World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

When Evan turned his Wind Spear into Wind Blades, they ravaged the entire arm of the Lizard King.

”Arghhhh!”

The Lizard King screamed in pain, and spurt after spurt of blood came out from his arm, dyeing the floor around him green in color.

The Lizard King tried to stop the bleeding and stared at Evan with his yellow reptilian eyes, which were now filled with boundless rage.

When the Lizard King had seen Evan for the first time, he hadn’t taken him seriously, as no matter what, Evan’s level was not even 35.

It was also the reason that after their first clash, he did not attack him immediately and waited for him to stand up, wanting to show the real difference between them.

He wanted to make this audacious lowlife who dared to enter his throne room feel despair by letting him understand the difference between them.

But he never thought that despite such a difference in their levels, he would suffer such a huge loss at Evan’s hand.

He was angry at himself for not taking his opponent seriously, and he was even angrier at Evan for injuring him like this.

The Lizard King stared at Evan, who was about to attack him once again, and roared in an anger-filled voice.

”Just because I was playing with you, do you really think you can stand on equal footing against this King?”

As the Lizard King roared, an ominous feeling started to bubble up in Evan’s heart, and the next second—

”Lizard King Transformation!”

The monster shouted, and a red aura burst out from him, instantly changing his appearance.

His height increased to three meters, and green scales started to appear all around his body. Soon, his entire body was covered in mirror-like green scales, reflecting the light coming from the chandelier.

The Lizard King’s deep yellow reptilian eyes turned crimson red, his tail length reached two meters, and his hands turned into sharp claws.

The aura of the Lizard King was already strong, but after this transformation, it increased by another level, making him even more dangerous.

ROOOAR!!!

The transformed Lizard King let out a loud roar that shook the entire room, making Evan’s ears buzz.

Even before the Lizardman King used his skill, his Strength stat was already far higher than Evan’s.

And after using this skill, the difference in their Strength stats was abysmal.

Feeling the violent aura coming from the monster, Evan was sure that if he took even a single punch from his opponent, he would be seriously injured, if not dead.

Looking at the shining scales on the Lizardman King, Evan made a Wind Spear and shot it towards him.

Seeing the spear coming towards him, the Lizardman sneered and didn’t bother to dodge.

Ting!

A metallic sound echoed out in the throne room as the Wind Spear shattered right after coming in contact with the scales, not even leaving behind a scratch.

”This kind of attack won’t even scratch my scales, much less injure me,” The Lizard King said in a mocking voice. ”Let me show you the clear difference in our power.”

BOOOOOOM!

As the Lizardman King finished speaking, a crater appeared beneath his feet as he shot towards Evan like a bullet.

But as the Lizardman moved, Evan noticed that his speed was slower than before.

’Could it be...’ Evan immediately understood whatever skill the monster was using had reduced his Agility, and a sneer appeared on his face.

’It’s just a monster after all...’ He thought and, instead of moving away, he also shot towards the Lizard King.

Seeing Evan coming towards him, the Lizard King’s eyes flashed with surprise, but soon, surprise turned into killing intent as he felt Evan still wasn’t taking him seriously.

’This fool, even after knowing he can’t injure me is coming close to me instead of backing away. Does he really think he will be able to pass through the defense of my scales with his little strength?’

The Lizard King’s claw tore through the air, slashing towards Evan. Even before the claw reached him, Evan felt a stinging pain on his face, indicating just how strong the Lizard King’s current Strength stat was.

Evan paid close attention to the claw, and just as it got closer to him, using his superior Agility, he dodged it by a hair’s breadth.

After dodging the attack, Evan punched at the stomach of the Lizard King, which was also covered in scales.

The Lizard King wasn’t able to dodge the punch because of his earlier attack, but he wasn’t worried because he had full confidence in his defense.

However, his face suddenly changed as a mountain-like pressure engulfed the surroundings, and a golden aura appeared around Evan’s fist.

”You—” The Lizard King tried to dodge the punch, but it was already too late.

Evan’s fist, which was covered in the green-golden aura of Sky Fall and Wind Aura, landed at the center of the Lizard King’s stomach.

BOOM!

An explosion more terrifying than before happened when Evan’s fist landed on the scales of the Lizard King.

But Evan did not stop just after one punch.

Using his terrifying Agility, before the impact sent the Lizard King away, his fist turned into a golden-green blur and landed at the same spot three more times.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

”Argugh!” The Lizard King spat out a mouthful of blood, mixed with some organs, before he was blasted away.

Bang!

He crashed nearly thirty meters away and rolled on the ground like a rag doll, the scales around his stomach completely shattered.

*Cough

The Lizard King coughed out another mouthful of blood with a look of disbelief as he felt a churning pain throughout his body.

He stared at the green blood on the ground before a strange feeling filled his heart.

Evan was about to continue with his attack, but suddenly—

”Heh Hahaha...”

A loud laughter suddenly echoed throughout the throne room as the Lizardman King burst into laughter.

What stunned Evan even more was that even after taking four Sky Fall punches one after another, the Lizardman King’s aura did not drop a single bit and was the same as before, indicating he wasn’t seriously injured at all.

Evan frowned when he saw this as he noticed a savage smile had appeared on the Lizardman’s demonic face at some point, and he was staring at him with a grin.

”It’s been so long since I felt my blood boiling like this...” The Lizardman King spoke, and a crimson aura began to appear around him.

Evan’s expression suddenly changed because he felt a fatal threat from the Lizard King, whose aura became extremely violent.

The Lizardman King grinned when he saw Evan’s expression and opened his mouth.

”Berserk!”
