His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1941: Chapter 557: Brother Chen Goes to the Beauty Salon (Part 2)

Mu Yichen noticed her holding back, with a pitiful expression, looking particularly moving.

At around four in the afternoon, Qin Mu received a call from Paris: ”When are you coming over?”

”I got it! Let me know when!”

Qin Mu was in the bathroom answering the call while trying hard to pull up the zipper on her back. She was getting annoyed with this design and thought zippers suited better on the waist.

Suddenly, the door was pushed open with a bang, and the door slowly went to the wall and hit the door stop.

Qin Mu turned her head and saw the man standing at the entrance, looking quite unhappy.

”Weren’t you going to rest for a while?”

Qin Mu asked him, then finally managed to zip up.

”Are you going to Paris?”

Mu Yichen asked coldly.

”Going to Paris?”

Qin Mu seriously studied Mu Yichen’s face, recalling the call just now, then blinked her eyes: ”Oh! And what if I am?”

”You’re not allowed to go!”

Mu Yichen bluntly said, then turned around and walked out.

Qin Mu lowered her gaze, listening to his footsteps gradually fading away.

Mu Yichen lit a cigarette by the window, and Qin Mu walked over, standing beside him with her hands in her pants pockets. She lightly nudged him with her elbow: ”It’s our studio colleagues who are going to Paris.”

Mu Yichen’s initially sinister eyes gradually turned confused. He turned his head and looked down at the woman standing next to him.

”Really?”

Mu Yichen asked her, sounding like he was afraid of losing her.

”Yes!”

Qin Mu nodded to confirm.

Only then did Mu Yichen give a sly smile and then looked at her: ”You, woman, why didn’t you say so earlier?”

”I wanted to tease you!”

Qin Mu couldn’t help but laugh.

Seeing her laugh, Mu Yichen couldn’t help but feel delighted, holding the cigarette in his mouth as he said to her: ”You, woman, get pleasure from teasing me?”

”Yes!”

Qin Mu looked up at him, her hand lightly resting on his waist.

Looking at his deep gaze, Qin Mu realized she owed him an apology. She shouldn’t have taken out her father’s death on him. She lacked capability and had blamed him instead, making him bear so much pain.

”Why didn’t you stop me last time I was going to Paris?”

Qin Mu didn’t dwell on it, wanting them both to be more relaxed.

”Last time? How dare I stop you?”

Mu Yichen smiled bitterly. Back then, she was going to Paris to see her mentor. His heart almost broke. At that time, instead of crying in his arms, Qin Mu left for Paris because of a call from Xiao Wei, rather going to cry in her mentor’s arms.

”Is there anything you don’t dare?”

In Qin Mu’s heart, Mu Yichen only hesitated on things he didn’t want to do, not things he dared not do.

When she was only twenty, he had already slept with her!

Even before she came of age, he had kissed her. He took all her firsts, hardly someone lacking courage!

”There are things! Especially when it comes to you!”

Mu Yichen raised his hand to gently touch her hair.

”Put out the cigarette first, no smoking in the bedroom!”

Qin Mu saw his condition was a bit concerning, but still didn’t forget to remind him of something important.

”Why can’t I smoke in the bedroom? Didn’t you not care before?”

”Now you can’t!”

Qin Mu turned around, and as she left him, added with some pride.

He smoked because he was troubled, and it was related to her. How could she let him continue smoking?

Mu Yichen took another puff, but this time he seemed to enjoy it. Qin Mu understood him well, trying not to let him smoke.

They both went downstairs. Feng Fanghua hadn’t returned yet, but the old man was already sitting in the living room watching the news.

The old man didn’t expect both of them to be home. He looked up and snorted lightly as they walked over: ”You’re both here!”

”Yes! Grandpa, you came back quite early today!”

Qin Mu walked over to sit beside her grandpa, but was immediately pulled away by Mu Yichen.

Qin Mu looked at him in confusion, and Mu Yichen pulled her to sit on the nearby couch.

The old man looked at his grandson disapprovingly and then said to Qin Mu: ”Well, it felt stuffy this afternoon, looks like it might rain soon, so I came back early!”

Though there was still sunshine outside, it really seemed about to rain?

But the dragonflies were indeed flying very low outside, so it might really rain.

”Why stay home all cooped up? You’re young, if you’re not working, take a walk outside.”

The old man said to both of them.

The auntie came out from the kitchen with tea, brought extra cups knowing Qin Mu and Mu Yichen had come down.

”There’s nowhere really to go!”

Qin Mu thought for a moment, saying as she helped the auntie set the cups.
