However, since he was a student from Jianghai Third Academy, it was assumed that Bai Hengjian, the principal of Jianghai Third Academy, should know something about him.

Many of them looked towards Bai Hengjian. The principal of First Academy even spoke with a sarcastic tone, “Heh, it seems Jianghai Third Academy has a promising student this year. But Old Bai, you’re not being very forthright. You’ve been hiding someone that even City Lord Qin values. You’ve been keeping us in the dark until now. You should tell us properly, what abilities does this student called Lu Fan have? What Hidden Profession did he get?”

Bai Hengjian was confused and told everyone, “I do know him. In every exam, he is always the top student. But, the Profession he got is Dragon Tamer. It is universally acknowledged as a useless Profession. City Lord Qin, why are you paying so much attention to him?”

As soon as Lu Fan was identified as a Dragon Tamer, the other principals immediately understood.

Although Lu Fan’s name was not famous, his Profession, Dragon Tamer, was a topic of discussion for many people.

Bai Hengjian was right. Since Lu Fan was just a Dragon Tamer, even he had to question why Qin Shanhai said he had the potential to compete for South Province’s top spot?

Suddenly, everyone fell into deep thought.

At this moment, Lu Fan, who had not entered the Sky Scaling Tower yet, suddenly moved. He turned into a stream of light and entered the vortex in the sky.

Everyone’s gaze focused on him, and they saw Lu Fan’s information being displayed.

Jianghai Third Academy student, Lu Fan, Level 15 Dragon Tamer, chosen question difficulty – Nightmare!
*Siii* Sounds of sharp intakes could be heard all around. None of the principals had expected that in Jianghai City, someone would choose the Nightmare difficulty!

Although Nightmare difficulty was available in the major exam, everyone knew that generally, no one would choose it. After all, in the Nightmare difficulty, not only would the number of Monsters increase, but they were also far stronger.

The difficulty levels of the major exam questions were not in a linear progression. Rather, they were exponential. Easy, Normal, Difficult, and Terror, these four levels did have a more gradual increase. However, once it reached Nightmare, the difficulty would suddenly spike by several levels!

If one were to compare, in Blue Star, this difference was similar to the gap between ordinary University entrance exam questions and Olympic questions.

Originally, Nightmare difficulty was not prepared for ordinary students, but for those who could be called freaks – geniuses who could easily pass the Terror difficulty. After all, the Sky Scaling Tower only had 100 floors. Some could only reach the 99th floor and that would be it. However, there were those who could reach the 100th floor, and was limited by it because the Sky Scaling Tower only had 100 floors.

To better differentiate and reflect the strength of these geniuses, Nightmare difficulty came into being.

It was so difficult that ordinary students might not even pass the first level.

Therefore, in previous years’ major exams, everyone basically assumed Nightmare difficulty was not an option. They would choose Terror difficulty and treat it as the most difficult instead.

Even in South Province, the number of students who dared to start with the Nightmare difficulty major exam did not exceed one hand.

Nevertheless, Lu Fan still chose the Nightmare difficulty. Either he was deliberately seeking death, or he was so strong that the other difficulty did not catch his eye.

The principals were all shocked and started discussing: “This… in our Jianghai City, someone actually dares to choose Nightmare difficulty? Isn’t he too overconfident? Although this is the major exam, if you die in the Sky Scaling Tower, you really die.”

“I remember eight years ago, there was a genius in our Jianghai City who should have had a bright future. He was too arrogant and chose the Nightmare difficulty. As a result, he was eaten by Monster Projections on the 36th floor, dying a miserable death, haaa…”

“This is too reckless! Haven’t the teachers at Jianghai Third Academy explained the rules for the major exam? Anyone who dares to choose the Nightmare difficulty must go through numerous tests, confirming they have the qualifications to challenge Nightmare difficulty before being allowed to choose it? I haven’t heard of an expert being specifically invited to Jianghai City this year to assess a candidate’s Combat Power.”

Some principals thought further. They frowningly questioned, “Could it be that Jianghai Third Academy really produced a freakish genius?”

“Didn’t we all see that this Dragon Tamer, Lu Fan, has already reached Level 15? If he was not strong, how could he have Levelled Up so quickly?”

“That’s right, since the Profession Change Ceremony until now, it has just been a short seven days. Being able to go from Level 10 to Level 15 is something even geniuses could not do. Unless, many really strong experts had helped him Level Up, or they killed several Bosses.”

“We haven’t heard of any prestigious Lu Family in our Jianghai City. Looking at his clothes, he’s not from a merchant Family either. So there’s only one explanation, he relied on his own strength and skills to Level Up in the Wilderness to reach Level 15.”

“But isn’t that too fast? How is that possible? Haaa… Are you saying, this Dragon Tamer called Lu Fan, could he…”

One principal thought of a possibility.

As soon as he spoke, everyone’s faces were filled with disbelief.
