His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1910: Chapter 548: In the Mood Today_2

Not long after, a baby boy was brought to them. The doctor quickly wiped the baby clean, then wrapped him up and brought him to Qin Mu and Helian Hao. Although Helian Hao was very excited, she didn’t take the baby but looked at Qin Mu. Qin Mu reached out cautiously to hold the little one in her arms, her eyes blurred involuntarily, but her smile was so deep and gentle.

Qin Mingzhu was already quiet by this time, too tired to have any strength left.

”It’s a boy, six pounds exactly! Very beautiful!”

Qin Mu whispered to her as if afraid to disturb her rest.

Qin Mingzhu’s eyes moved drowsily, and then she gradually fell asleep again.

When Qin Mingzhu opened her eyes again, she was already in a cozy and comfortable high-end hospital room. Blurrily, she seemed to see the figures of Qin Mu and Mu Yichen.

”This little guy is really fair-skinned, seems to look more like Qin Mingzhu!”

”Indeed!”

Qin Mu, holding the little one, whispered to Mu Yichen. Mu Yichen agreed, and when he looked at the little one, his eyes naturally turned gentle.

However, it was mainly because of Qin Mu, as she hadn’t spoken to him so tenderly in a long time. At this moment, her maternal glow made her unconsciously gentle. Mu Yichen looked at the little one in her arms and suddenly liked him a lot, because it was thanks to this little guy that he got to feel his wife’s tenderness.

”Sister! Brother-in-law!”

Qin Mingzhu’s hoarse voice sounded softly.

Qin Mu and Mu Yichen looked towards the hospital bed. Qin Mu, holding the little one, walked over, ”You’re awake. Feeling better now?”

”Yes! Does Huanyu know?”

Qin Mingzhu answered softly, thinking about her husband.

”He’s already on his way, don’t worry!”

Qin Mu whispered to her. Now everyone seemed to instinctively lower their voices, afraid of disturbing the baby’s sleep or the tranquility of the room.

”Tell him to drive slower, I’m fine!”

Qin Mingzhu said weakly to Qin Mu, trying to sit up.

Qin Mu quickly placed the baby aside and went to assist her.

”You, just take care of yourself! Wang Huanyu is more stable than you think; he wouldn’t speed just because of the baby.”

Mu Yichen stepped forward and gave her the brown sugar water Qin Mu had prepared earlier, with a straw in the cup for her to sip from.

Mu Yichen then picked up the little one again. Qin Mingzhu, after drinking some water and seeing Mu Yichen so happy looking at the little one, couldn’t help but ask softly, ”Do you two want another one? It seems brother-in-law really likes babies!”

Qin Mu’s heart stirred, but she didn’t answer.

”Impossible!”

Mu Yichen was very firm with his words, his eyes still looking tenderly at the little one in his arms, but his expression was very determined.

Qin Mu thought Wang Huanyu wouldn’t speed, but in reality, Wang Huanyu sped all the way to the hospital, couldn’t wait for the elevator, and ran up the stairs instead.

At the door, he straightened his suit, took a deep breath, and gently pushed the door open, gripping the handle.

Inside, Mu Yichen was holding his son, and Qin Mu was feeding his wife water. Wang Huanyu suddenly felt relieved, closed the door, and slowly walked forward.

”Thank you, sister and brother-in-law!”

It was rare for Wang Huanyu to call Qin Mu ”sister,” and even Mu Yichen felt a bit uncomfortable hearing such a formality and raised his eyes a bit.

Qin Mu held back her laughter, feigning her sisterly composure, ”You’re here!”

”Hmm!”

Wang Huanyu nodded and walked to the bedside.

Qin Mingzhu quickly released the straw, and Qin Mu made space for the couple. Wang Huanyu, feeling guilty, sat down and gently stroked her hair, ”Sorry, I couldn’t be with you.”

”Sister and Xiaohao were in the delivery room with me the whole time, don’t feel guilty. Plus, there’s another man in our family. Brother-in-law was waiting outside the delivery room the whole time.”

Qin Mingzhu felt fortunate to have more than just Wang Huanyu, and was touched to have so many loved ones, and a man who loved her so much.

According to the name given by Qin Haiming, if it were a girl, she would be named Wang Yimo, but unexpectedly, it was a boy.

Qin Mingzhu asked Wang Huanyu softly, ”Didn’t you say it was a girl? What do we do now?”

Wang Huanyu...

Qin Mu and Mu Yichen sat on the sofa, listening to their quiet conversation. Qin Mu couldn’t help but chuckle softly, not disturbing them, but she also thought about the baby’s name.

”Don’t bother with dad; if he knew it was a boy, he wouldn’t agree to really name him Wang Yimo. When the little one grows up, he’d blame you. Huanyu, you should rename the baby!”
