His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1726: Chapter 483: Why Does Daddy Always Bite You? (2)

The next day, Qin Mu lay in bed, feeling weak all over, unable to complain.

Mu Yichen finished washing up and came out, lying beside her and gently stroking her delicate arm, murmuring: ”Was my service last night satisfactory?”

”Her Highness is very pleased! You may leave now!”

Qin Mu bit her teeth, showing a huge contrast between one sentence and the next.

Mr. Mu wasn’t angry at all, instead he laughed happily: ”Tonight I will continue to perform well. I have something to do, I need to go out early, I won’t accompany you for breakfast, okay?”

”What is it?”

Qin Mu finally decided to open her eyes, suddenly asking him seriously.

”I’ll tell you when I come back!”

Mu Yichen saw she was no longer angry with him, yet he didn’t satisfy her curiosity.

Qin Mu felt uneasy as he left, lying in bed thinking about it. She always suspected Mr. Mu was hiding something big from her, and it was related to her.

But Mu Yichen mentioned yesterday that he wouldn’t pursue the gossip issue anymore, so what else could it be?

Qin Mu rolled around in bed, unable to figure it out, and then got up.

The gifts for everyone have been distributed last night, only the items Ms. Mu asked her to buy remained. After breakfast, Qin Mu planned to go to the studio, stopping by the courier company to send the package to her.

——

Upon arriving at the studio, she parked the car in the parking lot. As soon as she got out, she felt someone watching her from the surroundings.

Brother Hang was given a holiday during the New Year by both her and Mu Yichen, and hadn’t returned yet. Qin Mu wondered if it was her imagination, she paid attention, then lowered her head and entered the studio.

It had been such a long time since anyone came by; even she hadn’t been around for a while, so upon opening the door she went upstairs to put down her bag. Then she looked around, thought for a while, and walked back out, looking at the empty first floor, she sighed deeply, thinking that when everyone returns, everything must be clean, so...

The entire morning, she was immersed in the joyful atmosphere of cleaning the studio and even chose an old love song to play. Sometimes while mopping the floor, she’d suddenly hold the mop and start dancing.

When she heard the door sound, she turned her head and saw Helian Hao standing at the door, looking at her helplessly.

”I say, Mrs. Mu, this isn’t work for you to be doing, can’t you just call a cleaning company?”

Helian Hao stood with her hands on her hips, showing a look of speechlessness, reminding Qin Mu.

”Then what should I do? I’m free anyway, and since Mrs. Jing is here too, why not lend a hand!”

The joy of cleaning...

Indeed, it is something worth reminiscing about.

”I don’t have the mindset of looking for work on my own!”

Helian Hao protested verbally, yet she took off her coat, gently placed it on the table, and rolled up her sleeves to help.

”Oh dear! I originally came to chat with you!”

Helian Hao said while working.

”Let’s talk then, isn’t this the best way? We didn’t have a chance to go to college together, missed out on all the times to clean together, now we can make up for it!”

Qin Mu was really engrossed in working, explaining while busy with Helian Hao.

”Does going to college together mean we’ll only clean together? Why don’t you miss the college life of dating and eating in the dining hall together?”

Helian Hao glanced puzzledly at the woman not far from her.

Even Qin Mu found it odd, she couldn’t help but laugh, thinking it’s probably because she’s just cleaning.

Actually, there are indeed so many things one wants to do together.

Qin Mu raised her eyes to look at her, having a feeling of eternity.

Helian Hao felt a bit uncomfortable being seen unexpectedly.

”If we were in college together, we’d definitely date! The two of us!”

Qin Mu said to Helian Hao.

”Pfft! Am I crazy, to date you?”

”Who else would you date? Jing Feng would surely wait for you at the school gate every day!”

”If it were you there, we would definitely apply to schools in another city! Then he couldn’t keep an eye on me!”

Helian Hao said, thinking of things she had imagined when applying to college.

Qin Mu suddenly went quiet for a while, she had thought that her life only consisted of Mu Yichen.

But one day she suddenly realized, Helian Hao had always envisaged her in Helian Hao’s own life.

”If we applied to colleges in other cities together, those two men would surely go crazy!”

After a while of silence, Qin Mu laughed and said.

”Yeah! Maybe they would even visit us together each time!”
