Chapter 1480: Chapter 16: Before the Great Battle (Part 2)

No one doubted the words of the Old Marshal who once fought alongside Fatty on Canglang Star. In fact, besides Leray, which placed unconditional trust in Fatty, the first to take trust into action were the Old Marshal Li Cunxin and Military God Hastings.

The trust of the two great Marshals of the Fei Alliance was rewarded on the first day of the bandit army’s southward advance into the Resk Star System. A resounding victory made everyone, including Leefer and the members of the Supreme Joint Council, shut their mouths!

And now, the Leifeng Star Army and the bandit army have reached an agreement!

This means that internal restraints have disappeared. The bandit army, a monster that has struggled step by step from the margins to now, has enough space to wield its claws!

”This is the combat plan proposed by the bandit army...” Feng Zhi opened a document on the central computer console: ”They use the bandit army’s First Armored Division as the main force to launch a frontal attack on the enemy in Frenso. The Second Armored Division advances along the 130 defense line, after defeating Jiepeng’s 1912 Armored Division, they will maneuver west of Frenso Town, cutting off the enemy’s retreat and forming an encirclement.”

Feng Zhi’s pointer lightly touched the two red arrows before and after Frenso Town, then fell on the third arrow head from north to south: ”These are the three divisions of the Feiyang 33rd Army. They are moving south from the Charloks Mountain Range, joining the Frenso Town campaign. The objective is to cooperate with the bandit army’s two armored divisions to annihilate the enemy in Frenso Town.”

The generals present nodded in agreement. Based on their understanding of the bandit army’s combat capability, this battle plan was akin to a lion pouncing on a rabbit. Not to mention that there are three armored divisions of the 33rd Army and other forces around Frenso, totaling nearly two divisions of troops. Just the bandit army’s two armored divisions alone are enough to tear the mere three Western Alliance divisions in Frenso Town to shreds!

Looking at the troop deployment, it’s evident that Fatty has a greater goal.

Indeed, as Feng Zhi switched the screen display, everyone realized that the multiple attack arrows that originally converged on Frenso Town had merged into one, and this single arrow was actually......

”Maneuver and outflank, he wants to eat Bellif’s main forces!” A Tatania Vice Admiral jumped up without regard for his image.

Immediately, there was an uproar in the hall. No one had expected the bandit army’s combat intention was to advance with six divisions from Frenso Town, maneuvering west of Sunset Mountain.

On the screen, that huge red arrow was like a steel knife, slashing across the western front of Phoenix City. Stretching nearly three hundred kilometers from south to north, the bandit army would pass through six fiercely contested defense sections!

Along the way, they were almost facing the entire Bellif Northern Group Army!

”This is too risky!”

”We can’t do this!”

For a moment, the officers excitedly stood up one after another.

All the people present were commanders from countries allied with the bandit army. They had formed a new group centered around the bandit army and the Chuckna Military Department, with Hastings and Li Cunxin at the helm.

In this new group, anyone can take risks, but the bandit army cannot afford to take risks.

Although looking at the combat diagram, the Resk Main Army had already diverted all forces from Phoenix City and its surroundings to Sunset Mountain. However, in terms of timing, they were already lagging behind the enemy.

No one knows how long Sunset Mountain can hold out. It was evident that the Resk Main Army’s main forces would need at least twenty hours to be deployed to the Sunset Mountain battlefield.

The Western Alliance Army had already made sufficient preparations in the early stages. And the hastily gathered forces of the Resk Main Army could not compare with their opponents in morale, tactical plan completeness, or logistics. Once Sunset Mountain fell before the main forces arrived, allowing the Western Alliance Army to rush into the Phoenix City Plain, even if Chen Fengxi had immense abilities, he couldn’t stop them, not to mention forming an encirclement against the enemy along with the bandit army.

At that time, if the bandit army cuts across to the west of Sunset Mountain, not only would it be meaningless, but they would also fall into an enemy trap. Bellif, renowned for stability, precision, and ruthlessness, would definitely not pass up the meat delivered to their doorstep. If Bellif knows the bandit army for the Fei Alliance is like the Judger for the Western Alliance, he might even abandon Sunset Mountain and spare no expense to return and consume the bandit army!

”That Fatty is quite bold.” Li Cunxin smiled and said to Hastings beside him: ”...What do you think?”

”It’s a good opportunity. If Bellif cannot quickly understand the bandit army’s combat prowess, cannot discern the hidden nuances of Fatty’s punch,” Hastings said calmly, ”he will suffer.”

The Command Mecha swayed forward along the crater-laden highway. Pereira stood on the mecha command platform, tightly gripping the railing, his body swaying back and forth with the mecha’s movements.

From the high command platform, the wide highway and the open space on both sides were filled with mighty advancing troops.

The imposing and majestic Heavy Mechas, resembling moving fortresses, insect-like Medium-sized Mechas, dust-laden running Human-shaped Single Soldier Mechas, Logistics Troops’ Transport Mechas, heavy off-road trucks, and soldiers marching on foot carrying guns or Portable Energy Cannons, formed dozens of parallel winding dragon-like columns stretching from east to west.

The tail of the dragon was still beyond the horizon, while the head had already entered the Frenso City District. Under a few skyscraping space cities and hundreds-meter-high buildings, this long queue seemed like ants under a towering tree.
