Chapter 1472: Chapter 14: Duel to the Death (Part 2)

Judger! The heart pounded violently with the emergence of these three words.

Whether it was the tall Zeng Xu or the small-bodied Hamshik, at this moment, both felt their scalps tingle, and their limbs turn cold.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven... A total of seven Judgers raced swiftly through the jungle. The uneven terrain, dense forests, could not slow their steps at all.

These almost legendary terrifying Spartan Warriors had once, with ten mechas, directly pierced through the Fei Alliance’s line, leading the Western Alliance Armored Forces behind them to swarm in through the breach, unstoppable.

Afterwards, it was said that a staff officer who watched the battle records admitted that to stop these Mechanical Warriors, it was necessary to deploy an Armored Division on every kilometer of the frontline. The old method of constructing a frontline over ten kilometers long with one Armored Division, supported by one or two Armored Divisions stationed behind the defenses of two or three divisions, was completely ineffective against the Judgers!

This claim might be somewhat exaggerated, but the defeat in the Ryan Battlefield made many believe it.

Zeng Xu pressed tightly to the ground, turned off the engine, and activated the electric power. Beside him, Hamshik also activated all electronic shielding and camouflage features of the Scavenger.

The two Chuckna Warriors knew that once discovered by the enemy, it would mean immediate destruction of their mecha and death. Even if only one Judger came, not to mention seven, they couldn’t contend with them, being ordinary Mechanical Warriors piloting Eighth Generation Reconnaissance Mechas with only a hand speed of thirty-five movements.

In terms of both operational skills and mecha performance, compared to the opposition, they were like two rabbits beside a lion. In the face of absolute power, there was not even a sliver of a chance to win.

However, the two quickly realized something was amiss. This Judger team appeared from the direction the gunshots had just sounded, running southwest.

They were not heading toward the Mabry Cathedral, and even deviated from the farmhouse where a bandit armored company was stationed. The mecha’s scarred exterior, the two mechas trailing behind, the frequent glances back—made them seem more like they were fleeing, as opposed to a powerful special ops team on a mission.

Zeng Xu and Hamshik could hardly suppress the shock in their hearts. Could it be that the bandit army had defeated these Judgers, driving them to flee?

The endless trees resembled a large green rug, spreading out with the undulating mountains into the distance. Moments later, the Judger team had vanished into the sprawling jungle.

”Let’s go.” Zeng Xu got up, hunched over and gestured to Hamshik.

Hamshik nodded, silently sliding down the hill behind the Little Antelope, heading toward the direction where the Judger team vanished.

The two partners, who understood each other’s thoughts, knew what was on the other’s mind. Their reconnaissance mission required them to ensure the safety of the 3342 Regiment’s flank. More crucially, they wanted to know what exactly that Judger team had encountered!

In the jungle, they traversed for over ten minutes. Suddenly, Zeng Xu and Hamshik heard the sound of intense cannon fire and explosions coming from the front.

The two quickly passed through a thick shrub and crawled up a hill using both hands and feet.

In the mid-hill position of another hill seven or eight hundred meters diagonally below, it had turned into a hell filled with the light of energy cannons and explosions.

A few tall, straight trees snapped in a circular explosion and fell crisscrossed toward the ground. The flying dirt splashed high like water, and the whole mountain trembled in the violent explosions. The treetops swayed rapidly like duckweed over a school of fish scrambling for food, in the rippling wave crests.

Zeng Xu frantically opened the mecha’s long-range viewer, focusing the lens on the mid-hill. Through the gaps in the leaves and between tree trunks, dozens of black Devil Mechas appeared, darting ghost-like and attacking with punches and kicks. Their target was indeed that Judger team who had just rushed past.

For a moment, Zeng Xu and Hamshik’s breaths almost halted.

On one side was the renowned Judger, and on the other, those Devil Mechas were the Twelfth Generation Mechas of the Fei Alliance—Rampage—that had spread throughout the entire army!

Although it was their first time seeing the Rampage, it did not prevent them from immediately associating these mechas with the Twelfth Generation Mechas from the bandit soldiers they joined in combat.

The black bodies, devil-like appearance—this was what the bandit soldiers referred to as the most elite War God Army?!

Now, they were engaged in battle with the Judgers.

The two Level 7 Warriors with a hand speed no more than thirty-something movements, lay on the hillside, holding their breath, with their chests pounding, watching the battle before them.

******************************************

”Attack with full force!”

Wood roared, crazily pouncing on a Devil Mecha before him. The ion light saber in the Judger’s right hand was already fueled by the engine, extending nearly two meters in a menacing blue flare, slashing down!

Following Wood’s roar, the other six Judgers simultaneously launched their strongest attacks. Every move was a life-for-life fight.

This team, which had just broken away from the pursuit at the cost of three Judgers, never expected that, without running beyond twenty kilometers, they would encounter an intercepting team of Devil Mechas.
