His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1953: Chapter 560: A Leisurely Life

Mu Yichen couldn’t help but burst into laughter: ”Got it! I won’t let Mrs. Mu wait an entire afternoon again in the future. I’m guilty, I’ll make amends!”

Mu Yichen quickly showed his good intentions, then stepped forward and scooped her up horizontally.

”Hey!”

”What is it?”

Mu Yichen saw her nervous expression, just about to tease her, when he heard the sound of high heels walking away.

”Xiaomei’s inside!”

Qin Mu whispered to him.

Mu Yichen gave a wry smile, then put her down, Qin Mu tidied her clothes, and then pulled him to walk outside.

October was already a bit chilly, but their mood was getting better and better.

In the afternoon, Qin Mu had to meet clients, so Mu Yichen lay on the sofa in her office, reading newspapers and magazines, and sleeping when bored.

This was his dream at eighteen or nineteen, back then he thought in the summer holidays they would do nothing, just stay at home like that, he would lie on the sofa all day, and Qin Mu would be responsible for the cleaning and cooking for him.

But later...

But fortunately, they ended up together. Although it was he who did the cleaning, Qin Mu was his after all.

When Qin Mu came upstairs, she lay on the sofa with him, the two seemed very leisurely, but neither urged the other to work.

”Do you feel that it’s getting colder recently?”

Qin Mu, lying against him on her side, asked with an unmistakable smile on her face.

”Is it? I don’t feel a thing!”

Mu Yichen said, looking down at the most closely embraced part of them.

Qin Mu also glanced down, and the next moment she quickly covered his eyes: ”Hey, stop looking around!”

”I’m legal!”

Mu Yichen, with his eyes covered, calmly reminded her.

”Am I not legal too? I legally refuse, okay?”

Qin Mu playfully covered his eyes with both hands.

Mu Yichen raised his hands to grab her wrists, pulling her hands away, finally seeing his beautiful wife again: ”Okay!”

Even as he said okay, he gave her a fierce kiss on the face.

Qin Mu couldn’t help but laugh: ”When are we going to see Mingzhu’s little baby again?”

”Do you really like that little thing?”

Mu Yichen doubted, could she like it more than him?

”Yeah!”

Qin Mu nodded in agreement, the little guy felt soft to the touch and was so fun, always smiling at her.

”Well! Since Mrs. Mu likes it, you decide!”

Mu Yichen sighed helplessly but didn’t have the heart to refuse her.

So Qin Mu left work an hour and a half early and went to the Qin Family with Mu Yichen.

Mu Yichen intentionally bypassed that road, but the two of them still quickly arrived at the Qin Family.

Lately, it seems they’ve gotten used to avoiding that route.

Qin Mingzhu was resting in the room upstairs and was excitedly trying to get out of bed upon hearing from the auntie at the door that Qin Mu and Mu Yichen had arrived. But just as she put down the children’s book, Qin Mu walked in from outside.

Mu Yichen only took a glance at the door, feeling he might not be suitable to enter, then said: ”I’ll go look around elsewhere.”

”Go, go!”

The sisters both agreed, and after he left, they happily stayed together.

The maternity matron brought the baby to Qin Mu, and she couldn’t help but want to take him: ”Miss needs to wash her hands before touching the baby!”

”Ah! I’ll do it right away!”

Qin Mu felt a bit awkward but immediately got up the next moment.

”Oh my! No need for washing! Sister Zhang, I guarantee that even if everyone in this world is dirty, my sister isn’t. Give her the baby.”

Qin Mingzhu quickly pulled Qin Mu back, commanding the maternity matron, not allowing anyone to make Qin Mu feel awkward.

”Alright! I’m such a worrywart, Miss!”

Realizing Qin Mingzhu’s intention, the maternity matron knew she shouldn’t have said that, quickly admitting her mistake and giving the baby to Qin Mu.

”Thank you!”

Qin Mu couldn’t help but say as she took the little baby in her arms, all the previous awkwardness disappeared.

”Doesn’t he seem like he’s grown a bit?”

Qin Mingzhu leaned over to her, resting on her shoulder as she asked.

”Yes! He’s gotten heavier.”

Qin Mu glanced at Qin Mingzhu, thinking to herself that Mingzhu looked a bit plumper too, but afraid saying so would affect her eating, she didn’t dare to mention it. She felt very blessed, supporting the little life in her hands, with the only family she had left sitting beside her now.

”Hehe! Huanyu says the same thing.”

Qin Mingzhu said as she touched the little fellow’s cheek, the maternity matron, watching from the side, couldn’t help but want to remind them about hygiene. Still, afraid of displeasing the two ladies by saying too much, she turned and left.
