World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

The guards, who had been paying attention to Evan were stunned, and their jaws nearly dropped to the ground when they saw him punching the ape.

Watching a five-meter-tall ape, which looked like it could crush Evan with a single hand stagger backward and fall to the ground after taking just a single punch was truly shocking for them.

Even the rhino, which was fighting against the five guards stopped attacking and looked toward its companion in shock.

Although the ape wasn’t dead, it was clear from that single punch that it wouldn’t be able to handle Evan alone.

”Are you kidding me? With just a single punch?” The guard holding the hammer spoke in a trembling voice.

”Maybe he just used some kind of Skill that tremendously enhances his Strength stat,” The guard captain spoke in a low voice, though his voice was filled with uncertainty.

Evan was also a little surprised after seeing this scene.

But upon remembering that his Strength stat was already over three hundred points, he felt it was natural outcome.

What was the concept of three hundred points of Strength?

A normal adult would only have around ten stat points in their peak condition if they didn’t walk the path of evolution.

And now, Evan possessed thirty times the strength of such a person.

More importantly, he could control this strength perfectly and bring out its full potential.

Looking at the ape, which appeared as if it was seeing stars, Evan’s lips couldn’t help but curl upward.

However, from his past battles, he had learned that he should never let down his guard until his enemy was completely defeated, so he remained cautious.

ROAR!

And indeed, just a moment later, the ape suddenly opened its eyes wide and let out a furious roar.

The temperature of the surrounding area instantly began to rise, and Evan felt a slight tremor coming from the ground.

Noticing the rise in temperature and the abnormal movement of the ground, Evan immediately moved away from the place where he was standing.

And the moment he moved away—

BOOM!

A pillar of fire suddenly erupted from the ground where he had been standing just a moment ago.

The ground around the pillar of fire instantly began to melt, and the temperature of the surrounding area shot upward.

Evan looked at the pillar of flames and felt hot air currents brushing against his face.

At the same time, he also noticed that as the surrounding temperature increased, the ape’s aura rose slightly as well, indicating that its strength had increased due to the rise in the surrounding temperature.

Evan had just noticed the increase in the ape’s aura when he soon noticed something else.

Along with the rise in the ape’s aura, his own aura also rose slightly, and his eyes widened.

’Could it be...’ He suddenly remembered one of the perks of his Class.

[You will receive a 20% boost in your power when fighting in an area where elements are more active.]

Currently, because of the Skill the ape had used, the Fire Elements in the surrounding area had become very active.

As a result, Evan’s own strength had also increased.

Of course, since the concentration of Fire Elements wasn’t particularly high, Evan was only receiving around a five percent boost instead of the full twenty percent.

However, Evan was already overwhelmingly powerful and this five percent increase in his strength was enough to make his enemies despair.

Evan couldn’t help but give the roaring ape a strange look.

He could see a hint of arrogance on its face after its strength increased slightly.

But if this guy knew that it wasn’t the only one benefiting from the increased activity of the Fire Elements, who knew if it would faint from anger?

Evan glanced toward the guards, and to his surprise, he saw that the rhino was actually managing to hold its ground against all five Rank One guards.

With the help of its Skill, it had created an earth armor around its body.

Combined with its naturally high defense, the guards couldn’t injure it easily.

Although they couldn’t injure it, the five guards weren’t easy opponents either.

They were all able to dodge the rhino’s attacks while continuously trying to wear down its armor.

The guards standing on the watchtowers were also observing the battle carefully, ready to provide support to Evan or the other five guards at any moment.

ROAR!

The roar of the ape pulled Evan’s attention back toward it and seeing that it was about to charge toward him, Evan’s eyes narrowed.

From his earlier punch, he had already confirmed that even by simply using his overwhelming stats, he could fight against Magical Beasts of the same level.

And that was despite the fact that most Magical Beasts possessed bodies far stronger than humans.

’Since I have already tried raw power, let’s see how high I can bring this raw power using a Skill...’

As he thought about this, a faint smile of anticipation appeared on his face.

The ape completely failed to notice that smile and after beating its chest with its hands and letting out an enraged roar, it charged toward Evan.

Rumble!

Evan looked at the charging ape, whose every step made the surrounding ground tremble, and clenched his fist.

The next instant—

Woosh!

A wind aura appeared around his legs, and his figure completely disappeared from the ape’s sight.

The charging ape suddenly paused because it could no longer see Evan.

But suddenly, it felt a chill run down its spine, and an impending sense of doom engulfed it.

”Try your best to survive, big guy...” A voice suddenly echoed beside its ear.

The ape immediately turned its head, only to see Evan appearing right in front of its face before it could even realize what had happened.

Looking at the faint smile on Evan’s face, the ape’s instincts screamed in danger, and it immediately wanted to run away.

But before it could—

”Sky Fall!”

A faint voice echoed through the surroundings and in an instant, a terrifying pressure engulfed everything nearby.

When Evan had used Sky Fall inside the dungeon, his body had been extremely weak.

Moreover, he hadn’t even used Mana at that time.

But now, everything was different.

He was currently in his peak condition.

Not to mention, he had advanced to Rank One, and his strength was far higher than before.

The moment Evan activated Sky Fall, an overwhelming power erupted from his fist, causing the surrounding area to shake.

The guards and the rhino, who were fighting some distance away, suddenly felt an immense pressure and immediately looked toward the source of the sudden pressure.

What they saw was Evan, whose fist was surrounded by a golden aura as he punched toward the horrified ape.

The minds of the guards and the rhino shook upon feeling the terrifying pressure coming from his fist, and all of them subconsciously took a step back in disbelief.

Evan himself could also feel an unbelievable amount of power gathering inside his fist and for a moment, even he found it difficult to control such immense power.

But he didn’t stop using the Skill.

By the time the ape turned to look at him, his punch was already right in front of its face.

Boundless fear filled the ape’s blood-red eyes as it watched the incoming fist in horror.

It tried to move its body, but the terrifying pressure had simply paralyzed it, making it unable to do anything.

The fist grew bigger and bigger in its horrified eyes and soon, it touched its face.

The moment Evan’s fist came into contact with the ape’s face, it seemed as if time itself had stopped.

However, this situation didn’t last long because the next second—

BOOOOOOM!

A deafening explosion echoed across the surroundings.

In front of everyone’s horrified eyes, the head of the five-meter-tall ape exploded like a watermelon as blood and flesh splashed in every direction.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Even after destroying the ape’s head, the force of Evan’s punch didn’t stop and the remaining force struck the ground behind the ape, creating a large ravine that stretched for over ten meters.

Thump!

A heavy thumping sound echoed as the tall ape’s headless body fell to the ground.
