Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Having absorbed enough cells from Gao Gong, the Red Liquid naturally also inherited a part of Gao Gong’s emotions.

For example, the impulsive desire to beat the little woman violently.

No. 3 was directly embedded into the wall with one punch from the Red Liquid, leaving a large human-shaped imprint on the wall.

This punch seemed to not only flatten the opponent’s face but also deflated the entire body.

No. 3 ripped off the arm that was stuck to the wall with a ’scree,’ took a deep breath like a whale swallowing water, then swelled up again, eyeing the other party suspiciously.

”Slaughtering Alien Stars?”

The ’Slaughtering Alien Stars’ it mentioned is a well-known biological civilization in the universe, esteemed for producing interstellar fugitives, with amazing survival abilities, able to regenerate from a single cell.

These ’Planet Killers’ are most famous for using interstellar travel tools to reach various civilized planets, initially consuming hosts, then engaging in thefts and minor killings, followed by mass slaughter, until the planet is entirely exterminated.

They have destroyed millions of planets.

To defensively guard against such ’super pathogens,’ all interstellar travel tools are equipped with stringent biological monitoring equipment, even sparking protests from several spore-like civilizations.

But, alas, these monsters propagate similarly to your kind.

However, when No. 3 saw the spindle-shaped laser device still floating in mid-air, it breathed a sigh of relief; it was fortunate that the resemblance was only in shape. The strongest ability of the ’Slaughtering Alien Stars’ is to absorb various weapons. Kinetic energy weapons, electromagnetic weapons, energy weapons, gravity weapons, once consumed, all become part of it.

Clearly, this mere monster only imitated its shape, lacking the actual monster’s abilities.

No. 3 sneered, ”Ordinary biological transformation is a commonplace ability in the universe.”

As it spoke, the surface of its green skin turned liquid, with sharp hooks, spikes, and daggers emerging from the liquid, appearing even more menacing than the Red Liquid.

The Red Liquid was stunned for a moment, then immediately enraged, roaring, its figure swelled to match the green skin’s height. Muscles knotted, a half-meter-long red tongue shot out from its mouth, lunging fiercely at No. 3. Unyielding, No. 3 quickly engaged the two monsters in a brawl, with numerous liquids tearing, entwining, and slicing.

It turned out that the Red Liquid was really not a match for its opponent. A biological replicant disregards most attacks, but its nemesis lies in the microscopic realm. As a multi-planet species, the ’Michael Star People’ can withstand most planetary disasters, meaning its cell survival ability rivals microorganisms surviving in volcano craters.

Compared to the mishmash of the Red Liquid formed from Radiation Beast Cells, the opponent was clearly superior by more than a notch.

During the entanglement, the Red Liquid gradually felt its body stiffen and freeze, with some fluids freezing into a powder just as they wriggled into shape.

This was the result of cellular liberation and genetic invasion.

Seeing this, No. 3 found a gap and, with a punch like a pile driver, hit each part of its opponent’s body, while the energy cannon on its back gathered again, the radiance flashing and disappearing in an instant, directly blowing the Red Liquid’s head apart, while its body was kicked, similarly embedding into the wall.

”Idiot, you were told to say less and do more, not to brawl with others.”

Gao Gong’s figure appeared on the fourth floor, while the seriously injured Red Liquid howled, emitting a sharp noise akin to a small dog’s yelp.

Having been beaten, it sought its father’s backing.

”Don’t look at me, I’m here to reduce rejection, not increase it.”

Gao Gong looked up, seeing the ’Biological Network’ aside from the rooftop, each laboratory door of the Research Institute was open, with at least twenty monsters created by ’Bionic Experiments’ rushing out. They had already evolved into grotesque shapes, all designed to counter perception and consciousness.

”Bionic monsters are indeed frightening,” Gao Gong laughed heartily, looking down at No. 3.

No. 3 stared at Gao Gong, for some reason, sensing an immense threat from him.

The Red Liquid grew another fist-sized head, barking arrogantly, releasing a frantic scream.

Then, the spindle-shaped energy cannon fired upward, directly blasting Gao Gong’s upper body to smithereens.

The Red Liquid’s scream abruptly stopped.

It began to question its existence.

Then No. 3’s expression not only didn’t relax but instead turned even more serious, because it saw Gao Gong’s lower half, which had been blown apart, transforming into fleshy tendrils, merging into the ground.

”The body of an interstellar thief is terrifyingly strong,” Gao Gong’s voice emerged from the loudspeaker.

At the same time, all surveillance cameras turned towards No. 3.

And the system that was forcibly shut down by Professor Han earlier was now opening one by one, countless screens lighting up again.

No. 3 finally understood where the sense of threat was coming from.

When it initially invaded the Research Institute’s systems, it felt the same way.

Only now, it had become the target of invasion.

Rows of gun barrels, hidden across several floors, suddenly emerged, with the dark muzzles spewing terrifying tongues of fire.

The sound of sonic booms erupted, and No. 3 reappeared in front of the Red Liquid, knees slamming hard into its abdomen, tearing it apart at the waist.

