His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1693: Chapter 472: The Beginning and the End (18)_2

Because a few days ago she told him, she planned to go to Paris after the New Year to accompany Xiao Wei for childbirth, so now, he is...

Watching her?

Qin Mu suddenly had this realization in her mind, and then looked at him with disbelief, her apricot eyes instantly becoming sharp.

She carried her unique stubbornness, and when Mu Yichen raised his eyes and met her gaze, although outwardly he was calm and devilishly charming, there was a different thought in his eyes.

Her suddenly sharp gaze must have been shocked by what he just said.

”I’m sleepy!”

Qin Mu knew she couldn’t win against his gaze, so she compromised.

Mu Yichen ignored her, only letting his hand slide down her waist, reaching into her pajama pants, below her abdomen.

Qin Mu’s eyes widened instantly: ”Mu Yichen, you...”

After that, all the words she wanted to use to scold him were stuck in her throat, then turned into saliva and were swallowed down.

Then throughout the long night, Mu Yichen suddenly became more energetic, and later Qin Mu even found it difficult to breathe, not knowing why he suddenly got excited.

——

In the morning, Qin Mu lay motionless in his arms, thinking about how to start telling him that she wanted to go to Paris.

Although Mu Yichen was holding her in his arms, knowing she wanted to talk seriously with him since New Year’s Eve, he pretended not to know anything, just holding her placidly, without saying a word.

”Mu Yichen!”

She still called his name, lightly drawing with her hand on his chest, afraid that if she didn’t speak now, their son and daughter would come knocking on the door, leaving them no time to talk.

They still had to go to the Qin Family for lunch, and in the afternoon, Mu Qingxin and her husband would bring the children over, leaving them no time to discuss this issue properly.

”Hmm!”

Mu Yichen responded, also sighing deeply in his heart.

”Why don’t we go together to accompany her for the childbirth, how about it?”

Qin Mu climbed up, pressing her hands on his chest, her beautiful eyes looking up at him, proposing her idea.

Mu Yichen’s gaze hesitated, but he then grabbed her hand pressing on his chest, frowning slightly.

”Let’s go together to accompany Xiao Wei for the childbirth. Once she has the baby, we can hire a good maternity matron and then come back together, how about that?”

That way, she could also give Jian Yan an account.

That way, Mu Yichen wouldn’t have to worry too much about her.

That way, her heart would feel better too.

”You want me to go with you? To take care of Jian Yan’s woman having a baby?”

Mu Yichen asked her, frowning.

”What can we do? You wouldn’t be at ease if I go by myself, and if we go together, it would be good to have mutual support.”

Qin Mu said as she thought, trying to persuade him.

”Let me think about it!”

Mu Yichen lowered his gaze, suddenly going silent.

Qin Mu, however, was restless in her heart, but before getting out of bed, she leaned over his face and gave him a firm kiss: ”Waiting for good news from you!”

Before Mu Yichen could raise his eyes, she had already gotten out of bed to freshen up.

Actually, Qin Mu was also very nervous, not knowing if she could succeed in convincing him to accompany her to Paris.

She was just afraid that Mu Yichen might suddenly become stubborn, always feeling that Xiao Wei was Jian Yan’s woman, and he already couldn’t stand Jian Yan, so naturally, he wouldn’t be willing to do anything for him.

But Jian Yan was her mentor.

Once a mentor, always like a father; Qin Mu believed she must work for her mentor, and as Mu Yichen was her husband, it seemed, he should contribute a little too, right? After all, her mentor should be his mentor too!

After washing up in the bathroom, Qin Mu put on light and beautiful makeup. She didn’t know why, but when Mu Yichen said he wanted to think about it, her mood suddenly improved.

It’s like her mind had shifted, making her immediately want to look dazzling, so she could enchant Mr. Mu and get him to follow her wherever she went.

It’s as if he had already agreed.

Excitement filled her heart, making her tense, even her breathing unconsciously becoming a bit stiff.

Qin Mu left the bathroom again and glanced at the bed, finding that Mu Yichen was still lying there, bare-chested, leaning against the pillow, looking at his phone.

Qin Mu instinctively wondered, what’s on the phone that’s so interesting to him?

Taking a closer look, isn’t he using her new phone?

Mu Yichen had a habit of smashing phones, yet hadn’t replaced hers with a new one.

Thinking about it, Qin Mu got a bit angry, walking over: ”Hey, what are you doing with my phone?”

”Qin Mingzhu called you, saying they’d arrive at 11:30 sharp!”

Mu Yichen placed the phone aside, nonchalantly reminding her.

Qin Mu...

Turns out it was that girl calling, Qin Mu looked at Mu Yichen again, walked over, picked up the phone, saw Qin Mingzhu’s number, and said nothing.

She just couldn’t help but look up at him, wanting to ask how his consideration was going, but didn’t know how to ask.

Mu Yichen looked at her too, his dark eyes calm as water, yet deep and captivating, making Qin Mu uneasily fret, her throat tightening.

”Anything else?”

Mu Yichen suddenly spoke, asking her.

Qin Mu...

”Want to take another nap?”

Mu Yichen asked again.

”No! I’ve already freshened up!”

Qin Mu immediately refused, and raised her hand to touch her little face.

Mu Yichen then lifted the quilt, and Qin Mu instinctively retreated, Mu Yichen looking at her, helplessly chuckling.

”Am I going to eat you?”

”Who knows?”

Mu Yichen asked her, in a tone suggesting Qin Mu was overreacting, but Qin Mu felt, that he could indeed eat her at any time.

”Aren’t we supposed to go to your family’s for lunch? Check what Mom has once again stuffed into the car?”

Mu Yichen placed his legs on the bedside, telling her lowly.

Qin Mu remembered how during Mid-Autumn Festival, Feng Fanghua knew they were going back home and stuffed their car full, with all sorts of things, almost overwhelming them, so she hurriedly went out.

Mu Yichen raised his eyes to watch her leave, sighed with a bit of distress, and slowly got up to freshen up.

Standing in front of the mirror, looking at the bite marks on his chest from someone, his dark eyes suddenly became mischievous and wanton.

Mu Yichen was shaving when his chin had just been lathered with foam, and his daughter ran in from outside, looking up at him.

Mu Yichen, with his chin up, looked down in the mirror at the little girl in a pink dress looking up at him with curiosity, his brows and eyes becoming heavy.

”Daddy, can I help you shave?”

Huanhuan suddenly asked.

Mu Yichen frowned: ”Of course not!”

”Why?”

Huanhuan was shocked, feeling upset, wanting to help Daddy.

”Because you’re still young and might hurt Daddy!”

Mu Yichen told her directly, and then continued to shave slowly.

Huanhuan already looked up at him, waiting for him to finish shaving, and suddenly said: ”Daddy, I’m not that clumsy! Hmph!”

Mu Yichen looked at the stubborn little girl in the mirror and was just about to lower himself for her to try, but she turned and ran away.

Mu Yichen watched her small figure running away, thinking, isn’t her pride a little too strong?

”Huanhuan, what’s wrong?”

Qin Mu happened to come out of Chengcheng’s room, seeing Huanhuan looking upset and asked.

”Daddy is bullying kids!”

Huanhuan rushed past her, leaving that sentence.

Qin Mu watched the petite figure running away in confusion, then looked at her own room; could it be that Mu Yichen made Mu Chenghuan unhappy?
