His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1886: Chapter 542: Bathing Takes Only Two Minutes_4

Qin Mu didn’t say anything else, and the elders also thought they had patched things up, after all, those two glasses last night really sparked the imagination.

After arriving at the hotel, Mu Yichen parked the car, and the two of them walked in together. Mu Yichen was dressed in a suit, and Qin Mu was also dressed in blue slacks and a white shirt, carrying her favorite orange bag.

”September 3rd, Huanhuan’s opening ceremony, are you going or am I going?”

He asked her when they entered the elevator.

Qin Mu reflexively looked up at him, ”Aren’t Mom and Dad going?”

Qin Mu thought, would Feng Fanghua make her do such a thing? That’s not logical.

”We are the parents!”

Mu Yichen glanced at her, looking somewhat disappointed.

”Oh! Then let’s go together!”

Qin Mu agreed, then looked straight ahead.

She thought about when she started first grade, although she only thought about it for a bit. She didn’t dare dwell on that time too much, but Mu Yichen looked at her with surprise, as if he thought he had misheard her.

Last night when they went to bed, she still had her back to him. Although after falling asleep, she unconsciously snuggled into his arms.

She didn’t know how much he resented her last night when she snuggled into his arms, the urge to tear her apart and devour her surrounded him completely.

But her skin was so delicate, her sleeping appearance so dreamlike that he dared not make any improper moves, fearing he would alert her and cause her to withdraw again.

Qin Mu noticed Mu Yichen’s annoyance, but she had no chance to ask him anything else. By the time they reached the twentieth floor, someone unexpectedly entered their high-rise elevator, and both of them looked displeased at the person interrupting their private moment.

Zhao Huai was also shocked to see them: ”This early in the morning, you two...”

”And you? Why are you here so early?”

Qin Mu couldn’t help but ask him curiously.

”Oh! I have a small matter.”

Zhao Huai explained, looking a bit unhappy. However, he lowered his head before curiously raising his eyes to look at the couple: ”What are you two doing here? Isn’t the bed at home good enough?”

Qin Mu...

Mu Yichen had his hands in his pockets, but his legs were quite agile, raising his foot to kick the back of Zhao Huai’s knee. Zhao Huai realized he had said something wrong but still yelped in pain.

Qin Mu glanced at Zhao Huai, thinking: Serves you right!

Zhao Huai felt wronged to death, but did not dare to make another sound. When they reached the top floor, Mu Yichen and Zhao Huai got off, and Qin Mu went to the rooftop terrace.

It was already crowded with people busy setting up the runway. Luo Li hadn’t arrived yet, but Fan Qing had already come with other colleagues; seeing her from a distance, he simply nodded as a greeting. Qin Mu looked elsewhere, noticing several people from her studio were there too, earnestly discussing something with the staff.

Xiaomei ran up from downstairs and went up to Qin Mu as soon as she saw her there: ”Didn’t expect you to arrive so early.”

”You got here way earlier than me, right?”

Qin Mu looked at Xiaomei, remembering Zhao Huai saying he had a small matter, and the twentieth floor was the guest room department. Could it be that the young couple stayed here last night?

Qin Mu couldn’t help but think, being young is great, with so much passion.

”Hehe! I was afraid work would be delayed!”

Xiaomei laughed with her, making light of it. Qin Mu said nothing, but rarely smiled, then looked at the backdrop being set up.

”Let’s get to work, let’s go downstairs to see the fashion!”

Qin Mu said, then turned to walk back down, this time not heading to the elevator, but to the stairway. She wasn’t sure what Xiaomei had told Jiudian, but on the floor where Mu Zong’s office was, the room at the far end had been appropriated by Xiaomei as a storage for their clothes and also served as a changing room.

Qiu Xiang was already there assisting David and another designer in altering measurements for the models. Qin Mu watched for a while, carefully inspecting each outfit for this show, then asked Xiaomei, ”Why didn’t you bring over the clothes sent from Paris a few days ago?”

”We’re bringing those too?”

Xiaomei was momentarily stunned, then asked.

”Not bringing them here, why did I bother to have them sent from so far away?”

Qin Mu glanced at her, questioning her train of thought.

”Uh! I’ll call right away!”

Xiaomei said as she immediately took out her phone to call the studio. Qin Mu stepped out and saw Luo Li coming out of the elevator.

”I finally found you, just went up and heard you came down here. Shall we find a place to sit and discuss the upcoming plans?”
