Warhammer Divine Throne

Laine gently opened his eyes; he had received a spiritual communication.

He rose, helped Ollica tuck in the quilt, and gave the Dark Elf a gentle kiss on her cheek. Laine changed his clothes, stepped onto the balcony under the bright moonlight, and stretched leisurely: ”Ah~ why do they always call me in the middle of the night?”

”Seems like something significant is happening in this world~” Laine murmured. Recently, his territory had been stable and peaceful. The residents were busy preparing for the Winter Festival, and the Baron himself had little to do other than overseeing the gradual arming of all soldiers with crossbows and training the peasants in spear formations.

Just as the words left his mouth, Laine screamed, and he was pulled into a spiritual vortex. Seconds later, he found himself deep in the cave of Charon Forest in the northern part of Baron Gene’s Domain, where four golden-helmed and armored Imperial Guards were intently observing every movement nearby.

Torches and bonfires were lit around the cave. In the center stood a black device, inside which a red-haired individual was constantly screaming. Unknown black metal and numerous cables seemed to be suppressing and binding his soul and body.

Beside the device was the Master of Humans, waiting for Laine. Perhaps he was too impatient, so he directly brought Laine here using spiritual teleportation.

Angerong was also there, the World-Devourer Primarch awkwardly glancing between the Emperor and Laine: ”Father, for purifying Magnus, just calling Laine over is enough; why bring me along?”

The Emperor, in his supreme authority, carried a faint smile: ”As I said, I need your help, Angerong.”

”What do you need brother’s help with, Father?” Laine asked curiously, and he also noticed another ”person” accompanying the Emperor to this world.

Great Sage Kaur from the Mechanical God Cult was also present. Noticing Laine’s gaze, the person—now mostly machine with only half a face and hand still organic—nodded as a greeting: ”Hello, Grey Knight Primarch.”

”Hello, Great Sage.” Laine nodded, then turned towards the Emperor and said, ”Father, about the power axe of brother you mentioned last time...”

”Every move I make needs to be cautious now; Khorne and Tzeentch are searching for their Demon Primarchs everywhere. I managed to come here by making a deal with Laughing God Silegau to cover my actions. As for Angerong’s weapon, you’ll have to come up with a solution yourselves.” The Emperor waved his hand, indicating that he was too busy to bother with it.

Angerong seemed unsurprised and gave Laine a look that said ”I knew Father was biased” before sitting aside, no longer looking at his father.

”It’s getting late, let’s begin!” The Ascension Demon Primarch, Red Son Magnus, was extracted from the device sealing him with the Star God, and then the Emperor directly began the purification and transformation process with Laine.

However, barely a few minutes into the transformation, Magnus suddenly opened his eyes on the stone slab and roared: ”You wish! Damned Father!”

”No! Father, Magnus’s spiritual awareness has awakened!” Laine instantly felt a powerful subspace surge directly impact his consciousness sea. The force was so strong that blood began to flow from his nose and mouth right then and there.

”Angerong! Magnus needs anesthesia!” The Emperor also noticed Magnus’s resistance and decisively shouted to Angerong.

”Here.” Without delay, Angerong picked up a large iron hammer, jogged a few steps, and slammed it hard onto Magnus’s forehead.

”Boom!” The sound of metal striking a heavy object echoed as Magnus let out a scream, a large bump forming on his forehead. The Ascension Demon Primarch then fainted, and his spiritual awareness fell into slumber once more.

”Good, let’s continue.”
