His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1963: Chapter 563: Mr. Mu, My Hand Is So Sore (Third Update)

”Mu, just do me a favor! My hands are so tired!”

Mrs. Mu was whining!

Mu Yichen lounged on the sofa, leisurely looking at his phone, but upon hearing Mrs. Mu’s call, he put his phone down and walked over without lifting his head.

Qin Mu felt like a refined husband was walking towards her.

Well! That’s of course an illusion! Mu, refined? Hahaha!

Qin Mu pulled up a small stool and sat beside him, and Mu Yichen plugged in the hairdryer and began to blow her hair.

Once it was almost dry, Qin Mu wanted to stop, but Mu Yichen pressed down on her head: ”Don’t move! Just a little more!”

Someone with a cold shouldn’t leave their hair wet, a few more minutes won’t hurt.

Qin Mu sat on the small stool with her shoulders shrugged helplessly, continued to have her hair blown by an insistent Mu, and happened to glance up, realizing that he seemed so focused, unlike his usual self.

”Mu Yichen!”

Qin Mu couldn’t help but call out to him.

But the hairdryer was loud, and her voice wasn’t, so it was successfully drowned out.

Yet, Qin Mu thought it was fine that he didn’t hear; she couldn’t help but chuckle, then lowered her gaze, childishly playing with her nails.

Only when Mu Yichen felt every strand of hair was dry did he turn off the hairdryer, releasing her.

”All right! Get up!”

Mu Yichen said, still holding her hair.

As Qin Mu stood up, she was tugged backward: ”Mu Yichen, let go!”

”Let go of what?”

Mu Yichen pulled slightly harder and succeeded in bringing her into his embrace. This time he let go of her hair but held tightly onto her slender waist.

”Mrs. Mu, you’re quite alluring right now!”

Mu Yichen lightly kissed her neck.

”Come on, you said you’d restrain yourself when I’m sick.”

”So you’re flaunting yourself in front of me, testing my self-control?”

Mu Yichen questioned her act of undressing outside just now.

”You’re lying, next time I won’t undress in front of you, is that okay?”

Qin Mu couldn’t help but ask him.

Mu Yichen very much disagreed upon hearing and lingered on her neck for a while before whispering to her: ”I promise, if you keep using words like that against me, I’ll make sure you taste the consequences.”

”Ah!”

Qin Mu’s ear was bitten, and she dared not move due to the pain.

”I was wrong! I was really wrong!”

Qin Mu hurriedly apologized.

Only then did Mu Yichen release her a bit, but didn’t let her leave.

The freshly bathed woman had skin with a rosy tint, Mu Yichen couldn’t take his eyes off her. It felt like he hadn’t properly looked at her all day, though they had laid together in the afternoon.

”Tonight, if you dare to have a fever...”

Mu Yichen raised his hand, touching her burning earlobe, he spoke almost cryptically.

”I know! And then you’ll play me to death!”

Qin Mu immediately cooperated enthusiastically.

Mu Yichen chuckled but couldn’t say more, his wife already knew him so well, what else could he say.

”As long as you understand! Go out!”

The humidity inside was too heavy, and he was barely able to control himself, he needed to shift his attention.

After dinner, it indeed started to rain lightly. Feng Fanghua felt slightly better after using a heated salt bag on her lower back, but still asked the kitchen to prepare another one, joking that perhaps she wouldn’t be able to live without it.

”If one isn’t enough, have them make a few more, so I don’t lose sleep giving you massages at night.”

Mu Zihao jokingly complained.

”Others wish they could, I won’t allow it, and yet you’re not willing!”

Feng Fanghua glanced at him deeply with disdain in her words, but Mu Zihao just laughed.

——

The next day, on her way to the city center, Qin Mu’s car broke down midway, she called for it to be towed for repair, looking around she realized their apartment was quite nearby, so she turned and walked towards it.

Although it had been a while since she last came, the inside was still clean.

Qin Mu went to the kitchen to boil water, then made herself a cup of coffee, and carried it upstairs to the study.

With nothing at hand, she randomly found a piece of paper and a pen unused for ages, and began to write creatively.

It wasn’t until noon when Mu Yichen called that he learned her car had broken down.

”What’s for lunch?”

”Oh, I had groceries delivered from the supermarket, I cooked for myself, it doesn’t look good, so I won’t snap a pic for you!”
