Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 902, Third Form! World Destroyer!

Translator: Silavin

Starfire Stream’s ultimate strike naturally possessed considerable might.

After being hit by Dragon Dance, the continuous slashes left the Darkness Ancient God with no ability to fight back.

Its crimson armour shattered, and wails rang out continuously.

At the same time, its body was continuously bombarded by the slashes, falling from high altitude, plummeting into the bottomless hole, completely swallowed by darkness.

Seeing the Darkness Ancient God fall back into the hole, Lu Fan was about to lead his Pet Dragons in pursuit to completely kill it off and seize its Divine Seat.

However, just as Lu Fan was about to charge down with his Pet Dragons, suddenly a sense of crisis made him instantly halt and rapidly retreat!

The next second, an incomparably surging darkness erupted from the hole, shooting straight towards the sky!

The originally bright sky seemed to have shattered, instantly covered by darkness.

In an instant, the Sun and Moon lost their light. It was as if the entire world had fallen into the eternal night, where darkness consumed everything in the world!

With just the Darkness Ancient God’s power alone, it naturally could not turn the entire world into a sunless dark realm. Unless it could obtain the title of God King in this era’s Ancient Gods Struggle For Supremacy, only then it would possess the ability to alter the Principle of time and the World Mechanics.

The Darkness Ancient God must have spread the darkness, covering everything within sight. It was an area roughly the size of a small country.

But even so, with the world instantly plunged into darkness, the people of Sandy Breeze City panicked.

This sudden change made everyone in Sandy Breeze City think the apocalypse was coming.

More people surged towards the Transfer Arrays, wanting to escape to other cities.

However, at this moment, everyone discovered that Transport Arrays could not be used!

It seemed that within this darkness-shrouded area, Space Principles were in complete disorder. In short, they were in a severed space, separate from the outside world. So, Space Principle related tools like Transport Arrays and Teleportation Scrolls could not be used.

With this, those trapped in Sandy Breeze City became even more desperate. Wails rang out endlessly.

Everyone felt that death had come too suddenly.

Sandy Breeze City descended into chaos, and at the location where Lu Fan was fighting the Darkness Ancient God, he too was shocked.

Because he could clearly sense that after the Darkness Ancient God was hit by his Dragon Dance. Clearly, its aura had plummeted rapidly, and it was obviously seriously injured.

But now, after falling into the hole, its aura had rebounded, rising at a suffocating speed!

[Seriously!? This Darkness Ancient God still has a Third Stage!? This will be somewhat tricky..].

Lu Fan could not help but find it difficult, because the Darkness Ancient God’s Second Stage just now had already been quite formidable. He and his Pet Dragons together, without restraining their strength in the slightest, had gone all out to Deal Damage. Even the Starfire Stream had been broken, and only then had they suppressed the Darkness Ancient God.

And now, the Darkness Ancient God’s strength was rising continuously, several times its previous level. Now, it directly surpassed that of Lu Fan!

If Lu Fan had his Sixth Profession Change, he might still be able to battle the Third Stage Darkness Ancient God. However, Lu Fan was currently only at his Fourth Profession Change. He was still two or three levels away from his Fifth Profession Change.

Wanting to deal with the next Stage of the Darkness Ancient God was obviously going to be somewhat difficult.

As if to confirm Lu Fan’s thoughts, from the surging hole filled with black water, a massive body suddenly flew out!

This time, the Darkness Ancient God’s appearance had changed again.

Its entire body had lost the restraint of the crimson armour, becoming even more unbridled.

Its form had now completely transformed into something like an insect, yet different from any known insect or Monster.

Looking at it, it resembled a fusion of ants, scorpions, rhinoceros beetles and other insects. On its body, one could find characteristics of many insects.

Its body had no armour but was composed of bloody, raw flesh. It did not appear as defensive as when covered in armour before.

However, Lu Fan could almost certainly confirm that the Darkness Ancient God’s current Defence was worlds apart from earlier.

There was an abdomen like a worm’s, bloated and ugly. There were several thick limbs growing from it. Each limb resembled a blade, gleaming with black light. Behind it, those wings woven from light had also disappeared. Replacing them were countless hair-like strands that moved of their own accord like water plants. Each strand was as thick as an arm, reaching lengths of several hundred metres.

Such an existence made one feel eerie and terrified.

[This is the Darkness Ancient God’s Third Form!?]

The Abyssal Ancient God’s True Form, which Lu Fan had seen earlier, was not half as nauseous as this.

What made one’s heart turn cold was that the current Darkness Ancient God seemed to have completely lost all rationality. After appearing in its Third Form, spiritual vibrations continuously poured outward without cease.

But when these spiritual vibrations reached Lu Fan’s mind, they were all illogical roars and howls.

Clearly, the Darkness Ancient God had now completely lost all rationality, operating purely on instinct.

Instinct to slaughter!

If the current Darkness Ancient God could not be dealt with, it would inevitably use this place as a starting point to slaughter madly until its power was exhausted and it fell from its Third Form back to its Second or First Form.

By then the entire world would be facing a disaster.

Lu Fan naturally could not just flee and allow such a terrifying being to rampage through Feather Country.

Feather Country’s destruction was not frightening. What was frightening was that what it would likely destroy was the entire world.

[This Ancient God had to be killed today!] Lu Fan no longer had a suitable weapon, so he simply made Xing Chen beneath him the Main Damage Dealer.

His role was to provide Attributes to Xing Chen and use Bloodline Sharing Awakening to stimulate the Bloodline Power within Xing Chen.

Just as Lu Fan was about to order Xing Chen to attack the Darkness Ancient God, the opponent moved faster than him.

It suddenly charged forward. Its mantis-like scythe upper limbs slashing down at his head!

Lu Fan could clearly sense that if this strike landed on his head, he and Xing Chen would likely be split in two!

“Xing Chen, Starlight Armour!” In his urgency, Lu Fan immediately commanded Xing Chen to release her Defensive Skill.

Starlight Armour was akin to an enhanced version of Holy Light Protection—A Guardian Knight Skill. It could make Xing Chen enter an Invulnerability State, Immune to all attacks.

Xing Chen had received power from the Starry Sky Ancestor. So, all her Skills were maxed out. Thus, her Starlight Armour was far stronger than Holy Light Protection.
