Chapter 444: Chapter 189, Blood of the Holy Grail_2

He began to recall those distant years, back then he didn’t rely on blood to survive.

However, the Blood Knight named Richter had experienced too much in endless years, he quickly calmed down, the Blood Knight laughed, showing a mouth full of yellow teeth: ”Those are things of the past, Holy Grail Knight, these won’t sway me, I am here for the Holy Grail Knight.”

After speaking, the Blood Knight took out a glove and tossed it in front of Laine: ”Let us begin.”

”Laine!” Veronica saw Laine appear and wanted to assist him, Laine reached out to stop her: ”This is a battle between knights, Veronica, just observe.”

”You truly are a Holy Grail Knight, I promise, after I defeat you I won’t trouble this witch.” The Blood Knight said.

”Hah, don’t think by saying this I will let you off.” With that, Laine began to gallop: ”For the Lady, for Brittania, receive the judgment of the Holy Grail Knight! You filthy scoundrel!”

”Forward!” The Blood Knight also pulled up the reins.

The Pure-blooded Elf Warhorse Grapes charged towards the Blood Knight like a whirlwind, seemingly not fearing the green flames spewed by the nightmare, the Blood Knight raised his cavalry lance high, determined to defeat the Holy Grail Knight.

The bright moonlight illuminated the path forward, facing the Blood Knight’s violent and powerful attack, Laine wielded the hammer in both hands, the warhammer shone with red flames and smashed hard onto the Blood Knight’s shoulder.

The Blood Knight was not to be outdone, his long spear had blood-red runes flickering with filthy light, the sharp spear tip directly pierced towards Laine’s chest, containing the might to shake the earth and mountains.

”Boom!” As both knights clashed, a blindingly bright light appeared instantly, Veronica standing aside had to cover her eyes with her hands.

The warhorses passed by each other, sounds of the spear shattering and the warhammer smashing were heard simultaneously.

Amidst the thick dust, Laine’s expression was stern, a bright red mark was left on his shoulder, a scratch appeared at the shoulder armor of the Masterwork Psychic Power Armor.

The Spiritual Shield was broken with one strike by the Blood Knight.

On the other side, the Blood Knight’s Dragon Wing Helmet, one side of the metal dragon wings was shattered by Laine’s warhammer.

”Again!” The Blood Knight’s face showed twisted and neurotic excitement, he laughed heartily: ”This is it, this is what I want, a true knight duel! Again! Holy Grail Knight!”

”For the Lady!” Laine raised the warhammer again, he immediately spurred his horse, taking advantage of the Blood Knight not having retrieved his cavalry lance, he quickly seized this opportunity to charge towards the Blood Knight.

The Blood Knight’s eyes were fierce, he instinctively tried to fetch the cavalry lance behind him, but his extremely rich battle experience quickly made him realize there wasn’t enough time, so he immediately raised his heraldic shield engraved with a blood-red evil dragon.

The warhammer burning with red flames struck heavily on the shield, its force so great it made the Blood Knight scream and retreat.

After this strike, Laine turned his horse, the face of the Holy Grail Knight Commander was also filled with seriousness, his full force strike was blocked by the Blood Knight, he didn’t know what the shield of the Blood Knight was, but its sturdiness exceeded his imagination.

”You’re strong, Holy Grail Knight, I need such a powerful Holy Grail Knight to be my stepping stone for advancement.” The Blood Knight took out another cavalry lance from behind him, his face calm and confident: ”Again!”

And so the two knights clashed once more.

The Blood Knight and the Holy Grail Knight were both the strongest knights of the Old World, their duel was destined to become a poignant legend, alas it was only witnessed by a lone Jialan Witch in the pitch-black moonlit night.

After more than a dozen rounds of duels, each round reflected the supreme skills and honor of knights.

In high-speed advance, Laine squinted his eyes, bent down, dodging the spear tip carrying the red Blood Dragon Power, then immediately flipped from horseback, the flaming warhammer struck the Blood Knight’s abdomen, catching him off guard, he was hit squarely in the chest, he flipped off the horse, the biting cold wind and the scorching warhammer head truly struck at the Blood Knight’s prestige, he fell off his horse and rolled on the forest ground, losing his composure.

”Ahhhh!” The Blood Knight shouted angrily, he drew a blood-red longsword from his waist and pointed at Laine.

Laine’s face was only cold, yet he did not pursue the victory, instead dismounted: ”Prepare to die, demon.”

”Holy Grail Knight, you are strong, I admit, I lost in mounted combat, I promise, I will leave this forest, you have saved this land and the peasants on it, your honor remains intact.” The Blood Knight placed his left hand on his chest first, giving Laine a knight’s salute, solemnly making his promise: ”But the battle between us will not end, only one of us can remain!”

”Indeed!” Laine also threw down the warhammer, his Masterwork Power Armor still glinted like new, the Holy Grail Knight reached out to grasp his own Goddess of Revenge.

The Holy Sword rang out, the Goddess of Revenge emitting white flames and pale blue light unsheathed in the night.

The Blood Knight could feel the terrible might press down like rolling thunder from the blade, he immediately stood up, took his longsword and attacked Laine’s helmet-less head from behind, the longsword enveloped in blood-red power slashed at a cunning angle, only to miss its mark.
