Warhammer Divine Throne

”Mobilize the army, prepare for war. I cannot command the Kingdom’s army, that is the duty of the King or Her Highness Mogiana, but we must do our own part.” Laine stood up and began to issue orders.

”First, immediately dispatch more scout cavalry to reconnoiter near Musillon. Report any Vampire movement immediately.”

”Yes!” Ranger Knight Lops and Olivier stood up to receive the order.

”Second, accelerate war preparations. As soon as the Winter Festival ends, gather all the troops and intensify training.”

”Understood!” Those responsible for training, Hex and Estelle, stood up.

”Third, we need to establish a defense system facing Charon Forest to ensure the security of our territory.”

Tax Officer Gaspardon and Steward Kasenberg indicated their understanding.

”Finally, regarding Undead Magic, I believe Miss Veronica and Miss Teresa would be willing to provide me with answers in this regard, so let everyone perform their duties and prepare to face the war!”

”Yes, my Baron!”

......

At the same time, in the Prime Material World, orbit of the Holy Terra Planet.

A gigantic Imperial Guard Fleet was on its way back.

Inside the massive Emperor-class Battleship, Mechanical Divine Servants and countless guards kept coming in and out. The place was bustling, and among them, Space Marines from the Dark Angels Chapter, Imperial Fist Chapter, and Ultimate Warrior Chapter were gathering in large numbers in Cambridge, celebrating another victory. The invincible Master of Humans led his enormous loyal troops in a nearly flawless boarding assault. The operation was so perfect that the Space Marines appeared before the panicked Chaos Space Marines with hardly any effort.

A massacre in the name of loyalty.

However, compared to the celebrating Dark Angels and Ultimate Warriors, the yellow-clad Imperial Fist Marines were more silent, watching the command center with expectant eyes.

The Emperor has returned. Can our Primarch be far behind?

Within the command center of the ship, a massive black device securely sealed a Fallen Primarch. Apart from the purple turbid glow, nothing could be seen, only continuous screams and the Mechanical God Cult incessantly adjusting the equipment echoed around.

In a corner of the command center, the Human Emperor stood, holding an oversized steak cooked by the Imperial Fist Alchemist, chewing the food without any expression.

The Primarch of the Thirteenth Legion, Roboute Kiliman, was repairing his power armor and healing his wounds with the help of an Alchemist. From his gritted expression and lingering fear, it was clear he had just been through a tough battle. Meanwhile, the Primarch of the First Legion, Leon El Johnson maintained a stern look, a fine scar marred his face. The Emperor had just helped rid him of toxins, but he still felt some pain.

Unexpectedly, Johnson was the first to speak, the Lion King coolly said: ”This operation went smoother than expected. The invitation signal Magnus sent didn’t make Fugen associate that he had been purified; that’s how we managed to corner him.”

”It turns out Magnus’s return had an immediate effect. With him on the Golden Throne, Father can operate freely. His invitation signal to other Demon Primarchs to set up Kiliman was what lured Fugen... If only Motarian had appeared, the encirclement we laid would have been enough to capture both of them!” Kiliman slapped his thigh in regret that Motarian didn’t fall for their trap.

”Our action to capture the Fallen Primarchs has already alerted the Evil God, Johnson, Kiliman.” The Emperor frowned, his eyes radiating golden light, showing only cold and seriousness: ”Nurgle has already sensed my intention, ordering Motarian to return immediately to the Demon World of the Eye of Fear, forbidding him from stepping out without permission.”

”Future operations will only get tougher, but we never fear.” The new Imperial Regent, Roboute Kiliman stated: ”Everything is moving towards a better direction, it’s just... Father, isn’t tricking Magnus like this a bit... excessive?”

”Look at what Magnus has done? Kiliman, you dare say it’s excessive? The consequences of Magnus’s actions are enough for him to die ten thousand times!” Johnson shouted in anger.

”I understand...” Kiliman said painfully. Rationally, he knew that doing this to Magnus was already quite merciful, but emotionally, the Primarch of the Ultimate Warrior felt it was somewhat excessive. The painstakingly purified Primarch of the Thousand Sons was brought back to Holy Terra and then firmly placed on the Golden Throne by the Emperor, completely losing his freedom.

”I have already been as kind as possible to Magnus.” The Emperor stated coldly: ”For now, we need him on the Golden Throne.”

This point was undisputed; both Kiliman and Johnson nodded.

After a series of battles, Roboute Kiliman finally allowed himself some relaxation. He exhaled softly, the recent bloody battle vivid in his memory. Through intense boarding combat, the Emperor, Johnson, and Kiliman led elite troops directly onto the Chaos Battleship ”Pride of the Emperor”.

This was once the flagship of the Third Legion, the Emperor’s Son, and during the Horus Heresy, the Third Legion also betrayed the Emperor, now worshiping the Evil God Slaanesh, becoming its henchmen.

Rushing over with great enthusiasm, the Ascended Demon Primarch, Fugen, expecting to ’outwit Kiliman’ alongside Magnus, was horrified to find himself trapped by the Emperor and two Primarchs. Despite fierce resistance, he was gravely injured and captured, then sealed in the device.

Before his demise, Fugen cursed Magnus for the erroneous communication.

”Father, I’m concerned about the reaction of the Iron Hand Warband if Fugen returns.” Kiliman suddenly remembered an awkward fact, the Primarch of the Steel Hand, Ferrus, was killed by the Fallen Fugen, and he himself was gravely injured by Fugen, lying in the static force field for ten thousand years.

”The entire Steel Hand’s value is not equal to one Fugen, Ferrus is already dead.” The Emperor ate heartily, outside, an Imperial Fist Alchemist brought more food: ”I will pacify the Steel Hand, you needn’t worry.”

Kiliman took a bite of the food, his face scrunched up; did the Imperial Fist Alchemist roast it with a flamethrower? It’s burnt and salty!

At this time, Cato Sicarius, the second company commander of the Ultimate Warrior, carrying a newspaper, walked in: ”My Majesty, this is the newspaper you requested, the new issue of the ’Legion Banner’.”

The Emperor reached out for the newspaper, glanced over it briefly, then suddenly read aloud.

”Congratulations, soldiers! Following the return, I bring you great news! Because of this great victory, your company will receive additional benefits!”

”You will be granted extra privileges due to this victory! Your company will receive additional perks! You will feel at home here!”

”We can assure you, the next war will be upon us soon, and your company is assigned as the vanguard. Good luck to you all!”

”A daily thought: If you lose and are thwarted, it is a disgrace to the Emperor.”

”My efforts have failed; that scoundrel Lorgar’s fabricated works have somehow become your Holy Scripture.” The Emperor remarked with an unexpectedly expressionless look.

”The truth is, it’s that lie which has sustained your empire until today.” Kiliman replied, filled with pain.

”...Let’s not discuss this now, I remember the Military Affairs Department provided supplies for the front lines, so how did it all become nothing but corpse starch?” The Emperor handed the newspaper to Kiliman, his expression unchanged.

”That’s why I purged the Terra Supreme Council, father.”

”If necessary, I think you might cleanse it again.”
