Warhammer Divine Throne

PS. Let’s wish him a happy birthday.

Is this even possible? Laine opened his mouth for a long time, unable to say anything.

The Horned Eagle Beast is the dream mount of countless lords, just like the Griffin of the Empire. The Horned Eagle Beast is the ultimate mount desired by Brittania lords.

He’s still riding a pure-blooded Elf Warhorse, and Angerong is already riding a Horned Eagle Beast?

The knights under his command ride Horned Eagle Beasts while the lord is still on a warhorse?

Laine’s face was indescribably uncomfortable, and he could only smile wryly and say, ”Brother, your progress is a bit ahead.”

”Is it?” Angerong scratched his head, sensing Laine’s surprise, which satisfied him.

On the contrary, Mogiana looked at Angerong with extremely cautious eyes.

It’s a sense of danger, an absolute sense of danger. This terrifying aura almost suffocated the Lake God Witch, and even after laying down her weapons, Mogiana’s face still bore deep caution.

”I named this Horned Eagle Beast Nukeria, to commemorate my deceased brothers and sisters.” Angerong lightly patted Laine’s shoulder: ”Finally back, you’ve worked hard, I won’t say much more, see you at the usual place tomorrow.”

Laine nodded. The usual place referred to Angerong’s secret hideout established within the Charon Forest, with the help of the Imperial Guard, in the northern part of Baron Gene’s Domain.

After exchanging greetings with his brother, Angerong indicated he was going hunting, patted Laine’s shoulder, and galloped away on the Horned Eagle Beast with indescribable elegance.

Laine and Mogiana continued onward. The Lake God Witch hesitated for a moment, but still asked Laine: ”I’ve heard that your brother came here to seek refuge after committing an offense, but judging by his strength… what exactly did he do that made the lords decide to punish him?”

Laine smiled slightly, interpreting Mogiana’s underlying meaning that Angerong’s strength seemed unfathomable even to the Lake God Witch. How could the lords possibly bear or dare to punish a warrior at least at the Holy Sanctuary Peak?

”Mistakes can have many meanings and many levels; there are some levels of mistakes for which even my brother must be punished.” Laine shook his head, speaking profoundly: ”Even deities must be punished for their mistakes, my highness.”

Mogiana, seeing this, remained silent.

From a distance, the changes in Gene Town were astonishing; the town’s walls had completely transformed into towering stone walls, half of the low wooden houses inside the town had evolved into at least two or three-story residences, and the other half were being expanded. The dense flow of people clogged the streets, with carriages going in and out, and the town had even developed a dedicated commercial district. A row of new shops was opening, and Laine could see many peasants waiting at street corners, evidently awaiting work.

Mogiana’s appearance prompted cheers from the townsfolk, with many peasants spontaneously kneeling and loudly praising the Lake Fairy and Lake God Witch’s names. Mogiana, as a matter of routine, bestowed blessings upon the gathered town folk, ushering in a louder chorus of praise.

There were already numerous Wood Elves and Dwarves visible on the streets, everything indicated that something in this Baron’s Domain was attracting them.

After dispersing the onlookers, Laine and Mogiana walked up the hillside. Kasenberg opened the doors for the Baron, and the bald steward bowed deeply: ”Oh, my Baron, you’ve finally returned, and most esteemed Her Highness the Lake God Witch, welcome to Baron Gene’s Domain.”

”This is not my first time here.” Mogiana dismounted from the Unicorn, floating directly in the air and flying toward the Prayer Room on the third floor: ”I’ll just rest inside; bring the hot water and dinner to me.”

”Understood,” Laine nodded, handing the reins to the sergeant: ”Kasenberg, I require a sumptuous dinner.”

”Got it, my Baron, I’ll arrange it immediately.” The steward bowed deeply.

”Master, you’re back?” Ollica the Dark Elf appeared, dressed in a standard black and white maid outfit, with waist-length, silky smooth black hair.

”Yes, I’m back.” Laine embraced his dark elf maid and lightly kissed her lips: ”Where’s Veronica?”

”Miss Veronica is supervising the construction of her Wizard Tower; she’ll be back in the evening.” Ollica leaned on Laine’s body affectionately: ”I’ll arrange to boil some water.”

”Mm, remember to boil more, Her Highness Mogiana also needs a tub.” Laine instructed.

”Alright.”

The servants quickly prepared a tub of hot water. Laine relaxed in it comfortably; as the cornerstone of the domain, the Baron’s return brought great joy to everyone in the Baron Castle. A Holy Grail Knight Lord’s influence on the domain was multifaceted, with constant rumors that the Lord was a person blessed by the deities. Hunters in the Charon Forest and peasants who went to gather wood often received protection and aid from some towering Golden Armored Giants.

Ollica assisted Laine with his bath, simultaneously reporting changes in the domain over the period since he left.

The population of Baron Gene’s Domain has recently expanded to over fourteen thousand people.

”Where did so many people come from?” Laine inquired casually while soaking in the hot water, thick fog from the hot bath enveloping the three-floor master bedroom.

”They’re refugee peasants from Borelion Duchy and Kakasong Duchy.” the dark elf said softly: ”Borelion Duchy has been engaged in conflict with Estalia continuously. Many peasants found life untenable and escaped here. Due to the ongoing war, it becomes difficult for duchy nobility to ascertain whether peasants have died, surrendered, or fled. So, Mr. Kasenberg seized the opportunity to accommodate plenty of quality populous.”
