Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 74, Great Cataclysm

Everyone was discussing enthusiastically, all believing that once Lu Fan cleared the Sky Scaling Tower, he would receive at least three Gold items. After all, the rewards from the Sky Scaling Tower were related to ones score.

Now, Lu Fan’s score has reached a terrifying 860,000 points. By the end of the major exam, with the time bonus added, breaking one million points was a certainty.

With such a high score, likely breaking the all-time record for the major exam, receiving three Gold items seemed reasonable.

Three Gold items would definitely be worth over 100 million Dragon Coins. Even the old principals could no’t help but envy Lu Fan.

As the old principals were discussing heatedly, Qian Xiong, who had been mostly silent, suddenly said, “This Dragon Tamer has already passed the ninety-ninth floor and is now preparing to enter the hundredth floor to challenge the final floor. It seems I’m truly lucky today to witness history.”

After Qian Xiong finished speaking, everyone present was shocked, [He cleared it?! So quickly?!]

The iron wall set before the last floor of Nightmare difficulty was as fragile as paper before Lu Fan. He cleared in just a few minutes!

Everyone looked at the small screen and indeed saw that the Black Dragon had already crushed three World-Destroying Headless Knights, while Lu Fan’s Dragon Claw had crushed one into scrap metal.

The gap in strength was too large, and with Xiao Ye having two Crowd Control Skills like Earth Splitter and Frightening Roar, even the Apocalyptic Headless Four Knights could not stop them.

After killing these four Level 35 Nightmare Bosses, the massive amount of Experience Points allowed both Lu Fan and Xiao Ye to Level Up again, making Lu Fan want to shout out loud, ‘Yes!’

Where else could you find such a good opportunity to Level Up five times in a row for both himself and Xiao Ye?

Moreover, Lu Fan also knew that once he cleared the major exam, there would be Completion Rewards, just like clearing any other Secret Realm.

Lu Fan was quite looking forward to the Completion Reward.

After the golden light on Xiao Ye’s body flickered, Xiao Ye’s body grew a bit larger. At the same time, Lu Fan saw a flash of flame inside Xiao Ye’s body, which soon returned to normal.

Lu Fan and Xiao Ye had Bloodline Sharing and were in sync. He immediately felt that as Xiao Ye reached Level 15, there were changes in her Attributes.

Opening Xiao Ye’s Attribute Panel, Lu Fan was immediately overjoyed.

Apart from the surge in Attributes, the biggest difference was that Xiao Ye had gained a new Skill in her Destruction Dragon Form!

Destruction Dragon Form: Strength Attribute halved, Mana Attribute doubled. Gain new Skills (Flame Annihilation, Magma Burst and Great Cataclysm)
Great Cataclysm (Active Skill, LV1) – Black Dragon King, Deathwing, flies into the sky, diving down to cause horrific damage while igniting the area it passes through.

Just looking at the name and description, Lu Fan felt that the power of this Great Cataclysm Skill to be above Flame Annihilation and Magma Burst!

Xiao Ye’s strength had undoubtedly increased another notch.

Lu Fan looked up at the majestic Xiao Ye. Although this Baby Dragon now had a huge body of nearly ten metres, her personality was still naughty. Noticing Lu Fan’s gaze, she raised her head, as though saying ‘I’m the best’.

Lu Fan could not help but smile, patting Xiao Ye’s Dragon Claw, complementing “As expected of Xiao Ye, you’ve learned another powerful Skill. Next is the last floor of the major exam. Shall we push through in one go and get the Completion Reward?”

“Ang!” Xiao Ye raised her head and roared, as if enthusiastically saying ‘Yes.’

Lu Fan thought for a moment and decided to let Xiao Ye fight freely on the hundredth floor.

Although he had chosen the Nightmare difficulty, Lu Fan had not felt like he encountered any real obstacle along the way. He had cleared everything just relying on Xiao Ye’s World Destroyer Form.

In the end, he had not even used the Destruction Dragon Form.

They were about to clear the major exam. Before leaving, they might as well test the power of her Destruction Dragon Form.

Moreover, Lu Fan also wanted to see what kind of power Xiao Ye’s Great Cataclysm Skill had when going all out.

“Xiao Ye, try your Destruction Dragon Form!” At Lu Fan’s command, Xiao Ye immediately complied.

She flapped her wings in mid-air, and flames immediately burst out from beneath her originally pitch-black scales, instantly enveloping her body.

For a moment, Xiao Ye transformed into a huge fireball, as dazzling as the sun.

After a while, the flames receded, but Xiao Ye’s form had already changed.

Now Xiao Ye’s body was streamlined, not as muscular as before, but more agile.

The black scales on her body now emitted a red glow like hot iron, and her huge wings were now burning with raging flames. With each flap, flames scattered.

If Xiao Ye in the World Destroyer Form was like a heavy sword without a blade, swinging unstoppably, She was now like a piece of scorching hot meteorite from outer space. Forget touching, even approaching would risk being vaporised by the high temperature.

Now, Xiao Ye’s Mana has directly soared to 4800 points. A simple Lava Blaze was probably be like a forbidden spell. What kind of power would Great Cataclysm have in this Form?

Lu Fan was looking forward to it.
