His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1714: Chapter 480: The Beginning and the End (25)

”What about me?”

Mu Yichen was still leaning against the wall, frowning as he asked her softly.

”You, a strong big man, of course, can sleep on your own!”

Qin Mu deliberately played dumb.

”Hmph! A strong man can sleep alone? Didn’t I tell you that if a man is too healthy, he needs his woman to warm the bed every night?”

Mu Yichen helpfully reminded her.

Hearing his deep voice, Qin Mu knew he was unhappy. She walked forward, wrapped her arms around his slim waist, and looked up at him coyly.

”Just for these few days! You know that a pregnant woman can’t manage alone in the last days. Even just turning over is hard. Remember when I was pregnant with Chengcheng?”

Qin Mu appealed to his emotions.

”But when you were pregnant with Huanshuan, there was no one else around!”

Mu Yichen looked down at her, knowing she was trying to coax him, fully aware he had to agree, yet he was still displeased.

Honestly, although he wished Qin Mu would be a bit more pampered so he could have more chances to care for her, he still didn’t like women being too pampered.

”How could there be no one? Xiaomei was there!”

Qin Mu blinked.

Mu Yichen stayed silent, just staring at her deeply. He knew when she blinked, she was lying.

Qin Mu knew it was hard to deceive him, so she sighed softly and let him go: ”I don’t care about you anymore. I really need to go.”

But before she could leave, Mu Yichen pulled her back.

”You can leave, but only after you satisfy me!”

Mu Yichen’s voice was somewhat unsteady as he hugged her and carried her to bed.

Qin Mu...

Nearly an hour later, Qin Mu finally managed to satisfy Mu Yichen, took a shower, and went over to Xiao Wei’s bed.

Xiao Wei was still reading a parenting book, and she couldn’t help but chuckle when she saw Qin Mu coming over.

”Actually, I’m fine on my own!”

”Well, I’m just more at ease being here!”

Qin Mu sighed, thinking to herself that she wasn’t really used to sleeping with Xiao Wei either, but with the due date approaching, she couldn’t afford to be careless.

”No wonder Jian Yan likes you!”

Xiao Wei said softly, her eyes tenderly looking at Qin Mu.

Qin Mu chuckled: ”Don’t say such things in the future; what if the baby hears and thinks I’m a bad woman? A teacher for a day is a father for life. He’s the father, and although you’re a bit younger, you’re the mother too. Plus, I think Mu Yichen is the only man in the world I can love.”

Qin Mu felt particularly proud when she said the last sentence.

Xiao Wei couldn’t help but laugh at Qin Mu’s confidence, which she found quite admirable.

If Qin Mu didn’t have any other feelings for Jian Yan, she wouldn’t have agreed to come to Paris and take care of her.

”Coming to my room, Mu Yichen surely isn’t happy about that, right?”

”Him? As long as I’m not in his bed, he certainly isn’t happy. When I was having Chengcheng, he stayed with me too!”

Qin Mu said, the way Mu Yichen clings is not something ordinary people can compare to.

”It’s obvious he loves you very much!”

Xiao Wei commented.

”Loving me is true, and being clingy is also true. However, he used to act cool, ignoring me most of the time, sometimes coming to Paris with a bunch of excuses, only to leave after a few hours.”

”So how did you hide the fact you were pregnant?”

Xiao Wei asked her curiously.

”I didn’t see him!”

Qin Mu replied.

It wasn’t that hard to avoid someone if you set your mind to it.

But saying this, Qin Mu wondered who Jian Yan was avoiding.

Qin Mu suspected Jian Yan wasn’t avoiding Xiao Wei. Could it be her?

But she was far away in Rongcheng.

A sudden pang in her heart.

Alone in the room, Mu Yichen couldn’t sleep and felt miserable all night, so the next morning, he blocked Qin Mu in the bathroom when she was getting ready.

Qin Mu was still brushing her teeth and, before she could turn her head to see him, he pulled down her pajama pants.

”Mu Yichen!”

Her mouth was full of foam, her voice particularly muffled.

Mu Yichen knew what she wanted to say, pretended not to hear, and just continued with what he was doing.

”Stay with me in bed all day, okay?”

Mu Yichen mischievously whispered in her ear while doing his thing.

”Stop it, Xiao Wei is outside!”

”Do I care?”

Mu Yichen furrowed his brows and intensified his actions.

Although he still had some reservations in his heart and used some tricks to avoid awkwardness, he wouldn’t back down at all in his words.

Eventually, Qin Mu got angry too. After being lifted onto the bathroom counter by him, not caring about the foam in her mouth, she cupped his face and kissed him.

At first, Mu Yichen was still unhappy, but once the foam from her mouth got on him, in a matter of seconds, he became assertive again, teasing her lips with his tongue.
