His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1715: Chapter 480: The Beginning and the End (25)_2

Qin Mu didn’t expect him to act like this, suddenly finding herself at a loss.

With the foam from her lips, he even went on to kiss her snowy white neck, which quickly turned red. Qin Mu tilted her head back, gasping for breath, her hands tightly clutching behind his ears.

After being satisfied, Mu Yichen still held her legs up, not letting go, as he kept panting.

Qin Mu could feel the anger still lingering in his breath, but she didn’t care, because she herself was exhausted to death. Her legs felt numb, as if putting them down would hurt to death, but not putting them down would tire her to death.

”When exactly is she going to give birth?”

Mu Yichen asked her softly, struggling to catch his breath.

”How would I know such things? Natural birth is unpredictable. Have you forgotten about Chengcheng?”

”Chengcheng was an accident!”

Mu Yichen remembered Chengcheng because something happened with Qin Mu, which led to Chengcheng being born early.

”But this sort of thing is still unpredictable!”

Qin Mu said.

When a woman is about to give birth, she’ll show signs beforehand. Once there are signs, it happens quickly, but who knows when those signs will appear? Some women drag on for a month or half a month, while others give birth before their due date.

Right now, Xiao Wei looked like she was about to collapse, but the child didn’t seem to intend on coming out just yet...

”Do you think the baby is waiting for Jian Yan to come back before being born?”

Qin Mu suddenly had a strange thought.

”What a jinx!”

Mu Yichen frowned even more. He didn’t want to wait for Jian Yan to come back for Xiao Wei to have the baby. Who knows how long that would take?

”If you had kept helping me look, maybe we would’ve found him earlier, and we wouldn’t have to be here accompanying Xiao Wei for the delivery. In the end, it’s partly your fault too.”

Qin Mu, seeing how unhappy he was, thought about it and started blaming him.

”Who said I stopped helping you find him? I’ve been digging three feet deep and he still hasn’t shown up!”

Mu Yichen looked down at Qin Mu, patiently speaking to her.

Qin Mu...

”By the time he comes back, we’d better already be gone, or just wait and see!”

Mu Yichen thought to himself, if he saw Jian Yan, he’d beat him until he’s toothless.

Qin Mu...

It was a blatant threat. Qin Mu thought, what do you want to do? Let’s see what you can do to my mentor!

Mu Yichen raised his hand, pressing the back of her head to his lips, giving a light kiss and unconsciously sighing softly: ”I’ll go prepare breakfast for you two women!”

Seeing him accept his fate, Qin Mu couldn’t help but feel a warmth in her heart again, hugging him and greedily gazing at his face, she said: ”And a little one too!”

Mu Yichen’s dark eyes met her beautiful ones, and he chuckled softly: ”I know!”

Though resigned, he accepted.

After Mu Yichen left, Qin Mu still sat on the washbasin, pressing her hands on it while looking at the closed door, a warmth flowing through her heart, and she couldn’t help but laugh foolishly.

Mu Yichen, oh Mu Yichen! Such a warm man!

——

Three days later!

Qin Mu accompanied Xiao Wei to the hospital for a check-up. Holding a few sheets of paper, she accompanied her through various departments, and when they got to the EKG room, Xiao Wei suddenly felt unwell, holding onto the door frame.

”What’s wrong?”

Qin Mu was just about to speak to the doctor when she heard Xiao Wei’s breathing suddenly become labored. She looked down and saw her pale face, realizing instantly that something was wrong.

The doctor, who was originally focused on other materials, looked up at the sound and immediately stood up from his seat: ”She’s going into labor! Call the hospital!”

The assistant inside pulled back the curtain and came out, then immediately called the obstetrics department upon receiving the doctor’s order.

”What do I do? Am I really giving birth?”

Hearing the doctor’s words, Xiao Wei looked up nervously at Qin Mu.

”Don’t be afraid, giving birth is going to be very painful! I’ll be waiting outside the delivery room for you!”

Qin Mu became nervous too, but still reflexively comforted her.

Xiao Wei was in so much pain she looked like she was about to fall. The seemingly tall and thin male doctor rushed forward and picked her up: ”Follow me!”

So Qin Mu followed the doctor as he carried her out, the entire building echoing with their footsteps and Xiao Wei’s tense calls for Qin Mu’s name.

As she ran, Qin Mu was calling Mu Yichen: ”Come quickly, Xiao Wei is giving birth! At the hospital, the hospital!”

Qin Mu was flustered, the tension clear in her voice.

Mu Yichen was just about to drive home when he took Qin Mu’s call and immediately sped up.

When Mu Yichen reached the delivery room, Qin Mu had already been waiting there anxiously for a while. Hearing the heavy footsteps, she turned her head and saw Mu Yichen, feeling slightly relieved and immediately went over to him.

”How’s it going?”

Mu Yichen asked.
