Chapter 127: Chapter 104: The Day of the Dragon King’s Return!

It was a vibrant island, covered in lush vegetation as seen from afar.

The vegetation formed a circular belt, encircling the center of the island. Under the sunlight, the entire island appeared lively and lush.

Seeing the island, Dragonite’s eyes lit up with excitement. It immediately turned to Naoki and exclaimed, ”Aowoo!”

Naoki raised an eyebrow and asked, ”Is that where you used to live?”

”Aowoo!”

Dragonite nodded.

Naoki didn’t ask further. Seeing they were about to reach their destination, Dragonite and Koraidon lowered their flying altitude, flying close to the sea surface before landing on a steep cliff.

Below, the waves constantly battered the cliff. Naoki jumped off Koraidon.

”Aowoo~”

Having returned to its former home, Dragonite was very happy and eagerly led the way.

Naoki and Koraidon followed behind, curiously observing the unique surroundings.

Unlike other places, the plants on this island were exceptionally lush, with deep grass, robust trees, and yellow and white wildflowers growing in the forest, with branches laden with plump berries.

”Interesting.”

Seeing this scene, Naoki couldn’t help but think of the Dragon’s Holy Sanctuary in Blackthorn City of the Johto Region.

It was a very special place.

The land was covered with beautiful flowers and trees, and the flowers bloomed all year round.

It was said that all of this was influenced by the power of Dragon Type Pokemon.

If this was Dragonite’s hometown, then there must be more than just one Dragonite here.

So, were these lush plants also influenced by the Dragonites on the island?

Thinking of this, Naoki couldn’t help but stop and moved under a large, lush tree.

He wanted to pick a large leaf to examine, but in the next second, a small figure suddenly peeked out from behind the leaf.

”Ah!”

Naoki was startled and let out a cry, losing his balance and falling onto the grass behind.

Koraidon and Dragonite turned back at the sound, only to see a petite, pale blue-scaled, bright white-bellied, serpentine Pokemon peeking curiously at this stranger from behind the leaf.

The Pokemon had blue eyes and a white bump on its forehead, which was the developing horn.

It had white fins on the sides of its head, a large round white nose, and although it was snake-like, it lacked the sinister coldness of snakes and instead appeared very cute.

Koraidon helped Naoki up, and Naoki looked at the small Pokemon, breathing a sigh of relief:

”It’s a Dratini!”

He thought it was a poisonous snake hiding behind the tree to ambush him.

Seeing the Dratini, Dragonite rushed over and chattered at it twice.

The Dratini immediately looked like it was about to cry.

Naoki: ”...Why are you scolding it?”

Dragonite looked innocent: ”Aowoo...”

It wasn’t scolding Dratini, it was just worried about Dratini’s safety.

Dratini was at its weakest stage, during which it would be protected by the Dragonites and Dragonairs in the tribe until it evolved.

On this island, all Dratinis lived in the central lake of the island and couldn’t sneak out without an adult.

Seeing Dragonite’s expression, it really didn’t seem to be scolding the Dratini on purpose. Naoki stood by quietly observing.

Dragonite seemed to say something to Dratini, and Dratini followed behind like a guilty child.

They continued forward, guided by Dragonite, and after passing through the dense circular forest, they reached the center of the island.

A huge lake appeared here.

Seeing the situation clearly, Naoki was completely stunned.

Wow, so many Dragonites!

In the lake, many Dratinis and Dragonairs swam around.

On the grassy lakeside, quite a few Dragonites stood.

They grouped in twos and threes, sitting or standing, with some lying on the grass snoring.

Some looked rough and fierce, very cold, much like Iris’s Dragonite from the anime.

Others appeared gentle, happily watching the Dratinis in the lake while sitting comfortably on the grass.

Naoki even saw a pink-bodied Dratini in the lake.

That’s a Shining Dratini!

Pink and adorable!

Naoki was very charmed.

At this moment, their arrival caught the attention of the Dragonites.

They stopped what they were doing and turned to look over.

Then, Naoki saw his Dragonite flap its wings, fly over to the group, chattering with the Dragonites, and then, under the watchful eyes of the Dragonites, Dratinis, and Dragonairs, soar into the sky.

Dragonite concentrated, and a few clouds floated over the previously clear sky.

It began to rain from above.

Dragonite flapped its wings, merging the wind and rain, forming a massive hurricane, ravaging the entire island.

Dragonite circled within, surrounded by streaks of lightning, with a loud crash as a thick bolt of lightning struck down directly.

The wild Dragonites by the lakeside watched this scene, dumbfounded.

Some Dragonites had their eyes wide open, with shocked expressions remarkably human-like.
