Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 922, Fifth Profession Change, Dragon Master!

Translator: Silavin

Lu Fan’s Fifth Profession was called ‘Dragon Master’.

Just two words, yet it radiated unparalleled dominance.

After all, being able to add the character ‘Master’ after ‘Dragon’ was something many would not even dare to imagine.

Also, Lu Fan’s Fifth Profession Change had only granted him one Skill.

However, this single skill made Lu Fan gasp.

Ruler of Dragons (Active Skill, Lv1)—When activated, increases Self and Pet Dragons’ All Four Attributes by tenfold.

Again, it was a simple name, with a simple description.

But the words, ‘All Four Attributes by tenfold’, made Lu Fan’s breathing quicken!

Ten times his current Attributes!

Combined with Xiao Cui’s various Buffs, wouldn’t the increase approach nearly a hundredfold?!

Giant Dragons were already among the world’s strongest creatures.

Increasing a Giant Dragon’s Combat Power a hundredfold… would anyone else have any chance of survival?!

Lu Fan even suspected that after becoming a Dragon Master, even without an Ancient God Divine Seat, he could still challenge the Ancient Gods!

After all, an Eternal Phase Giant Dragon with tenfold strength increase, plus himself as Dragon Tamer and Xiao Cui’s Support Skills… their combined might would surpass any Divine Being in this world.

Only Ancient Gods could possibly match such power!

[Fifth Profession Skills are truly domineering!]

Lu Fan was thoroughly satisfied.

Now, he had even greater confidence in dealing with the Ancient Gods.

As long as it was not something like the Fallen Corpse Ancient God, with an extremely high degree of awakening, capable of acting independently, any of the not-fully-awakened Ancient God posed absolutely no threat to Lu Fan.

Xiao Ye and the others’ Levels were not that high yet. So, they could not fully utilise such a Buff.

But he still had the Devouring Dragon King, an Eternal Phase. She could be considered a top-tier combatant Giant Dragon!

Using Ruler of Dragons to have the Devouring Dragon King’s Attribute increase by tenfold, Lu Fan felt like he now had a shot against the Fallen Corpse Ancient God.

However, once this thought emerged, Lu Fan quickly extinguished it.

Recalling the Fallen Corpse Ancient God’s single devastating strike, Lu Fan decided that he would wait until he reached Level 130 before seeking out that terrifying existence. It should not be too late by then.

It was the previous God King, after all. The respect it deserved should still be given.

After settling everything here, Lu Fan sat on a large rock, retrieving food, water, and a stack of documents from his Inventory.

While eating and drinking, he reviewed the materials Jin Zhan had provided.

Jin Zhan had supplied coordinates for seven Forbidden Areas potentially containing Divine Beings.

The recently killed Flame God was Lu Fan’s third target.

To Level Up quickly, Lu Fan needed to quickly find the next Divine Being to hunt.

“This next one is relatively close to my current location. I can make it my next target.” Lu Fan quickly decided on his next destination.

Just as he planned to depart after finishing his meal, his Communication Stone suddenly transmitted a signal.

Lu Fan’s heart stirred. He retrieved the Communication Stone, establishing a connection with Jin Zhan on the other end.

“Brother Jin, what’s happened? Another Ancient God lead?” The most likely reason for Jin Zhan to contact Lu Fan was discovering the movement of another Ancient God.

Jin Zhan, characteristically direct, replied. “Yes. Moreover, this intelligence we’ve just received is of extreme importance. We suspect the number of Ancient Gods discovered this time totals three!”

“Three!?” Even Lu Fan was somewhat shocked.

Previously, there had been no such grand gathering.

Now, suddenly three Ancient Gods appeared simultaneously?!

Sensing Lu Fan’s disbelief, Jin Zhan continued. “Correct, three Ancient Gods. They are at a High Level Map called the Earth Tripartite. This Map is divided into three sections, where each area is completely different from the other two.”

“No Monsters are visible, but for some reason, anyone who enters has never returned alive. According to our scouts, the Earth Tripartite doesn’t seem to contain any Divine Beings. So, the only possibility is Ancient Gods.”

“Since we’re both Ancient Gods, we know Ancient God Power is relatively easy to detect. I had someone use an Array to briefly transport me there for three minutes. Through my perception, Ancient God Power definitely exists there, and it is three distinct types of Ancient God Power.”

“That’s why I say the suspected number of Ancient Gods there totals three! Moreover, their degree of awakening is definitely low. I used spiritual threads to briefly search the Earth Tripartite and did not get a sense of danger. In fact, they concealed themselves even more deeply. It is clear they are afraid of being noticed.”

“Ancient Gods rarely form alliances, let alone three together. So my theory is that these three Ancient Gods likely encountered some trouble in the previous era, causing their awakening speed in this era to lag far behind the other Ancient Gods. Helpless, they could only band together and hide together in one location.”

Lu Fan considered this, then replied. “That is indeed plausible. Regardless, since you’ve sensed Ancient God Power there, even if there aren’t any Ancient Gods in the Earth Tripartite Map, there should at least be clues. We definitely need to investigate.”

Jin Zhan laughed. “Haha, precisely my thinking!”

After a pause, Jin Zhan added. “But, this Map’s location is somewhat sensitive. For us to go there, it requires some preparation first.”

“Oh? Why’s that?” Lu Fan asked, puzzled.

Jin Zhan replied. “Because this Map is formerly in Cherry Blossom Country.”

Lu Fan immediately understood.

Cherry Blossom Country had become a nation in name only. Previously, Kage Mako and Kage Tenshi, this pair of Master and Disciple, had travelled to Shadow Isle to battle Lu Fan, resulting in their complete annihilation.

Afterwards, Lu Fan had caused Cherry Blossom Country’s complete destruction. The nation was essentially removed from existence.

Though Cherry Blossom Country itself was gone, its territory was not. It had become something akin to a colony, managed by Dragon Country. Of course, its citizens still remained there.

After Dragon Country took over Cherry Blossom Country, no forceful measures were taken to eliminate the natives. This was just in line with how Dragon Country ran with its humanitarian principles,

Thus, though Cherry Blossom Country ceased existing as a country, the people’s lives did not differ much from before.

That said, Cherry Blossom Country remained extremely sensitive towards Dragon Country. Any big shots that came over were sure to attract much unwanted attention, if not fear.

Silavin: Removed some text at the end, because it talks about taming a country like a dog. Doesn’t even make much sense.

‘Any big shots that came over were sure to attract much unwanted attention, if not fear…’ – I added this in to make it make more sense.
