Looking at the pair of black leather shoes with dragon scales in front of him, Gu Xi felt that the reward given this time was truly random.

A piece of purple armor was directly given without asking if anyone wanted it.

The most important thing is that whether you kill many or few, the reward is the same?

He killed no less than fifteen hundred giant dragons.

Just this?

Gu Xi couldn’t help but mutter to himself.

However, after seeing the attributes of the shoes, Gu Xi took back all his words.

The purple armor was random, but the attributes weren’t bad.

Fifteen hundred giant dragons truly had a substantial effect.

This time, the quality of the shoes was quite good.

Even without the orange armor, these shoes were still top-grade.

[Dragon Scale Boots (Purple, Leather Shoes)]

[Defense: 43]

[Equipped: Agility +9, Perception +5]

[Equipment Requirements: Power 7, Constitution 7]

[Special 1: Flying Dragon in the Sky, wearing these Dragon Scale Boots allows free flight in the sky for up to 3 hours each day, with no consumption of physical strength or mana, and movement speed equal to the wearer’s normal walking speed.]

[Special Influence 1: After equipping and using the Flying Dragon in the Sky effect, the Dragon Scale Boots will lock with the wearer, requiring double the time of daily flight wearing the shoes without removal.]

[Special 2: Demon-Stepping Road, wearing these Dragon Scale Boots allows ignoring ground ambush-type magic effects not exceeding Level 5 (including but not limited to Flame Path, Fire Wall Skill, Landmine Skill, etc.).]

[Special Influence 2: After equipping and activating the Demon-Stepping Road effect once, the feet will feel a sense of squeeze and prickliness when wearing these shoes.]

[Special 3: Giant Dragon’s Strong Breath, can actively use the Giant Dragon’s Strong Breath function to increase movement speed and agility level, lasting for 30 seconds (no mana consumption, 25 seconds cooldown).]

[Special Influence 3: After equipping and activating the Giant Dragon’s Strong Breath effect once, a foot odor will be smelled in the nose.]

[Explanation: The power of the Giant Dragon is strong.]

Just a look at the shoe’s attributes, not to mention anything else, but putting the negative effects aside, one can tell this item is top-grade.

Regardless of the special effects, who can withstand these negative effects?

To fly for three hours, must you wear these shoes for six hours daily, are you willing?

To tread on magic without being affected by it, will you wear these shoes even if they feel tight? Are you willing?

To constantly enhance agility and speed, just bear a little foot smell, are you willing?

In such a situation, any player would make the right choice.

No player would refuse such a good piece of equipment.

This item is the kind that essentially removes the negative effects.

If only Su Jie, whom we encountered in Pei Xin City back then, encountered equipment of this quality, she could fill herself with them.

With such gear, what is there for Gu Xi to pick on?

Fifteen hundred giant dragons exchanged for equipment with such a low negative effect, Gu Xi naturally put it on immediately.

Then Gu Xi felt it, discovering that activating these Dragon Scale Boots was quite simple.

No need for any movement, as long as Gu Xi had the thought, he could fly by himself.

At the same time, Gu Xi could put on a show of walking in air and the like.

This made Gu Xi quite satisfied.

Previously Gu Xi wanted to stand in a higher position to watch the battle, he had to raise a Soul Summoning Tower or something.

Now it’s not necessary, he can directly tread the void.

Just being able to fly is already a great thing for Gu Xi.

After flying around in the air a bit, Gu Xi landed in front of Kro.

At this time, Kro had also packed up his things.

Seeing Gu Xi fly down from the sky, Kro visibly paused for a moment.

”Brother Gu, weren’t those giant dragons flying from the volcano over there?”

Gu Xi nodded, ”Sort of, but there shouldn’t be giant dragons finding us later, how about you, are all your things packed?”

Gu Xi didn’t want to explain to Kro why he had led this batch of giant dragons to deal with.

He was more concerned about Kro’s next actions now.

”Things are all packed, here’s the map.”

Kro spoke as he handed a map to Gu Xi.

Gu Xi opened the map and couldn’t help but pause.

”What’s up with you this time, giving me all your archaeological ranges on the map?”

”If this time’s matter succeeds, I’ll be doing other archaeology there for some time, no need to go elsewhere.

If this matter fails, I fear I’ll hide in the main cities of a few Human Realms, whether or not this map is useful.”

Listening to Kro’s words, Gu Xi looked again at the map in his hand; it depicted just about seven or eight realms nearby.

Within these seven or eight Human Realms alone, there were over ninety documented archaeological sites.

The map detailedly illustrated each excavation site and its output.

Just looking at the map, one could know what range the excavation site covered and mainly produced.

And Kro had drawn a circle in the map’s center.

”Golden Tree Elf Ruins? Are we going here?”

”Yes, this elf ruin was the domain of the Golden Tree Elves, I only did archaeology here once before, but that time my gain was quite large, various golden products, and various golden weapons.

However, when I sold those golden products and golden weapons, the kings of several nearby realms sent people to find me, hoping I wouldn’t seek those golden products.

I was curious and asked the reason within.

Turns out they said that more than half of that gold was fake.”

Saying that, a trace of nostalgia flashed in Kro’s eyes, ”I didn’t much believe this, but several nearby realms said so, leaving me no way to do archaeology there anymore.

Most importantly, things I excavated couldn’t be transported out, it wasn’t just one or two realms, but all nearby realms.

They accepted other items, but not this gold.

Then why bother archaeological digging.

I was just digging for money, items that can’t be sold, I surely wouldn’t do archaeology on.

Of course, I was still young back then, so I was somewhat unwilling.

Once passing by, I ventured inside.

Only that time I didn’t do excavation but walked along the little path I used during archaeological digging.

In the archaeological site, I accidentally discovered a mysterious spot.

There was a large number of golden products and golden weapons, no need to painstakingly excavate and piece together as usual.

It’s a pity that back then I promised several nearby Kings, so I couldn’t get these items transported out anymore.”
