Chapter 433, The Natural Enemy of the Poison Dragon King

Moreover, it seemed like this little one, just like Xiao Cui, did not need to fear any attacks.

Xiao Cui possessed unlimited Life Force, while the Hell Poison Dragon King simply did not have a physical form. Her body was just a mass of poison, so even if she suffered severe damage and disintegrated, she could reconstitute herself. Even the description wrote that she was immortal and indestructible.

Furthermore, attacking her would trigger her Passive Skill, Hell Poison Dragon Skin. She would directly apply all poison-related Debuffs onto her enemies.

In future battles, she could simply stand her ground and output Damage, spreading Poisonous Mist. That alone would give enemies a huge headache – attacking her would not work, but neither would leaving her alone be any better.

As for her two Active Skills, one was similar to Dragon Breath, while the other involved using the poisonous needle on her tail at close range to instantly place ten stacks of Poison Debuff on her enemies. Both Skills were quite useful.

Overall, she had enormous potential, and Lu Fan was very fond of her.

Lu Fan quickly fed all the eggshell fragments to her. After eating, she burped a few times, which was quite adorable.

Lu Fan cradled her in his arms and stroked her head. He discovered that this little one felt very different from the other Pet Dragons. Because she had no physical form and was just a mass of poison, she felt slippery and soft to the touch, like a blob of jelly.

Of course, Lu Fan also knew that in the future, probably only he could touch her. If others tried to pet her, they would likely have their hands corroded as soon as they made contact with her body.

After Lu Fan’s careful feeding, the Hell Poison Dragon King had become much more familiar with her ‘Father’ and was no longer afraid, thoroughly enjoying Lu Fan’s petting.

However, at this moment, the other Pet Dragons stretched their heads over, curiously examining the Little Sister who had just joined the Dragon Family, which startled her once more.

She gave a chirp like, “jiji” several times and suddenly burrowed into Lu Fan’s embrace, with only her pitch-black pair of eyes peering out, darting about with obvious anxiety.

Lu Fan could not help but smile wryly, thinking that she was really too timid. [Why are you as timid as a mouse?]

Of all the Pet Dragons he had, he had never encountered such a timid Dragon before.

However, it was clear that she had acknowledged him as her ‘Father’. If she had been rebellious like Xing Chen, and if he tried to ride her in the future, she might suddenly jab him with her poisonous needle. If that happens, he does not know how to comfort his depressed heart.

Just as Lu Fan was about to speak, Xiao Cui, the least threatening of all the Pet Dragons, flapped her wings and approached, sniffing vigorously at the little one in Lu Fan’s arms, as if trying to determine whether the thing in Lu Fan’s embrace was really a Dragon. After all, it was questionable why it was so timid.

As a result, when Xiao Cui approached, the little one became even more nervous, chirping “jiji…jiji” several times.

Simultaneously, through spiritual connection, Lu Fan learned that she seemed to be extremely afraid of Xiao Cui. It seemed to be a kind of instinctive fear.

Lu Fan did not quite understand why she would have such a strong reaction to Xiao Cui.

However, after examining her Attributes, he suddenly understood.

Most likely, although Xiao Cui was a Support Specialised Dragon, to Hell Poison Dragon Kings, she was their natural enemy.

Typically, a Hell Poison Dragon’s poison ignored any Debuff Resistance, and could not be Cleansed by Priest Type Skills.

However, Dragon Kings had Dragon Bloodline that gave them 50% Immunity to her poison, and in addition, Xiao Cui’s Dragon Language Magic could Cleanse the remaining 50% of her Poison Effect. With these two factors combined, her poison was basically useless against Xiao Cui.

For other Pet Dragons, her poison could still cause 50% of its Poison Effect, but it had no way to deal with a Jade Dragon King, so it was not an exaggeration to say that Xiao Cui was her natural enemy.

It was precisely for this reason that she showed such great aversion to Xiao Cui.

Understanding everything, Lu Fan asked Xiao Cui to stay further away to avoid frightening the new welcomer.

Xiao Cui went to one side, looking wronged. Her little head was unable to comprehend why she, being so harmless, could scare her Little Sister.

As for the Hell Poison Dragon King, she did not show the same fear toward the other Pet Dragons as she did toward Xiao Cui.

So, after Xiao Cui retreated some distance away, she finally dared to emerge from Lu Fan’s embrace.

Although she had eaten her eggshell, like Xiao Cui, she was not a Combat Specialised Dragon. As such, her body would not grow to be that large.

Compared to before, she had only grown slightly larger, and Lu Fan could still easily hold her in one hand.

Perhaps she had also become more familiar with her Family members around. Although she still behaved like someone with extreme social anxiety disorder, occasionally hiding in Lu Fan’s clothes or behind his back, she was not as fearful as before.

After playing with her for a while, Lu Fan knew that next, he should demonstrate his new found deep knowledge by giving her an excellent name.

Lu Fan scratched his head for a while, then finally slapped his thigh and said, “The others either make calls like ‘Ang Ang Ang’ or ‘Yiiii Yiii Ying’, but your call is ‘Jijiji’. In that case, why don’t we call you Ji Ji? Though it sounds like a mouse’s name, with your tiny size, calling you Ji Ji is quite fitting.”

“Ji Ji?” The little Hell Poison Dragon King, hiding in Lu Fan’s sleeve, poked her head out and chirped “jijiji” again, seemingly having no objection to her name.

Seeing that she was so obedient, Lu Fan smiled with satisfaction and said, “Alright then, from now on, you’ll be called Ji Ji.”

“Looking at your Skills, you probably need a lot of poison to get stronger, right? I’ll find a way to get you all kinds of poisons to enhance your strength!”

“Jiji!” Ji Ji knew Lu Fan was saying that he would make her stronger in the future, so she happily chirped again.

However, this call sounded somewhat like she was trying to appear strong despite being afraid.

Lu Fan could only helplessly hope that in future battles, Ji Ji would not drag them down, being too scared to use her Skills and instead hiding in his clothes.

Lu Fan tossed the socially anxious Ji Ji to Xiao Ye and the others, letting her Older Brothers and Sisters lead their Little Sister, so that Ji Ji would not be too scared to show her head when seeing the other Pet Dragons.

Ji Ji was quite cooperative in this regard. As long as it was not Xiao Cui, she would try to interact with them, and gradually, she would become familiar with them.

While Ji Ji was interacting with the other Pet Dragons, Lu Fan found another item in his System Sub-Space, the Explorer’s Journal.

This was something he had received along with the Dragon Egg, something he had never seen before.

After settling Ji Ji, he immediately took it out to see what this so-called Explorer’s Journal actually was.
