His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1933: Chapter 555: Last Night You Nearly Killed Me_2

Mu Yichen lowered his head to look at her after entering the elevator, noticing that she seemed a bit insecure. This was quite rare, and it seemed like he would need to come here to play more often.

Of course, he wouldn’t frequently get her drunk. He believed that they had reconciled, at least physically.

There was still no one at home. The two of them went upstairs, and Qin Mu went to the bathroom to take a bath first. From last night until now, she was truly reeking of alcohol. In her whole life, she had never drunk as much as she did last night.

Mu Yichen leisurely undressed. When Yang Qin called, he was sitting by the bed about to take off his pants, so he unhappily paused and answered the call.

”Boss, there’s a meeting at ten this morning. If you don’t come soon, you’ll be late!”

”Let them hold it themselves!”

Mu Yichen replied indifferently, habitually hanging up without saying goodbye.

Yang Qin was puzzled, frowning as Qiao Yi stood beside her. Seeing her expression after the call, he knew Mu Yichen wouldn’t be coming to work today.

”Last night, that guy Jiang Zhiyuan’s words were pretty much true.”

Qiao Yi thought of last night, when Jiang Zhiyuan called him for help. Initially, he thought Jiang Zhiyuan was joking, but now it seemed real.

”Hmm? What do you mean pretty much true?”

Yang Qin looked puzzled at Qiao Yi, asking. She could only hear him muttering to himself, not understanding a word.

”Our boss and his wife were just having fun at the club last night and got caught by friends. Since he isn’t coming, we can have a free discussion today!”

Qiao Yi chuckled, tapped on her desk, and then left.

Yang Qin still stood there, a bit dumbfounded, truly not understanding a thing.

The boss and his wife having fun at the club? What kind of fun?

Weren’t the couple in a cold war?

Yang Qin never understood the relationship matters between Qin Mu and Mu Yichen. She glanced at the pile of documents on her desk and had to put away her miscellaneous thoughts and work earnestly.

Qin Mu, after bathing, felt alive again. But just as she wrapped herself in a towel and opened the bathroom door, she saw the man standing beside it. He had already changed into comfortable pajamas and didn’t seem to plan on going out again.

She really wanted to tell him that he’s been quite idle lately, but thought better of it, fearing he might get upset if she said too much.

”Two minutes!”

His voice was low, and after speaking, he walked in.

Qin Mu turned her head to look at his back,...

There were scars on his back!

What happened?

She walked inside while looking at her fingers in front of her eyes, no wonder she saw something in her nail...

What on earth was last night’s battle like?

Both of them had hoarse voices today; could it be they overdid it?

After lying down on the bed, she pressed her temples hard, trying to recall last night’s events, but she found she seemed to have lost that part of her memory, completely unable to remember.

Just after Qin Mu lay down, Mu Yichen came out from within and naturally lay down beside her again.

Qin Mu instinctively looked at him, watching as he seriously ducked under her quilt without saying anything. Because of her prolonged gaze, he lightly cleared his throat.

Qin Mu couldn’t help but chuckle: ”You know how to be embarrassed, huh?”

Mu Yichen lifted his dark eyes to look at her: ”Embarrassed about what? I’m sleeping with my own wife! It’s justified and rightful!”

Qin Mu didn’t say anything more but thought: ”We’ve been a bit indulgent lately, only sleeping and not doing any real work.”

”Is that so? I don’t feel that way? I actually think this is life!”

Mu Yichen placed his hands under his head, speaking with an expression full of enjoyment.

Qin Mu looked at him like that, then turned over, drowsy.

Mu Yichen noticed her turn her back on him again, so he also turned over and naturally embraced her from behind.

Before closing her eyes, Qin Mu glanced at the hand on her chest, then quietly closed her eyes to rest.

But they probably drank too much yesterday, and neither of them had breakfast today.

However, she still gradually fell asleep, the warmth from behind gradually spreading throughout her body, as if the cold blood in her whole body was warmed.

——

When she woke up in the afternoon, she washed up briefly and went downstairs. The aunt was just about to call her up, and upon seeing her come down from upstairs, quickly greeted her with a smile.

”Young Madam, you’re up. The Young Master just finished preparing lunch and asked me to call you!”

”Mm!”

Qin Mu awkwardly smiled. The aunt’s gentle look made her a bit embarrassed.
