Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1216: Chapter 1214: Fierce Battle in the Sky

With the Bone Dragons colliding with the Giant Dragons, the battle shifted in another direction.

The Giant Dragons, facing the provocation of the Bone Dragons, directly entered the stage of aerial melee combat.

At this point, one has to admit that in certain aspects, the Giant Dragons are truly at the pinnacle of all combat troops.

They can fly, can breathe Dragon Breath at a distance, can resist magic attacks, and their melee combat power is absurdly strong.

In every aspect, they are of the highest configuration.

Now that the Bone Dragons approached them, they naturally engaged in aerial combat with the Bone Dragons.

Meanwhile, those Bone Dragons affected by the Death Incarnation again became the main force of the battle.

After all, their current level reached Level 19, just one step away from Level 20.

Back then, the Yaksha Jade Tree King that Gu Xi fought hard against was at this level.

Now, more than fifty Level 19s directly went to bite the Giant Dragons in the sky.

Those Giant Dragons below Level 15 were simply no match for these Bone Dragons.

And although there were quite a few Giant Dragons above Level 15, the Death Incarnation here was completely unreasonable.

Whenever a Death Incarnation was bitten to death, new Bone Dragons would immediately be influenced by the Incarnation Lord’s abilities, and their level would instantly rise to Level 19, ready to fight in the sky battlefield.

Meanwhile, the Undead Titans on the ground also did not miss such an opportunity; a wave of lightning strikes succeeded in taking down quite a few Giant Dragons, and now was even a better chance for the Undead Titans to kill Giant Dragons.

They shifted from salvoes to targeted shots.

Anyway, they just watched which Dragon in the sky was about to fail and went up with an arrow.

The power of the Lightning Arrow is actually quite significant.

The Giant Dragons also saw the Undead Titans attacking them below; they wanted to go down, but there were simply too many Bone Dragons holding them back.

Many times, the Giant Dragons tried to charge downwards, but they were completely blocked by the Bone Dragons, which gave the Undead Titans a chance to keep throwing lightning imbued with Aura of Death below.

The choice of the Undead Titans was quite precise, each strike hitting the nearly dead Giant Dragon there.

The situation of Titans against Dragons, as well as Dragons against Titans, is the same, with damage increased by 150%.

So when the power of the Lightning Arrow hits the Dragons, without saying anything about the Dragon’s Magic Resistance defense, if the attack power is not doubled, it is absolutely because the Dragon’s level is extremely high, forcing off such an attack.

With the Undead Titans attacking like this, the Dragons in the sky also realized it couldn’t end like this, and the leading Giant Dragon glanced around and decisively issued an order.

They prepared to fly upwards, leveraging the extremely high flying speed of the Giant Dragons to shake off the Bone Dragons, and then conduct a wave of Dragon Breath attacks from the sky against the Bone Dragons.

As long as they breached the Bone Dragons’ defense, they could charge down and kill those Undead Titans.

Without the Undead Titans, the Giant Dragons would still have a chance to kill the Bone Dragons here.

But the Giant Dragon leader apparently hadn’t considered the entire battle situation thoroughly.

Gu Xi had more than four hundred properly Dragon underlings yet to make a move.

They had been circling the sky, looking for a moment to act.

With the Bone Dragons already moving to attack, they couldn’t intervene.

Now these Giant Dragons were flying into the sky; this was the opportunity.

Gu Xi’s Dragon underlings immediately flew over and let out a burst of breath.

Most of Gu Xi’s Dragons came from the Maze Demon City, with a significant batch being those Giant Dragons that were almost starved to death and recovered.

In the maze back then, to avoid starving, they ate lots of creatures, absorbing their Experience and attributes.

In fact, back then, aside from being too weak from hunger, their levels were quite high, with an average level of over Level 12.

After recovery over this period, their combat power also returned to its highest level.

With the Maze Demon City’s expansion outward during this time, they had all participated in battles.

Their levels improved considerably now.

These Dragons soared, and the leading young Holy Dragon understood that their chance had arrived.

Then all the Dragons turned their breath on the flying fellow Dragons, releasing a surge of Dragon Breath.

A massive net of Dragon Flame formed, pushing the Giant Dragons downwards.

The Giant Dragons aiming to fly high didn’t expect to encounter such an event, in the Dragon Flame, they had to use their wings to protect their heads and faces and fell downwards.

And as they fell, they landed again in the attack range of the Bone Dragons, engaging in battle once more.

While a few Dragons managed to break out of the Dragon Flame, they began fighting the Bone Dragons of Gu Xi in the sky.

This time they faced properly Dragons, not Bone Dragons transformed from deceased Dragon Bones.

This was truly a contest between Dragons.

Under the lead of the Holy Dragon, Gu Xi’s Dragons unleashed another wave of Dragon Breath on the scattered incoming Giant Dragons, then rushed forward for melee combat.

The enemy Dragons also wanted to counterattack, but few had flown up, and they had lost the initiative, their bodies still covered in Dragon Flame.

Then they were submerged in the ranks of Gu Xi’s Dragons.

The two groups of Dragons kept battling fiercely in the sky.

The Undead Titans below, upon seeing such a situation, had their faces show a rigid smile.

They repeatedly took out Lightning Arrows, throwing them upwards.

The Undead Titans’ attack made the Dragons quite angry, but they couldn’t break through the Bone Dragons’ defense line and charge down to engage Gu Xi.

Gradually, one by one, the Dragons perished in battle, more and more Bone Dragons freed their hands to fly up, preparing to chase those Dragons that had flown to high altitudes.

The Dragon Corps engaged in battle with the enemy Dragons saw it and panicked.

The Bone Dragons already had a big advantage.

They fought hard for some advantage, and now the Bone Dragons wanted to come over and grab it, they couldn’t let that happen.

So under the lead of the young Holy Dragon, Gu Xi’s Dragons showcased 120% of their combat power, completely disregarding their own safety, tearing and breathing on the enemy Dragons, focusing on targeting three to five Dragons to strike the opponent; upon hitting, they aimed to kill the opponent.

The opposing Dragons were strong but seriously outnumbered.

In a one-to-three situation, even the strongest Dragon couldn’t withstand it.

Thus, the number of enemy Dragons grew fewer, while Gu Xi’s side grew increasingly successful.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi hadn’t been idle.

After the battle commenced, Gu Xi called upon their home’s Blood Replenishment experts, Isabella and the Withered, even setting up Healing Tents out of the enemy Dragons’ sight, continually replenishing the health of their own troops.

The White Bone Obelisk also variously blessed them without delay, boosting the power of Gu Xi’s underlings.

If not for this, the battle wouldn’t have gone so smoothly.

With just a few blows, the enemy Dragons suffered heavy losses, and the remaining ones were all injured, making it clear that the battle was nearing its end.
