Warhammer Divine Throne

”It’s alright, I have a way to handle this.” Laine said nonchalantly, it seemed the Baron was in no hurry at all.

”Laine, what will you do?” Surya continued to ask, the female knight was very concerned about Laine, and there was even a hint of urgency in her voice: ”You are indeed the Lady’s Divine Chosen Champion, but the King’s orders are also impeccable...”

”This issue is not difficult at all, Surya, when the King’s Envoy arrives this afternoon, accompany me to meet him, then you’ll know what I’m going to do.” Laine nodded confidently, ending the topic.

In the afternoon, the Kingdom’s envoy arrived, and the Baron, along with all his subordinates, received the King’s Order in the castle hall.

The envoy who came to announce the King’s Order was recognized by Laine, he was Count Bonova De Esmond, the father of the late Marquis Angxi in the Knightly War.

The King’s Envoy raised his chin, snorting impatiently through his nose, he said: ”Baron Gene Laine Macado? Come out to receive the King’s appointment!”

Laine remained silent, he bowed his head, walked up to Bonova, and knelt on one knee, indicating he was listening.

”Now ordering Baron Gene, Laine Macado to immediately cease trade activities with the Wood Elf, immediately halt the operation of the Dwarf Blacksmith Workshop, expel these Dwarf refugees, immediately stop the operation of the hospital, it will be taken over by the King’s Envoy, immediately cease exercising the powers of a Baron, and set off for the capital to await further instructions!”

”Additionally, an important order, the King intends to form an Expeditionary Army to the Nikohara Desert, scheduled to depart on the fifth of next month, with Laine Macado appointed as the General of the Expeditionary Army, please be ready to depart immediately!”

Two consecutive King’s Orders were issued, each more urgent than the last, the King commanded Laine to set off immediately.

After reading the two King’s Orders, Count Bonova looked at Laine with hatred, to this day, he still believed his son’s death was caused by Laine, so he deliberately dragged his voice long and then shouted furiously: ”Laine! Are you not going to accept the King’s orders!”

”I will not accept the King’s orders, my Count.” Laine didn’t even bother with the two scrolls of parchment, the Baron directly reached out and opened the scrolls, letting them fall to the ground.

The atmosphere in the castle hall froze, whether it was Laine’s subordinates or the female knight Surya who came to watch, all looked unbelievably at Laine’s actions.

”What are you doing?!” Bonova pointed at Laine’s nose, he roared incredulously at the Baron: ”Do you know what you’re doing? This is tantamount to rebellion! Even if you are the Lady’s Champion, you can’t do this, are you trying to revolt?”

”Now, immediately, pick up the King’s orders and beg me, then I can pretend this did not happen.” Bonova sneered several times: ”If you don’t want to be declared a traitor, do it quickly, my Baron, your time is running out.”

Laine also laughed, on the contrary, he stood up: ”I will not do it, because someone disagrees.”

”Someone disagrees? Who? Who disagrees?” Bonova sneered repeatedly, the King’s envoy and Baron Gene confronting each other: ”This is Brittania, who can oppose the King?”

At this moment, a cold female voice came from the back of the castle hall, a figure with endless divine majesty gracefully emerged from within.

”I disagree!”
