His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2392: Chapter 684: The Return (Part 2)

”This...”

The child’s grandmother was truly shocked by Feng Fanghua’s words and her expression turned a bit unpleasant, unsure of what to do.

”My mother-in-law is joking with you! Don’t take it seriously!”

Qin Mu smiled slightly and explained to her.

Originally seeing the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law come together to pick up the child, knowing their Mu Family was wealthy and influential, she wanted to greet them and establish a connection, but now the grandmother awkwardly smiled and quickly left the area to avoid trouble.

”Was I joking with her?”

Feng Fanghua coldly asked Qin Mu after the person left.

”Of course you weren’t joking, just leaving the person embarrassed!”

Qin Mu explained nonchalantly.

”Ha! Should I care about leaving others embarrassed?”

”You’re the mistress of the Mu Family, cherished by your husband, with outstanding children, naturally you don’t need to think about what’s on others’ minds!”

Qin Mu continued speaking to her with patience, but today Qin Mu’s words were too much, leaving Feng Fanghua uncomfortable.

”Humph!”

At this moment, the kindergarten gate opened, Feng Fanghua snorted coldly and walked toward it without paying attention,

”Mrs. Mu, I’m your fan, it’s the first time I’ve seen you come pick up the child, can I get your autograph?”

”Me too, me too!”

Several young new mothers suddenly appeared behind her while she was still watching Feng Fanghua’s back with astonishment.

When Chengcheng and Feng Fanghua came out, they saw a group of people by their family car, not knowing what they were doing.

”What’s going on?”

”Sigh! It’s definitely mom’s fans!”

Feng Fanghua wondered, and Chengcheng, seeing Qin Mu’s car, sighed and replied with resignation to his grandmother.

Feng Fanghua couldn’t help but chuckle, feeling dissatisfied.

Thinking of getting autographs, why do it beside our family car?

Obviously it’s out of fear she’d take the child away silently.

Qin Mu also held back a bit.

”Mom!”

Chengcheng walked over, carrying his backpack, his hands gripping its straps, somewhat displeased as he called out from behind.

Qin Mu heard the sound and quickly reminded the others that they needed to pick up their children, so those who got autographs reluctantly left, though they originally wanted to take pictures with her too.

”Almost there!”

Finally able to see Chengcheng, Qin Mu softly reminded him, then quickly signed names for those mothers and took photos, before everyone hurried to school to pick up their children.

Chengcheng stood by: ”Your fans are really annoying!”

”Humph! Made you wait too long!”

Qin Mu patted his little head, then looked up to see Feng Fanghua approaching, so she bent down and asked Chengcheng: ”Grandmother said you didn’t see grandfather last night and wanted to take you to the family house to see him again, what do you think?”

”Seeing grandfather is fine, but tonight my sister and I don’t want to stay there anymore, will you and dad come with us to see grandfather?”

Chengcheng thought for a moment, his little mouth moved, his words creating a dilemma.

Qin Mu also didn’t want to go to Mu Family, she mainly felt awkward, not knowing when it started, going there made her uncomfortable.

”But you need your grandmother’s approval first, right?”

Qin Mu said.

”Why push the issue onto me? Makes it seem like I’m forbidding you to go!”

Feng Fanghua instantly grew unhappy, turned around, and got into the car first.

Qin Mu...

”Grandmother’s idea is for you to go!”

Chengcheng, seeing Feng Fanghua get in the car, reminded Qin Mu.

Qin Mu looked at Chengcheng’s helpless yet needing gaze, and sighed lightly: ”We should first call your father, he doesn’t know I ran into your grandmother here!”

Chengcheng nodded.

Qin Mu took out her phone to make the call, Feng Fanghua opened the car window and shouted outside: ”Chengcheng, get in grandmother’s car!”

”Oh! I’ll wait for mom to finish calling dad, grandma, please go ahead!”

Chengcheng walked over and greeted Feng Fanghua.

Feng Fanghua...

”Your mom has your dad, can’t you accompany grandma back home?”

Feng Fanghua said, truly feeling sad.

Chengcheng glanced in Qin Mu’s direction, exchanged a look with her, and then resignedly got into his grandmother’s car.

On the road he couldn’t help but say to Feng Fanghua: ”Grandma, I wish you and mom could get along peacefully, you’re both the people I love most!”

Feng Fanghua felt a slight sting from those words, and then raised her hand to hug his shoulder: ”Alright! I’ll coexist peacefully with your mom, for you, okay?”

Chengcheng listened to such words, even if he totally believed them, he was still happy: ”Mm! Thank you grandma, you’re the one who loves me the most!”