Upon this pause, countless bullets rained down on it, splashing blue flesh flowers.

Although as a multi-planet species, ordinary kinetic energy weapons did not cause it much harm, even if it forced to chip away at its blood volume, the loss from so many bullets was not a small number.

No. 3 thought for a moment, the spindle energy cannon disassembled again, transforming back into thirteen floating spindle energy guns. Under its built-in positioning system, light gleamed from both sides of the spindle line, converging to the tip of the spindle. A flash of light, a positioning laser flickered by, and as the smell of burning filled the air, a hidden gun muzzle was taken out.

Laser weapons vs. kinetic energy weapons.

Laser weapons won decisively.

With the lasers crisscrossing, one gun muzzle after another was blown open. However, No. 3’s expression grew even uglier. For no other reason, it felt the control given by the main body was being taken away bit by bit by the other party.

Even the biological experiment above had started showing signs of disobedience.

It had wasted no small effort to lure this mature-phase pan-conscious subject into the trap.

If it truly started a fight, it wouldn’t be a match for the opponent.

A thought crossed its mind, and on No. 3’s body, a thick muscle cord swelled up, as thick as a thumb, following the spine upwards, and rapidly turning black as it grew.

A powerful aura swiftly emerged from him, as if a giant ten-meter-tall mechanical emperor suddenly stood up from the throne. Its body surface bore huge and complex mechanical parts, constantly rotating as it rose, with thick biological tubes leading up from the neck to the head. Its end should be a mass of brain.

Conqueror III!

The Empire’s most powerful mechanical body.

The Conquering Emperor pressed both hands downwards, and in the next moment, a terrifying mechanical force swept through the entire research institute, blowing all circuit components open, with various projection screens shutting down again.

Fortunately, before leaving, the main body had left him a tube of ’Black Prince King’s Blood’, otherwise, he would have almost been caught off guard.

This wave of intense force even forced Gao Gong’s main inside to come out. At the top of the building, a half-mechanical, half-organic body appeared, titanium alloy bones sprouting various spikes, with joints in the shape of a semi-bow, and there was a glowing circular body set into its chest.

Except for the eyeless eyeballs, there wasn’t a trace of flesh and blood on the whole body.

”Found you!” Eye to eye, No. 3 sneered coldly.

”Don’t look at me like that, I’m a pacifist,” Gao Gong’s voice continued to emanate from the speaker, ”Besides, I’m not here to fight for control of the research institute, I’m just here to open a door.”

Door!?

No. 3 raised its head, as its vision suddenly darkened. On the clear glass ceiling, a mechanical head as massive as a small mountain peered over, its searchlight-like eyeballs stared intently, like oversized spiritual nodes.

A-level Mechanical Beast—Mechanical Fortress

And outside the research institute, dense swarms of mechanical beasts blanketed the sky, like a beast tide.

He didn’t just decide on a whim to call ’Little Lady No. 2’ over here.

It was because he knew the research institute was heavily fortified, and there was no telling what unexpected trouble might arise. He had notified ’Little Lady No. 2’ in advance, asking her to bring her main force over while heading back.

”An already mature pan-conscious life form, and yet it didn’t think of forming an alliance but instead chose hostility, a complete fool courting death.”

In the next moment, the Mechanical Fortress opened its massive mouth, the pillar-like teeth fiercely collided with the top, and the tempered glass couldn’t withstand such immense weight, shattering with a crash.

The beast swarm rushed in.

Gao Gong shook his head, and in the next moment, countless flesh poured out from the ground, covering the body once more, reassembling into a flesh form.

Seeing the +300 biological rejection, Gao Gong couldn’t help but twitch his lips. Just merging the body caused the rejection to increase this much, an exaggeration.

The fusion route was indeed a difficult path.

Even though it was truly convenient.

There wasn’t much else to say next, No. 3 couldn’t fight against the multitude of beasts alone. Wherever the lasers struck, even a C-level Radiation Beast couldn’t withstand three shots. However, when five B-level Mechanical Beasts surrounded it, it despaired.

Notably inside, Gao Gong also saw his old acquaintance, the Super Mechanical Ape that enjoyed gnawing on trees.

This guy, who knows when, had joined the Brain-in-a-Vat team.

You with the thick eyebrows, do you also have a fondness for brain?

The Red Liquid crawled over pathetically, and Gao Gong rolled his eyes, ”If you hadn’t interfered, there would have been no trouble at all. Rushing out without settling anything and getting beaten, wasn’t it your own fault?”

”Where is the Professor Han I asked you to watch over?”

Two blobs of Red Liquid slowly wriggled, each shooting out half a body, which combined to form Professor Han’s main body.

”Damn it—”

Luckily, the Red Liquid delivered news at the same time, because the other party was a Bionic Man, and it had blocked the wound, Professor Han still had a breath left, and Gao Gong managed to suppress the urge of righteous family judgment.

This guy was truly unreliable, didn’t know who he learned it from, was it the Little Woman?

After taking out nearly three hundred Mechanical Beasts and one B-level Radiation Beast, No. 3 finally let out a miserable cry and was beaten to death.
