Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 432, The New Pet Dragon is Socially Anxious?!

Translator: Silavin

A small eggshell naturally could not shield the Little Baby Dragon’s body.

Lu Fan could see that it  was especially unique, completely different from other Pet Dragons.

Since it had not eaten its eggshell, its size had not expanded. Currently, this little one was not much bigger than a kitten. Its body was hazy and indistinct, unlike other Pet Dragons that had clearly defined scales.

At first glance, it somewhat resembled a Ghost, the Undead Type Monster. It appeared dark green, with the green being so deep it was almost black. At the same time, it also looked like a Giant Dragon-shaped liquid, faintly gleaming with an enchanting lustre.

Looking at such a socially anxious Baby Dragon, Lu Fan did not know whether to laugh or cry. He carefully removed the eggshell it was using to cover its body.

Immediately, the Baby Dragon’s full appearance was exposed before Lu Fan.

It was similar to Xiao Cui, without many of the sharp edges of Combat Specialised Dragons. It also did not look like it had a physical form as well. Rather, it looked like a blob of poison that had gained sentience.

[Well, wasn’t Xiao Cui something like this at first?]

Xiao Cui also did not have that much of a ferocious appearance – not what one would think of when imagining a Dragon. She resembled jade and had a unique beauty to her.

When Lu Fan took away the eggshell it was using to cover its body, the Baby Dragon suddenly panicked, backing against the eggshell, making *jiji* sounds several times, looking afraid. It was like an ant whose rock had been overturned.

Lu Fan did not know whether to laugh or cry as he slowly handed the eggshell in his hand to the Baby Dragon, saying. “You’ve just hatched. You need to eat your eggshell to grow strong. Otherwise, you’ll stay this small and won’t be able to grow up.”

Lu Fan was its Master, and although the latter could not understand Lu Fan’s words, it could roughly sense the meaning.

Lu Fan also had no malice, and although the little Baby Dragon was still afraid, after Lu Fan waved his hand to send several Dragon Heads to one side, the little one no longer tucked its head down like a little chicken.

It carefully stretched out its small claws, took the eggshell that Lu Fan handed to it, and began to eat it with a *crunch crunch*.

However, after eating, it just looked at Lu Fan expectantly, showing no intention of breaking the eggshell to eat by itself.

Seeing this, Lu Fan could only take on the role of a ‘Dedicated Father’, breaking the eggshell for it and feeding it to its mouth.

Under Lu Fan’s attentive care, the little one became less shy toward him than before. The speed at which it ate the eggshell also increased.

Lu Fan also took advantage of the time while feeding this little one to open its Pet Panel and check what Attributes it had.

[Such a socially anxious Dragon shouldn’t be a Combat Specialised Dragon, right? If it really is one, even after it reaches Adulthood and Level 100, it probably still would not dare to engage in direct confrontation with its enemies…]

The facts were indeed as Lu Fan had anticipated, it definitely could not be considered a Combat Specialised Dragon.

·         Current Poison Effects: Corrosion

Hell’s Fatal Poison (Active, LV1) – The Hell Poison Dragon releases a cloud of poison in a designated area, forming Poisonous Mist. Enemies within its range suffer from the Hell Poison Dragon King’s Poison Effect. The longer they stay in the Poisonous Mist, the higher the stacks of Poison – no upper limit.

Poison Dragon Needle (Active, LV1) — The Hell Poison Dragon’s tail hides a poisonous needle. Stabbing an enemy with it will instantly cause ten stacks of Poison Effect on the enemy.

In terms of Attributes, the Hell Poison Dragon King’s Attributes were roughly the same as Xiao Cui’s when she was born. There was nothing particularly outstanding except for their Mana Attribute.

Lu Fan felt that this little Poison Dragon was very similar to Xiao Cui, but the difference was that Xiao Cui applied Buff to her allies, while this little one’s main ability was to apply Debuff onto others.

Although the Hell Poison Dragon King could also cause damage to her enemies, strictly speaking, her function should be to weaken the enemy, similar to some Hidden Profession like Witches. So, strictly speaking, although the Hell Poison Dragon King had the ability to kill, she could not be classified as a Combat Specialised Dragon.

Despite this, Lu Fan was not disappointed.

If Lu Fan had to pick the strongest Pet Dragon among all his Pet Dragons, Lu Fan would definitely choose Xiao Cui without hesitation.

Why? Because it was Xiao Cui that allowed the other Pet Dragons to demonstrate three to four times their own strength.

This was the power of a Support Specialised Dragon. Lu Fan did not need a Support Specialised Dragon to have High Combat Power, he just needed it to provide a breakthrough improvement to his own strength, or a fatal weakening to his enemies. Either one would make it a powerful, indispensable Pet Dragon.

Xiao Cui’s strength was undisputed, so Lu Fan was very much looking forward to this little one’s future potential.

Her future potential could be seen from her Skills.

At present, her poison could only cause Corrosion Effect to her enemies, but with the Origin of All Poisons Skill, Lu Fan could collect various types of poisons for her, making her poison increasingly formidable.

In the future, poisons with Effects like Blinding, Movement Speed Reduction, Paralysis, and so on could all be collected. At that time, when the Hell Poison Dragon King releases her Skills, she would be unstoppable.

One breath of Hell’s Fatal Poison would directly subject enemies to various Debuffs, reducing their Combat Power to less than a tenth. At that time, when Lu Fan engaged them in combat, he would be able to easily defeat them!
