Chapter 441, Let the Ye Family Know the Power of My Ning Family

Huang Yingheng’s eyes bulged when he saw Ning Tu, and he almost collapsed to his knees.

He steadied himself against the table, barely remained standing, while looking at Ning Tu with disbelief. “Young… Young Master Ning Tu?! You… you haven’t come for the Earth Cores, have you!?”

He had once been the third-in-command of the Huang Family. Naturally, he knew about the affairs between the Huang Family and the Ning Family. He had even met Ning Tu before and knew that this man was a Level 100 Player from the Ning Family. Even the Huang Family Elder would bow down in respect upon seeing him.

However, the person directly responsible for handling Ning Family matters had always been the Huang Family Elder. Huang Yingheng only knew that the Huang Family needed to supply Earth Cores to the Ning Family at regular intervals. But how many they needed to supply, and when they needed to send people to the Ning Family, those were matters he had no knowledge of.

Recently, he had been busy dealing with the Ye Family’s integration of the Map Resources, and had forgotten about the Ning Family matters. Only now, when Ning Tu came knocking, did he remember that the Huang Family still had this mess to deal with.

Seeing that the other party recognised him, Ning Tu swept his gaze over Huang Yingheng and said with a smile. “Oh? You recognise me? Well, you do look somewhat familiar. You were probably present the last time I personally visited the Huang Family, weren’t you?”

As he spoke, Ning Tu glanced outside at the Ye Family plaque that was buried under debris and rubble, and said. “You should be from the Huang Family, so how has the Huang Family now become the Ye Family?”

“Young Master Ning, it is a long story…” Huang Yingheng was perceptive and knew that Ning Tu was someone he could not afford to offend. So, after just a moment of thought, he immediately adopted a respectful attitude, not daring to offend this person at all.

“Quickly, bring tea for Young Master Ning. Please take the seat of honour!”

Among the people nearby, there were many from the Ye Family who did not recognise Ning Tu, so they looked at each other in confusion, not understanding what was happening.

It was only after Huang Yingheng desperately signalled to these people that they went to have servants come and properly attend to Ning Tu.

Huang Yingheng’s flattery and obsequiousness pleased Ning Tu greatly.

Zhuang Meng reached out his hand, helping Ning Tu down from his shoulder.

Afterward, Ning Tu said with satisfaction. “As expected of someone from the Huang Family. You certainly understand propriety better than the so-called Ye Family. If you had respectfully invited me in earlier, I wouldn’t have needed to kill so many people. I’m not like my Sister, after all. I do not enjoy killing the innocent.”

Huang Yingheng smiled obsequiously and looked in the direction from which Ning Tu had come. Along that path, several buildings had been directly flattened, with some shattered corpses buried beneath.

Obviously, Ning Tu had killed quite a few Ye Family guards on his way here.

His facial muscles twitched, and cold sweat immediately broke out. He silently vowed never to offend this harbinger of death.

When he said he did not like ‘killing the innocent’, that was only in comparison to his Sister, who was no different from a Demon.

In reality, if this harbinger of death became angry, levelling a Third Tier Ancient Noble Family would definitely not be anything unusual.

Two hours later…

“So the Huang Family is just gone, just like that?” Ning Tu held a teacup, sipping tea as he spoke.

His frame was small and thin, a true midget, so a teacup that would be perfectly sized for ordinary people looked like a soup bowl in his hands. It certainly made his tea-drinking appear quite comical.

However, no one dared to laugh at him. After all, standing beside him was a Puppet with ‘Level 100’ floating above his head.

Huang Yingheng was extremely respectful towards him and nodded. “Yes, so now both the Huang Family and the Loong Family are completely gone, leaving only the Ye Family.”

“Haha! I never expected so many interesting things to happen to Third Tier Ancient Noble Families on the outskirts of the Western Border!” Ning Tu laughed, then put down his teacup.

“But for us, this is merely a struggle between ants. We don’t care about all this. I only want to know one thing – where are our Ning Family’s Earth Cores!? My Sister urgently needs them for her breakthrough. As long as I get the Earth Core, I don’t care whether this place is surnamed Huang or Ye.”

“Well, about that…” Huang Yingheng deliberated for a moment, looking troubled.

Originally, he had no authority to use the Ye Family’s resources. Only Lu Fan and Ye Wuxian had that authority.

But now, neither Lu Fan nor Ye Wuxian was here, and he could not contact either of them.

If he did not give Ning Tu an answer, the entire Huang Family Residence would likely become a sea of blood and mountain of corpses…

After weighing his options, Huang Yingheng could only grit his teeth and say. “We understand. I will immediately have someone check the inventory for Earth Core and bring all of them to you.”

“Good, I’ll wait for you here.” Ning Tu seemed quite reasonable, giving Huang Yingheng enough time.

Soon, Huang Yingheng had people bring all the Earth Core.

However, there were not that many Earth Cores in the wooden box, only a dozen or so.

Seeing these Earth Cores, Ning Tu was clearly displeased.

“Only this much? The Huang Family is supposed to provide our Ning Family with one hundred Earth Cores. You can’t even produce half that amount. How am I supposed to report back?”

Huang Yingheng was sweating profusely and quickly said. “Please calm your anger, Young Master Ning. It’s just that the Ye Family has only just taken over the Huang Family’s Map Resources, and the Earth Core Magma Cave has only recently resumed operations. We can only offer this many Earth Cores at the moment… If you give us some time, we will definitely deliver the full amount of Earth Cores!”

Ning Tu narrowed his eyes and did not speak.

But behind him, Zhuang Meng suddenly waved his hand, sending out a blast of powerful energy that struck Huang Yingheng.

Caught off guard, Huang Yingheng did not even have time to use a Defence Skill and naturally could not withstand a blow from a Level 100 Puppet, even if it was just a casually expelled gust from his palm.

Huang Yingheng let out a muffled groan as he was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground and spitting blood.

The Ye Family members nearby were all shocked, but faced with Ning Tu and Zhuang Meng, none of them dared to make a sound.

Only then did Ning Tu speak languidly. “Wait? You’re asking my Ning Family to wait for a Third Tier Ancient Noble Family? Haha! What a joke! If we didn’t need you to mine for our Ning Family, just for that statement alone, I would have slaughtered everyone here today!”

After a pause, Ning Tu took a breath and said. “Forget it, you’re just some pawn. Even if I killed you, the so-called Ye Family would not understand the weight my Ning Family’s words carry.”

“Where is the Head of the Ye Family? Have her come see me. You haven’t even prepared what our Ning Family requested. If she doesn’t suffer a bit, I’m afraid this so-called Ye Family won’t understand the might of my Ning Family!”
