Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1207: Chapter 1205: Enhancement and Arrangements

After establishing the standards for corpse classification, the remaining issue is the Soul Summoning Tower architectural design plan.

Corpse classification and nurturing require environments heavy with Yin Qi and Evil Qi, but the environment needed for summoning is not as crucial.

The reason Gu Xi came to Yalidu City to re-evaluate the summoning is primarily to upgrade and enhance the Soul Summoning Tower.

After all, Gu Xi needs a solution to manage his Mana consumption during summoning.

Modifying the Soul Summoning Tower is Gu Xi’s best option right now.

Gathering Soul Summoning Towers together to form a summoning district can be handled later, but the matter of the towers must be prioritized.

For the Undead Mage still requires on-site summoning.

Previously, Gu Xi hadn’t considered this extensively, often waiting until after the battle to use the Soul Summoning Tower.

But now, he has thought it through.

Temporary battlefield summoning is a tactical choice.

If souls can be summoned continuously, it is tantamount to Gu Xi initiating another Undead Calamity.

As long as Gu Xi remains alive, he can perpetually summon from the corpses on the battlefield.

Earlier, Gu Xi was incapable of this due to insufficient Mana, even doubling his Mana didn’t exceed twenty thousand.

Moreover, he needed to conserve Mana for other purposes and couldn’t dedicate it entirely to Soul Summoning Skill.

Even spells like Ghost Gate Opening have a stronger effect than on-site summoning.

But Kro’s previous reminder enlightened Gu Xi on why the Death City’s second battlefield deployment was the Soul Summoning Tower.

This was not arranged for the convenience of players to summon after battle.

Battlefield summoning is the real strategy.

”Eve, you need to research this intensively; I will also look into the possibility of suitable architectural design plans for sale. If necessary, I will check the real world, where options are more abundant.”

After determining the locations for the future summoning district, Gu Xi began delegating tasks to Eve.

As among Gu Xi’s contracted undead, only Eve possesses expertise in magic and technology research.

The others are either unavailable or lack the talent in these fields.

So even though Eve is currently extremely busy, Gu Xi has no choice but to assign this task to her.

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s assignment, Eve didn’t express dissatisfaction; instead, she seriously drafted a timetable.

She assured Gu Xi that she would handle the tasks according to the timetable and complete them at the allocated time.

Gu Xi had no objections to this timeline calculated monthly.

He’s become accustomed to this pace, understanding that not all matters can be resolved in a day or two.

For extensive plans like this, completing them within three months would be quite an achievement.

After laying out the arrangements, Gu Xi discussed the matter of Poisonous Peach Mountain with Luna.

The Path of Tribulation is extending towards Poisonous Peach Mountain, indicating its integration into Gu Xi’s Death City system.

Though Poisonous Peach Mountain is just beginning, over time, as long as it remains part of Gu Xi’s battle framework, this city will definitely yield substantial benefits.

Whether the benefits lie in military strength or resources depends on Gu Xi’s choices.

Poisonous Peach Mountain has been confirmed as Gu Xi’s Death City and is now connected with Yalidu City, allowing mutual exchange.

Regarding plans for Poisonous Peach Mountain, Gu Xi explained them in detail to Luna.

Luna expressed no objections or dissatisfaction.

She is aware of her situation.

Handling Yalidu City already stretches her capacity.

Her exclusive Mysterious Mirror Image Space is managed in her spare time.

Managing another Death City would be overwhelming even if she were split into two.

She appreciates Gu Xi not assigning Poisonous Peach Mountain to her management.

Nevertheless, Luna shared many opinions regarding Poisonous Peach Mountain.

On one hand, Poisonous Peach Mountain is still at its inception, and Luna suggested construction pathways to avoid pitfalls she experienced previously.

On the other hand, Yalidu City differs from Poisonous Peach Mountain.

The Mirror Image Underground Palace housing Yalidu City is somewhat dangerous, but the Great Monarch hasn’t focused there, ensuring its safety.

Poisonous Peach Mountain, however, is distinct.

Its world is predominantly human, filled with national rivalries.

Importantly, Blood God Son has invested an uncertain number of players there.

This means at any unpredictable moment, a bored player might pass by Poisonous Peach Mountain and notice its uniqueness.

Thus, Poisonous Peach Mountain must prepare for assaults from various sources.

Although it may lack resource points, its City Gate, City Wall, and Arrow Tower defense systems must be established first.

Furthermore, as a Death City, its status surpasses Blood Sacrifice Ridge and Jiaolong Blood Castle.

After securing its defenses, Poisonous Peach Mountain must identify its strengths.

Continual defense by drawing on Yalidu City’s resources isn’t viable.

Poisonous Peach Mountain needs a purpose.

Even if it can’t supply resources like Blood Sacrifice Ridge and Jiaolong Blood Castle do, it should possess unique attributes.

When Gu Xi is in need, whether providing resources or soldiers, it must showcase its potential.

Otherwise, what justification is there for Gu Xi to establish such a Death City?

Gu Xi agrees with Luna on several counts.

However, they haven’t yet identified what Poisonous Peach Mountain can offer, requiring Silia’s consideration to avoid squandering this valuable city.

Luna has thoroughly contemplated all this.

Now that Luna has voiced these concerns, Gu Xi nods, indicating he will address them.

If possible, Gu Xi plans to stay at Poisonous Peach Mountain a few more days until it stabilizes before joining Kro in archeology.

Gu Xi has resolved that during this archeology expedition, he will observe closely for suitable corpses.

If suitable ones are found, he will send a batch to Poisonous Peach Mountain as its distinctive feature.

At that moment, Eldest Princess Anna, upon receiving the news, arrived with two lordly attendants.

”Sir, these are some defensive suggestions regarding Poisonous Peach Mountain. I drafted them temporarily and brought them for your reference, hoping they will be useful.”
