Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 424, Fiery Dragon Fury

Translator: Silavin

Golden Dragon King’s Judgment Wings (Active Skill) – The wings of the Golden Dragon King burns with golden flames. Attacking with the two wings now causes Additional Damage, whereby the Damage is correlated to Caster’s Endurance Attribute; the Higher the Endurance Attribute, the Higher the Damage.
It was a simple Skill Description. In summary, the Endurance Attribute was used to calculate the Attack Power, allowing Lu Fan to deal massive amounts of Damage after transforming.

Since the Damage was correlated to his Endurance Attribute, he could now use the Golden Dragon King’s Judgment Wings to compensate for his insufficient Damage Output and become a frontliner who could both tank and Deal Damage.

Lu Fan contentedly caressed his third Mythical Grade item for a moment before letting go and checking what the other Scrolls were.

The second and third Scrolls were the same, and Lu Fan was familiar with them – they were Epic Equipment Grade Enhancement Scrolls.

This was great news. Lu Fan could now upgrade his other two Diamond Grade  – Underworld Serpent’s Cry and Flaming Meteor Sword – to the Epic Grade.

Lu Fan did not hesitate and used both Equipment Grade Enhancement Scrolls.

Finally, he had two more Epic Grade equipment in his hand.

After Underworld Serpent’s Cry became Epic Grade, its Attributes greatly increased. At the same time, its two Skills: Serpents Swarm the Sky and Serpent’s Hidden Arrow, were both Enhanced to different degrees.

Serpents Swarm the Sky increased the number of Magic Arrows released from 12 to 15, and the strength of each arrow increased from 20% to 30%.

Serpent’s Hidden Arrow increased the maximum charge damage from 500% to 800%, making it even more powerful.

As for the Flaming Meteor Sword, after it became Epic Grade, the blade turned completely crimson, like a burning hot iron.

Its Additional Trait, of increasing Skill Power whenever Fire Element Skills were being used, had increased from 50%. to 100. It also gained another Additional Trait that dealt 50% Additional Fire Element Damage when attacking.

Its Attributes had also improved significantly compared to before, and its Level Requirement had changed to 45, which was fine since Lu Fan could still use it.

The two Equipment Grade Enhancement Scrolls directly upgraded Lu Fan’s last two Diamond equipment to Epic Grade. Currently, almost all of Lu Fan’s equipment were either Mythical or Epic Grade, with only a few in the Platinum or Gold Grades. This was an utterly luxurious line up.

As for the last Scroll, Lu Fan had never seen it before. When he picked it up and looked at it, he immediately became delighted.

[Another great item!]

This was a very rare Pet Enchantment Scroll called Shadow Corruption Additional Attack Scroll.

After using it on a Pet, the Pet would have a Passive Skill to add Shadow Corruption to their Attack. When the Caster Deals Physical Damage, an Additional Damage equal to 20% of the original Damage would be applied to the enemy.

Whether by coincidence or not, this Pet Enchantment Scroll, from its name to its Effect, seemed tailor-made for Ye Sha.

Ye Sha could already ignore all enemies’ Physical Resistance and deal massive amounts of Physical Damage. Adding the Shadow Corruption Additional Attack Skill would be like adding wings to a tiger. Not many people could withstand Ye Sha’s Shadow Assassination, let alone bear an extra 20% Additional Damage after he used Shadow Assassination.

Moreover, this was a Pet Enchantment Scroll, not a Pet Skill Book.

Among Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons, only the Fallen Corpse Holy Dragon King and Ye Sha could use it.

Since the Fallen Corpse Holy Dragon Kings were Utility Dragons, using this Scroll on them would be a waste. Ye Sha was absolutely the most suitable Dragon for this Scroll.

Currently, Ye Sha was still ‘harvesting’ the Players and Monsters from the Huang and Loong Families in front of the Ye Family Residence. Thus, he was not currently here.

So, Lu Fan would need to use it on Ye Sha after he returned back to the Ye Family Residence.

After putting away this Scroll, Lu Fan took out the last reward from the Divine Grade Treasure Map. It was a Skill Book for Fiery Dragon Fury.

Fiery Dragon Fury (Active, Lv1) – Can designate an Allied Unit with Dragon Bloodline, igniting the flames within their Bloodline. In this state, they would affect all surrounding enemies and put them into a Frenzied State for ten minutes. Frenzied Enemies will attack the Unit that released Fiery Dragon Fury regardless of everything else.
This Skill Book was applicable to Dragon Tamers, Dragon Priests, and Silver Dragon Riders. Its function was very clear – to select a Unit with Dragon Bloodline, make it a tank, and force enemies to attack it.

This Skill was very similar to Knights’ Second Profession Skill – Taunt. Using that Skill, Knights could draw aggro from their enemies and create an excellent opening for their allied Damage Dealers.

In the future, Lu Fan could have Xiao Cui replicate a version of himself in his Golden Dragon King Form, and then have it use Fiery Dragon Fury to attract his opponents’ attacks.

This way, his team would have a fully qualified tank!

[This is really just what I need!] Lu Fan learned it directly, so he could become a qualified tank in the future.

With this, all the Rewards from the Divine Grade Treasure Map had been gone through, and Lu Fan was very satisfied with his gains. The only disappointing fact was that this Divine Grade Treasure Map did not yield another Dragon Egg. Now, Lu Fan still has an empty Pet Slot available.

Lu Fan could only hope to quickly find the so-called ‘Flying Immortal Ancient Shrine’. There, he would be able to claim his second Divine Grade Treasure Map. Perhaps, it was there where he might acquire his eighth Pet Dragon.

Of course, thinking about these things now was getting ahead of himself.

Lu Fan knew that near the Ye Family Residence, there was still some mess he needed to clean up.

“Xing Chen, let’s go back.” Lu Fan patted Xing Chen’s back. She did not respond coldly but very obediently this time, extended her Dragon Claws, tearing open the void, and then carrying Lu Fan through the Space Rift.

By continuously activating Starry Space Passage, Lu Fan directly rode Xing Chen, traversing a hundred kilometres and returning to the Ye Family Residence.

Lu Fan and his Pet Dragon literally tore through Space to arrive, leaving everyone who witnessed it too shocked for words.

Especially Loong Changkong, who still had not gotten up from the ground. His Crippled and Bleeding had left him at death’s door. He now had a deathly pale face and was on his last few breaths.

Seeing Lu Fan’s return while a Heavenly Tribulation-like explosion came from the direction of his Loong Family Residence, Loong Changkong anxiously growled, “What did you do to my Loong Family?! MY Loong Family’s three hundred years of history, how could you possibly…“

Before Loong Changkong could finish speaking, a blade slashed down from above, directly cutting him in half with one strike.

The Shadow Dragon Human King appeared from the void. After killing Loong Changkong, he did not choose to conceal his form again. After all, the battle had already been decided. There was no need to continue hiding. Thus, he could now openly slaughter.

After killing Loong Changkong with one strike, the Shadow Dragon Human King went to hunt down the remnants of the Huang and Loong families.

Lu Fan, riding on Xing Chen, looked down at Loong Changkong’s corpse and smiled, “What did I do to the Loong Family? Go down and ask them in Hell!”
