Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 417, Still Planning to Hold Back?

Translator: Silavin

The Huang and Loong Families came with imposing momentum, having invested nearly all their manpower into this battle. This showed how determined they were to crush the Ye Family.

Who would have thought that in the end, they would shatter upon first contact with Lu Fan, without any power to fight back.

The two Ancient Noble Families did not know that this was actually the result of Lu Fan showing mercy.

If Lu Fan wanted, he could have directly let Xiao Cui transform into her Divine Tree Of Life Form, which could provide double the Enhancement Buff to everyone present, allowing the Jade Mirror Image skill to take twice the Effect.

At that time, the number of Fallen Corpse Puppets and Pet Dragon that Lu Fan commanded could double again!

If he further let Xiao Cui activate Dragon Domain, he would be cutting off all routes of retreat for the two Ancient Noble Families. This one Skill would make Lu Fan and his Pet Dragons’ Combat Power soar even higher while weakening everyone present.

If he had done either, the power gap between both sides would be even greater.

Overall, Lu Fan truly had ten thousand methods to completely dominate the two Ancient Noble Families, but he did not want to use all his trump cards.

In his Golden Dragon King Form, Lu Fan now numbered five.

Four of them directly charged into the Monster Tide and Players, slaughtering in all directions, with none able to stop them.

While another one directly attacked the Huang Family Elder and Loong Changkong.

Lu fan spewed out a Dragon Breath, from Dragon Language Replication, and gave the Huang Family Elder and Loong Changkong a headache.

However, admittedly, in this form, his Damage Output was not really that good. Furthermore, since his Level was still low, the Huang Family Elder and Loong Changkong could withstand the Dragon Breath spewed by him.

Even so, two were pinned down by Lu Fan, and had no strength to help their people resist the attacks from Lu Fan’s Pets and Fallen Corpse Puppet. They were only able to helplessly watch as their men were swept away like dead leaves.

Their eyes were bloodshot, their hearts were bleeding.

In today’s battle, how much would remain for the Huang and Loong Families?

As Level 99 and 98 Players, when pushed to the brink, they would never kneel and beg for mercy like Loong Xing.

Overwhelmed by rage, they burst forth with shocking might. Facing Lu Fan, both used everything in their arsenal, wanting to kill him.

Because, for them, they were not completely without hope.

If they could kill Lu Fan, then this crisis brought upon by these Summons would naturally be resolved.

The Huang Family Elder no longer just controlled Lightning Element Talisman, but also threw out a Fire Talisman beside him, activating it.

Instantly, lightning surrounded the Huang Family Elder while raging flames filled the sky.

The two most destructive Element Talismans released their Skills simultaneously, continuously bombarding Lu Fan.

With these two Talismans, even Loong Changkong, with his Heavy Amour, would not dare to take a direct hit.

However, contrary to their expectations, Lu Fan did not even try to dodge, He chose to Tank through all the hits!

Lightning and fire struck him, all blocked by Lu Fan’s gleaming golden scales. Though they left patches of scorched marks on his scales, clearly, they did not cause any substantial damage.

At this point, the muscles on the Huang Family Elder’s face violently twitched.

In all these years, he had only seen Loong Erhu able to directly Tank the Skills from both his Fire and Lightning Talismans without taking Damage.

However, even back then, Loong Erhu only lasted three Skills. If he continued to be bombarded by these Skills, he certainly would not have been able to hold out.

Yet, Lu Fan had taken several Skill in succession yet remained completely unharmed – his Defence was simply Heaven-defying to the extreme!

[Just what in the world is the Dragon Tamer Profession!? How can their Physical Resistance be so broken!?]

If the Huang Family Elder’s attacks could not harm Lu Fan, Loong Changkong would naturally not be able to do so as well.

Loong Changkong’s Hidden Profession was not particularly strong in Attack. At this moment, his body emanated surging Blood Qi, and each time he struck, his spear would emit a sky-piercing sound.

He blasted out blood-coloured long spears, hoping it would firmly pierce Lu Fan’s body.

However, Loong Changkong’s attack was completely ineffective. In fact, the blood-coloured spears shattering upon contact with Lu Fan’s scales, leaving only white marks.

For a moment, the battle between the three had reached a temporary stalemate, since Lu Fan, in his Golden Dragon King Form, was not particularly outstanding in terms of Attack either. Thus, the Huang Family Elder and Loong Changkong were not in any danger of being injured by Lu Fan.

However, being able to maintain a balance against two top Fourth Profession Players was already an impossible feat for a Level 40-something Second Profession Player. Anyone who learned of this would have their jaws drop in shock.

The longer Lu Fan fought with these two, the more disadvantageous the situation became for the Huang and Loong Families.

At this point, though the battle had barely begun, over half of the Monster Tide and the two Families’ Players had already been slaughtered by Lu Fan’s Forces.

Even those of the Ye Family stood dumbfounded in place, forgetting to charge out of the Ye Family Residence to fight.

From start to finish, it was completely Lu Fan’s one-man army that slaughtered the two Ancient Noble Families’ Players.

If this continued, the Huang Family Elder and Loong Changkong might become the only ones left before they could defeat Lu Fan.

The Huang Family Elder was anxious. While fighting Lu Fan, he called out loudly to the Loong Family Patriarch. “Even at this point, you still plan to hold back!? If we don’t kill this boy, our two Families will cease to exist! What’s the point of us still being wary of each other!?”

Loong Changkong, riding his Mount, gritted his teeth after hearing this and said. “What about you!? Don’t think I don’t know that your Profession only amounts to this much!”

The Huang Family Elder had no time for scheming and declared. “Fine! Let’s both use our full power! We must kill this boy before things get worse! After we eliminate the Ye Family, our two Families will have a three-month truce to recover. How to handle the Ye Family’s resources can be decided after three months!”

“Agreed!” Loong Changkong immediately agreed.

Following this, the Huang Family Elder threw out a third Talisman with a wave of his hand.

At the same time, the Lightning and Fire Talismans no longer displayed their power, instead withdrawing their Skills and flying back to the Huang Family Elder’s side.

The third Talisman thrown out by the Huang Family Elder emanated the energy of the Ice Element. It was clearly an Ice Element Talisman.

As it was thrown out by the Huang Family Elder, this Talisman instantly flew above Lu Fan’s head, exploding in mid-air and transforming into flying snowflakes that filled the sky.

These snowflakes looked delicate and weak, but upon landing on Lu Fan, they immediately transformed into thick ice.

In an instant, Lu Fan was covered by a thick layer of ice, seemingly controlled by the Huang Family Elder’s Skill, unable to move for the moment.
