Tell me everything.”

“This is what happened…”

Lu Ye then told him that after he was captured by Yu Daiwei, he was brought to a Small Hidden Realm where he met Tai Shan. After that, he came up with a way to destroy the Small Hidden Realm.

“I had some experience in breaking free from a Small Hidden Realm before that, so I knew how to do it. After the Small Hidden Realm came apart, I initially thought I would return to Jiu Zhou. Much to my surprise, I was sent to a different world named Blood Refinement Boundary.”

He briefly described the situation in Blood Refinement Boundary. He cut out his experience in the beginning and brought up Divine Palace Sea.

“Eldest Senior Brother arrived in Blood Refinement Boundary decades ago and established the Crimson Blood Holy Land, which is the only safe place for the Humans in that world. Blood Race members had repeatedly come to attack the Holy Land in different directions. Eldest Senior Brother led the cultivators of the Holy Land to successfully fend them off on several occasions.”

After a pause, he continued, “Also, there are more than 70 Seniors over there who are the most powerful cultivators of their eras. They include the third Sect Master of the Righteous Sect, Senior Meng Jie, the fifth Sword Master of the Northern Profound Sword Clan, Senior Jian Guhong, the Chief Elder of the Surging Waves Clan from 200 years ago, Senior Mi Xuan, and the second Valley Master of Royal Medicine Valley, Grandma Jiu. There’s also an artificer named Ouyang Zi. It’s thanks to these Seniors that the Crimson Blood Holy Land is still around.”

Although Tang Yi Feng was knowledgeable and sedate, he was still astounded by Lu Ye’s words.

He initially thought Lu Ye had been conned. After all, Lu Ye had never seen Feng Wujiang before, and he was young. A powerful cultivator might’ve used an abstruse move to trick him.

However, Tang Yi Feng soon realised what Lu Ye had said was true.

“So, you weren’t trapped in a Small Hidden Realm in the past two years. You were sent to a world named Blood Refinement Boundary.”

“Yes.” Lu Ye nodded.

Realising something, Tang Yi Feng pointed at the sky. “Is it a certain being’s doing?”

Only the mysterious Heavens were able to achieve that.

“I think so.”

Tang Yi Feng remained silent for a while before laughing. “He’s still alive!”

It was the best news he had ever heard in recent years. He could never forget about Feng Wujiang’s death even though decades had passed. Much to his surprise, a supposedly dead person was still alive, but he now lived in a different world.

Moreover, Tang Yi Feng realised something unusual in Lu Ye’s tale.

Besides Feng Wujiang, many top cultivators that Tang Yi Feng had only heard of had been sent to Blood Refinement Boundary as well. He couldn’t help but fall deep into his thoughts.

“Before my departure, Eldest Senior Brother had told me not to tell anyone about it. But I think I should let you know.”

Tang Yi Feng ran his fingers through his beard. “Your Eldest Senior Brother has his considerations, so he’s right to tell you not to inform anyone about it. Let’s keep it between ourselves and tell no one else. If word gets out, it’ll only cause some disturbance.”

“I understand.”
