His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1955: Chapter 560: Leisurely and Pleasant Life

”Get out! Don’t stand in front of me making me upset.”

Mrs. Feng was already furious, and her son’s soft approach left her feeling helpless. Now, hearing him say that, she hurriedly told him to get lost.

”Let’s talk later then!”

As Mu Yichen left, he took Qin Mu with him.

Qin Mu’s coat was still on, and his hand was in her hair, gripping the back of her coat, leading her toward the dining room.

Qin Mu was quite uncomfortable, but the living room was the place to escape right now, so she had to endure it. Once they reached the dining room, she slapped him hard: ”That hurts!”

Even her voice scolding him was so small.

Mu Yichen also rubbed his arm hard: ”Are you trying to murder your husband?”

”If I wanted to murder you, I would have done it a thousand times over by now!”

Qin Mu said and pushed him: ”Go make dinner, as if you aren’t back late enough.”

Mu Yichen couldn’t help but smile, a woman in love seemed extra childish, extra temperamental, which oddly made him happy.

Mu Yichen let her push him into the kitchen. The chef was about to prepare dinner for them, but seeing them coming in, he said, ”Young master, young mistress, dinner will be ready soon, you two can wait outside.”

”No no no! You rest, let him do it!”

Qin Mu immediately refused. She wanted to eat Mu Yichen’s cooking, he had happily promised her in the car, and he couldn’t go back on it.

The chef noticed Mu Yichen’s doting look toward Qin Mu, nodded, and said: ”Alright! I’ll step out and leave the kitchen to you two.”

After the chef left, Qin Mu directly pushed him inside.

Mu Yichen looked at the ingredients the chef had prepared, and before starting, he instructed: ”Apron!”

”Yes!”

Qin Mu agreed, then promptly put on the apron specifically for Mr. Mu.

Her hand gently brushed across his waist, giving him a subtle sensation.

Even Qin Mu, at that moment, wanted to hug him directly, but how could she? Mr. Mu was already proud enough, she couldn’t let him get even more self-satisfied.

But then, he suddenly smiled at her, and looking at the warmth between his brows, Qin Mu couldn’t help but become captivated.

While Mu Yichen was cooking, Qin Mu leaned on the side, watching his meticulous manner, and couldn’t help but ask: ”You’re so skilled, do you have some plan later?”

Mu Yichen glanced at her with a gentle smile: ”Haven’t you noticed my stamina isn’t what it used to be?”

Qin Mu paused, her big eyes widened staring at him.

”Alas! Getting old!”

Mr. Mu suddenly showed a sentimental expression, Qin Mu...

”Indeed not as fit as before!”

Qin Mu cooperatively nodded, assessing him, then slowly got up, pretending to leave.

But in the next second, Mu Yichen wrapped his arm around her neck, risking being strangled: ”I’m kidding.”

”Don’t go anywhere from the kitchen, got it?”

Mu Yichen whispered in her ear.

”Got it, got it!”

Qin Mu quickly agreed, coughing from being held too tightly.

Only then did Mu Yichen release her, and Qin Mu turned and hit him twice: ”You nearly strangled me.”

”Don’t worry! I’ve got control of the heat!”

Mu Yichen glanced at her, smiling slightly, confidently telling her.

Qin Mu scoffed, thinking you need the right heat for cooking, do you also need it for strangling me? Am I the same as your dish?

But she didn’t dare to speak for a momentary satisfaction, truly fearing he would strangle her.

Huanhuan and Chengcheng, after baths and changing into pajamas, ran downstairs. Hearing that their parents were cooking in the kitchen, the two little ones couldn’t resist sneaking over to take a look. Huanhuan quietly ran to the kitchen entrance, covering her mouth in fear of her breathing disrupting the people inside, and then beckoned her brother to follow. Chengcheng, getting the cue, immediately crawled forward on the floor.

Huanhuan looked at her silly brother with big eyes, really wanting to say ”idiot.”

But Chengcheng, imitating characters from TV, crawled particularly eagerly. After crawling over, he immediately followed behind his sister and then peeked inside.

Their mom was sitting on the kitchen counter, holding a plate of unidentified food in one hand, and slowly eating with a fork in the other.

Their dad was indeed still cooking, and the smell was so good!

”Brother, are you hungry?”

Huanhuan smelled the scent, and since it was made by dad, she couldn’t help but feel hungry again, turning to quietly ask her brother.

Chengcheng didn’t hear clearly, raised his hand to grab his ear, bothered by the warm breath from his sister’s words, then unhappily asked: ”Sis, what did you say?”
