His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1911: Chapter 548: Just in the Mood Today_3

Qin Mu thought for a moment, but couldn’t help but speak.

The two people on the bed looked at her, Wang Huanyu thought for a while: ”Of course I do, it’s just...”

”A name is something that will last a lifetime for the little guy, so let’s be serious!”

Mu Yichen saw him hesitating and added a sentence.

Hearing both husband and wife being so resolute, Wang Huanyu nodded: ”Alright! Let’s think of a new one.”

Qin Mingzhu, although she used to say that no matter if it was a boy or a girl, they’d be called this name, now she only wants to hear her husband’s choice.

Ever since giving birth to the baby, Qin Mingzhu found herself loving Wang Huanyu even more; everything he said seemed right to her.

Qin Mu was quite surprised, but sincerely wished them well. She thought Wang Huanyu has finally made it through, hasn’t he? Qin Mingzhu used to be so self-centered, but now she loves him so deeply.

Wang Huanyu truly loves Qin Mingzhu too; seeing the way Wang Huanyu looks at Qin Mingzhu, Qin Mu feels happy for Qin Mingzhu.

After the maternity matron left, Qin Mu and Mu Yichen started heading back, walking slowly through the hospital’s long corridor. For the first time, they didn’t feel heavy-hearted but rather relieved.

”If he knew Mingzhu gave birth safely to the baby, he should be very happy, right?”

As Qin Mu reached the hospital entrance, she looked at the azure sky and softly asked, not directing the question at Mu Yichen but just herself and the unseen wind.

Mu Yichen looked at her and then firmly held onto her hand.

Ever since that forceful kiss in the elevator, he seems unable to coldly ignore their issues anymore.

”Are you trying to crush my hand?”

Qin Mu turned to look at him, puzzled as she asked.

Mu Yichen pulled her forward, loosening his grip slightly.

Qin Mu chuckled and then followed him to the parking lot.

The weather was still so clear, and the sun was especially intense in the September midday, but the wind no longer felt like a sauna as it had recently.

Back home, there was no one else there. They both climbed into bed, lazily lying there and enjoying the comfort of the afternoon.

”Sleep?”

Mu Yichen suddenly turned his head to ask her.

”Aren’t you going to work this afternoon?”

She was free to not go; after completing this show, she could take a few days off, especially now that Qin Mingzhu had given birth, she planned to visit the hospital every day to take care of and accompany Qin Mingzhu, putting other things aside. But Mu wouldn’t he go to work?

”Weekend!”

Mu Yichen dismissed her with the word weekend; although Qin Mu didn’t agree, she said nothing further. As something surged in her lower abdomen, she suddenly sprang up from the bed, realizing she hadn’t been to the bathroom all morning and probably needed to...

She immediately ran to the bathroom.

Mu Yichen saw her rushing so urgently, watched her back as she entered the bathroom, then turned to look at the spot where she’d been lying: sure enough, there was a patch of blood red.

Helpless, he sighed lightly, then immediately got up to change the sheets.

Qin Mu looked at her stained underwear and could only take it off and toss it in the trash can. After cleaning up, she peeked out from the bathroom to see a pair of pink panties right in front of her.

”Thanks!”

A hurried thanks, she took the panties and closed the door to change.

Mu Yichen stood with arms crossed at the bathroom door, as expected: they were too dirty to wear again.

”Do you think the car seat was stained too?”

Qin Mu, clothes changed and feeling refreshed, stood at the door and turned, asking him very seriously.

”Will you go clean it, then?”

Mu Yichen looked at her with that ’I don’t believe you’d go down there’ expression.

”Forget it! I’ll deal with it later!”

Even though she understood his look, she was too lazy to move and decisively shook her head and turned to walk to the bed.

Right now, no one should expect her to leave that bed; she hadn’t had enough sleep since coming back, moving straight into the apartment.

The apartment bed was so cold.

Mu Yichen lay back down; Qin Mu’s hand caressed the newly changed sheets. Mu’s skill at changing sheets seemed like he’d been specially trained: fast and excellent.

Qin Mu turned to look at him: ”Where did you put the changed sheets?”

”Given them to Auntie!”

Mu Yichen replied.

”What?”

She always asked him to wash the sheets whenever they got stained.

”Or what? Given your current attitude towards me!”

Do you still expect me to wash them?

Mu Yichen gave her a ’don’t even think about it’ look, Qin Mu pressed a hand to her forehead: ”Mu Yichen, you’re really...”

”They’re in the dirty clothes basket; I’ll wash them later!”

Mu Yichen thought for a while, unable to bear her anxiety.

Qin Mu...

”You’re impossible!”

Qin Mu glared at him, wanting to hit him but feeling weak in the legs, she decided to turn and continue facing away from him.

”If you keep this up, aren’t you afraid that my heart will really grow cold?”

Mu Yichen turned to look at her back, asking her calmly and steadily.

Qin Mu turned around: ”What do you mean?”

Mu Yichen said nothing, just looked at her steadily; he believed she would understand.

And sure enough, within half a minute, Qin Mu understood from looking into his eyes; inside she sighed deeply, but outwardly she was calm as she spoke: ”Several people have warned me like this. If I’m destined to part from you, I have no words to say.”

She thought it over, speaking slowly and earnestly.

Mu Yichen didn’t expect her to be so rational, raising a hand to gently touch her ear.

Qin Mu sensed the sudden warmth and felt a bit uneasy, her eyes warming up and her vision blurring.

”So easily, you’re letting me go?”

Mu Yichen asked her, his voice as though something was stuck in his throat, speaking the words with such difficulty.

Let go?

Qin Mu’s heart felt like it was being forcefully torn away from where it belonged.

She never wanted to let him go, a drop of tear silently rolled down from the corner of her eye pressed against the sheets, though it quickly vanished.

”Hmm? If I hold onto you, would you just let things go until we separate?”

Mu Yichen’s voice was very low, like it was coming from an ice cellar, very sinister, very damp, his pitch-black eyes filled with some sadness, yet intensely focused on the woman in his sight.

”Time to sleep!”

Qin Mu looked at him for a moment, unable to give him an answer, she decided to turn to sleep.

But Mu Yichen’s hand was on her face, firmly preventing her from avoiding.

”Qin Mu, how could I be so pitiful?”

Mu Yichen suddenly laughed out loud, asking her.
