His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1705: Chapter 477: The Beginning and the End (23)_4

He certainly didn’t want his wife to feel too much pressure. Originally, the trip to Paris was something she wanted to do alone, but she was afraid he’d overthink things, so she brought him along. If Mu Qingxin said too much, Qin Mu might regret it...

Mu Yichen thought about Qin Mu going to Paris and felt uncomfortable being alone in the empty house. Although winter had passed, spring couldn’t quite come, and he still felt cold.

”Sigh! How about this!”

Qin Mu was silent for a while, then suddenly turned to look at Mu Yichen.

However, she couldn’t bring herself to tell him not to go, because his dark eyes were looking at her, seemingly questioning her.

Qin Mu lowered her head again, but Mu Yichen said to her: ”I just happen to have some work to deal with in Paris these days!”

Qin Mu...

Mu Qingxin thought this excuse was too lame, right?

Jiang Yan was drinking tea all the time, listening to the three of them talk. He occasionally helped to pour the tea.

Qin Mu looked at Mu Yichen again, then smiled slightly: ”That’s perfect then!”

Forget it! The words have been said, there’s really no need to worry about it anymore. Being indecisive is not her style.

It’s just that if Feng Fanghua really had a knot in her heart, she truly felt sorry. After all, she had been trying to keep a warm and stable relationship with Feng Fanghua over the years.

Not long after, Mu Qingxin pulled Jiang Yan out, driving the car, and said to Jiang Yan on the road: ”I really can’t stand my brother sticking to Qin Mu like that, making him seem like a child.”

”Aren’t we always sticking together too! You have to understand, he pursued her for so many years and finally got the woman he wanted, it’s only right he cherishes her.”

Jiang Yan sat beside her, rarely explaining seriously to her.

”Hmph! It’s right, but I always find it strange! My brother only acts that way when he’s with her!”

At the end, Mu Qingxin felt a bit sour.

”What about me? Isn’t it only you who can make me change?”

Jiang Yan raised his hand, lightly pinching a strand of hair on her shoulder, murmuring softly to her.

Mu Qingxin rarely didn’t joke, but seriously looked at him in the rearview mirror, then bit her lip gently, focusing on driving.

In the face of love, everyone becomes a fool who doesn’t think about the consequences.

”The scenery of Rongcheng can never match ours!”

Jiang Yan later looked outside, his gaze carrying some sharpness.

”That’s what you think. In my view, the scenery of Rongcheng is the most beautiful!”

Mu Qingxin glanced at him while driving seriously, talking to him.

The corners of Jiang Yan’s lips slightly lifted. He didn’t deny it. People always have a certain expectation and illusion about their hometown.

——

Qin Mu still couldn’t get any news from Jian Yan, so she stayed at home with Mu Yichen, feeling a bit bored as she drew randomly on a piece of paper with no real picture.

Mu Yichen sat beside her, holding a teacup, lightly touching his knee, his sharp eyes staring at the drawing board on her lap, then suggested in a deep voice: ”Draw me!”

Qin Mu curiously turned to look at him, then smiled slightly: ”Draw you? How about drawing our son!”

Mu Yichen...

”Just pretend you’re drawing you as a child!”

Seeing him unhappy, Qin Mu quickly added, laughing even more joyfully.

”Hmph! Can’t you draw or don’t want to draw? You promised you’d make me an outfit but didn’t do it yourself, and now even though I agree to go to Paris with you, you can’t even draw me a portrait?”

Mu Yichen asked her lowly, a bit unhappy.

Qin Mu’s eyes moved, then she sighed helplessly, picked up another piece of drawing paper and clipped it to the board, all while starting to draw, she said: ”I don’t even know how many times I’ve drawn you. You always focus on my faults, think more about my merits!”

Mu Yichen watched her hand with the brush carefully, then looked at her profile. The sunlight was very faint and gloomy, making the lines of her face seem cool and thin.

He couldn’t help but get lost looking!

Qin Mu couldn’t hear his voice, suddenly turned her head to look at him, puzzled.

Mu Yichen leaned over to put down the teacup, then slowly moved toward her under her confused gaze.

Qin Mu instinctively tilted to the side, then her leg was slowly pulled open by him.

Qin Mu didn’t speak, just felt that under such an atmosphere, words weren’t suitable to spoil it.

Mu Yichen glanced at her quietly, looked into her clear big eyes, one hand holding her curvy back, the other gently on her chest.

Qin Mu was about to bend her knee but was restrained by him.

Her mouth, before making a sound, was blocked by him.

It was just a few seconds of a domineering bite, followed by tender, cherishable kisses, softly, lingering.

Qin Mu felt her soft lips being gently cared for by him, unconsciously holding in her breath.

——

In the evening, Feng Fanghua called Qin Mu into the room alone to talk. Qin Mu promised that she’d rush back as soon as Xiao Wei had the baby, which made Feng Fanghua relieved. The next morning, they boarded a plane to Paris together.

They were on Mu Yichen’s private jet. Before the plane took off, Qin Mu sent another message to Jian Yan: ”Master! Mu Yichen and I are now rushing to Paris to accompany Xiao Wei for her delivery. Please, once you get this message, come back to Paris immediately!”

Mu Yichen also sent a message to Jian Yan: ”If you don’t come back soon, I’ll send your child a stepdad right away!”

After sending the message, Qin Mu turned her head and saw the number Mu Yichen was sending to looked like Jian Yan’s, so she immediately leaned over. Mu Yichen, however, put on a serious face and quickly put away his phone: ”Don’t peek!”

”What did you send to Jian Yan?”

Qin Mu asked him with furrowed brows!
