His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1662: Chapter 464: The Beginning and the End (10)_2

”Why? Isn’t it because you were determined to stand outside his door and insist on becoming his disciple? Otherwise, am I crazy to let my woman learn fashion design from someone who’s perfect in every way?”

He could have found her many excellent mentors at the time, but just because she admired Jian Yan, he went to find Jian Yan, humbled himself in a way he never had in his life.

Qin Mu’s eyes suddenly blurred a bit; she didn’t know how to continue talking to him.

”I never thought this was what you truly felt deep down! I was wrong!”

Qin Mu suddenly gave a disappointed smile and let go of his hand.

It was precisely because she suddenly let go that Mu Yichen seriously looked at her again. Seeing the disappointment in her eyes, he felt a bit unsettled in his heart, staring irritably out the window.

”I thought you admired him too!”

Qin Mu smiled again, her voice lacking any strength, as she lowered her head and sat there without saying another word.

Apart from the sound of the television, there was no other sound.

The international channel suddenly began broadcasting Miss Mermaid, Qin Mu’s ears perked up quietly, but when she turned to look at the TV, she no longer felt there was anything worth watching.

The joys and sorrows of others, what did they have to do with her?

She stood up: ”If we’re staying here tonight, I’ll go upstairs to rest for a while!”

”Don’t make me unable to find you!”

Qin Mu thought for a moment, then turned to look at him before leaving.

Mu Yichen only raised his eyes when she went upstairs, looking at her somewhat despondent back, he sighed irritably.

He never intended to make Qin Mu feel so upset, but some words just slipped out.

But regarding Jian Yan, later, Qin Mu truly didn’t know how much he regretted it.

When Qin Mu woke up, it was already dark. Grandpa called her, and Mu Yichen answered, telling Grandpa they were staying in the apartment tonight before hanging up, checking the time, and then heading to the kitchen.

For some reason, no matter how intense the argument was, they still needed to eat.

After all, food is the primary concern for the people.

When Qin Mu woke up and went downstairs, she found he wasn’t in the living room, but the TV was still on. She quickly descended the stairs, not seeing him anywhere in the space, the house eerily quiet.

She instinctively went toward the kitchen, not because she heard a sound, but because she saw the light on.

Finding him carrying soup to the dining hall, Qin Mu’s heart relaxed again.

He had already scared her twice that day.

She didn’t know if she could soothe him, but now, she wanted to try.

So, she couldn’t control her heart and ran toward him, tightly hugging him from the side.

”Mu Yichen, can we not have a cold war anymore? I don’t like it at all!”

Mu Yichen said nothing, just lowered his eyes while she hugged him.

”Can’t we be good to each other? Let’s help Xiao Wei find a mentor, and live our days well, can’t we?”

She looked at him tearfully, appearing so fragile and in need of help.

Mu Yichen gazed at her very calmly.

He knew she wanted to comfort him.

”I just want to ask you one thing, do you want to go to Paris?”

Mu Yichen’s voice was stuffy and heavy.

Qin Mu’s large eyes stared directly at him, unable to speak for a while.

”Just this one thing, if you say you don’t have such thoughts, we can immediately reconcile, otherwise, how can I feel at ease?”

Mu Yichen asked her, very earnestly, seriously, not allowing any doubt.

Qin Mu slowly released him.

”A few days ago, I indeed thought about it, I intended to fly there right after the New Year, but not to find Jian Yan, rather to take care of Xiao Wei. Since Jian Yan is my mentor and Xiao Wei is my mentor’s woman, I have the responsibility and duty to accompany her during her delivery.”

Qin Mu explained to him.

”Let’s eat first!”

Mu Yichen said indifferently, finally looking away from her cold gaze, pulling out a chair to sit down.

Qin Mu stood beside him for a long time, as he no longer spoke, she didn’t want to move either.

And she didn’t have the slightest appetite, even though he had cooked with care.

Ultimately, she sat beside him and picked up her chopsticks.

At times like this, anyone could fall apart, but she couldn’t.

Whether it was Mu Yichen or Jian Yan, during this period, she couldn’t allow herself any discomfort; she had to wait for everything to calm down before allowing herself a bit of accident.

The dining hall was so quiet, quiet as if there was no one there.
