Chapter 493: Chapter 211, The Might of the Great Demon_2

”For the Lady!” The knights of Brittania felt no fear, and under the leadership of the Holy Grail Knights, they braced themselves with courage.

A large group of Brittania knights thus launched a fierce clash with the Chaos Knights. Blades cut through the air, cavalry lances pierced, warhorses neighed, and knights continually fell to the ground. The knights used sharp swords to slay the Chaos Knights, while the evil weapons of the Chaos Knights also pierced into the knights’ bodies.

Ultimately, the knights held an overwhelming advantage in numbers. Over thirty Chaos Knights were overwhelmed by hundreds of knights, and Brittania suffered over fifty knight casualties.

The sacrifice of the Chaos Knights was not in vain; except for the Holy Grail Knights and the White Wolf Knights who continued their forward charge, most of the knights were forced to slow down as Chaos Warriors and Chaos Chosen Warriors charged towards them from all directions, spreading the knights out and confronting these followers of the Evil God in combat.

”Advance!” The remaining dozen Holy Grail Knights, along with a combination of several dozen White Wolf Knights and Cheetah Knights, rushed towards the location of the Chaos Great Demon. The Holy Grail Knights swore to bring this evil incarnation to death and offer victory to their Lady.

”Huh!” Laine’s warhammer came down, one Chaos Warrior after another fell under his warhammer. He kicked the face of a Chaos Chosen Warrior, his sturdy warhammer blocked the scorching long halberd attacking from the side, Laine twisted his body, avoiding the sneak attack of the Long Spear, Goddess of Revenge unsheathed, two Chaos Warriors died under the Goddess of Revenge.

Amidst the battle, White Wolf Prince-Elector Boris suddenly felt his Prince-Elector’s Holy Sword emit a resonance, as if something was calling to the Holy Sword.

He simply did not have the time to think much, as the Great Nurgle Demon made its move.

”Mortal, face death!” The Wound Master swung its giant sword, indiscriminately slashing down from the air, splitting a White Wolf Knight and three Chaos Warriors in two.

”Scatter!” Holy Grail Knight Commander Eugene shouted toward the running Holy Grail Knights, Laine nodded to Lorne who was fighting on horseback nearby with the Nurgle Army, the Holy Grail Knights attempted to scatter in search of opportunities.

”Annoying, die!” The Wound Master noticed the commanding Eugene Knight Commander, it immediately pulled from its burst-open belly and oil-dripping intestines a rust-corroded chain, grabbing its thick hand and holding the chain, with several skulls dangling at the front of the chain.

The chain was thrown with impeccable precision towards Eugene Knight Commander, even the mighty Legendary High-Tier Grail Knight couldn’t dodge it. Eugene’s body was entangled by the chain, and in a scream he was flung away by the Great Nurgle Demon, crashing into two charging Holy Grail Knights. The Wound Master swung the chain, flinging three Holy Grail Knights into the air, flying toward the distance.

”Evil Ulcer Missile!” Then the Wound Master reached out its large hand, a corrosive energy orb appeared out of thin air, radiating decay light across the battlefield; it slightly controlled the orb to fly towards Laine and Lorne’s position, the orb of over five meters in diameter exploded in front of Laine.

”Neigh, neigh, neigh!” The huge green orb made even the Pure-blooded Elf Warhorse Grape fearful. Laine felt that the corrosive energy within was something he absolutely couldn’t confront directly, so he pulled the reins for an emergency turn.

It was still slightly too late; the blast’s aftermath flipped Laine and Grape together, along with nearby Duke of Connet Lorne. Immediately, the two Holy Grail Knights found themselves surrounded by countless Chaos Warriors.

”Uh ah!” As the Wound Master was about to cast a spell again, a brave Holy Grail Knight proclaimed the name of the Lake Fairy. His magically-inflicted blade carved a notch into the Great Demon’s thick leg.

The attack from the Holy Grail Knight was ultimately not something ordinary knights could compare to. Even the Great Nurgle Demon felt a bone-deep pain as it roared in anger, smashing the Holy Grail Knight and his mount into the ground, then grabbed the Holy Grail Knight, about to tear him into pieces.

”Yurino Lightning Arrow!” Mogiana’s magic arrived, the Lake God Witch’s magic precisely struck the Great Nurgle Demon’s arm, the lightning exploded on the Wound Master’s round arm.

It didn’t work, the Great Nurgle Demon’s actions merely paused momentarily, Mogiana’s face turned pale, the Lake God Witch could feel her magic power was already exhausted; she had done too many things since departure till now, her body was utterly empty.

”For Yurik!”

Just then, a loud roar rang out from behind the Great Nurgle Demon. The Prince-Elector’s Holy Sword pierced into the Great Nurgle Demon’s body from behind, the powerful divine energy within made the Wound Master cry out in pain, and the Holy Grail Knight fell to the ground.

”It’s you, lowly human!” The Great Nurgle Demon clumsily turned around, roaring toward the Prince-Elector, while spewing out large gobs of bile.

”In the name of Yurik, never retreat!” Prince-Elector Boris rode past the thick bile, his Holy Sword—Leg-Slicing Bite’s sword blade burning with a pale flame, the Prince-Elector struck again, and the Great Nurgle Demon howled miserably, truly hurt.

Boris immediately circled around, taking advantage of Great Nurgle Demon’s heavy figure, moving around it, his Holy Sword stabbing, cutting, or slashing, carving seven or eight wounds on the Great Nurgle Demon, from which pus flowed heavily and could never heal again: ”Die, scum!”
