Warhammer Divine Throne

Laine and Ollica exchanged a glance, finding it a bit strange for a Demon Hunter to seek him out, but if he was merely acting as a messenger or coming to take on a task, it wasn’t so unusual.

”Master, you should go take a look. I’m fine here,” the Dark Elf said weakly. She had just lost her maidenhood last night, and now it was difficult for her to move. What’s more, once Laine started, he did not stop, leaving Ollica so drained that she didn’t want to move at all.

”Tell that Demon Hunter to wait briefly; I’ll see him in a moment!” Laine called out toward the door.

”Understood, my Baron.” Casvan bowed out and left.

Laine gently embraced the shy Dark Elf, blowing into the golden ringed sharp ears. ”Just rest well here today; there’s nothing you need to do.”

”Master~” Ollica leaned on his shoulder, her face flushed. Contrary to what one might expect, she was extremely shy, completely guided by Laine. Fortunately, her racial gift made it barely possible for Laine to feel satisfied.

”I’ll go out first to see what’s happening and come back to accompany you later.” Laine gently patted Ollica’s shoulder and helped her lie down.

”Master, wait.” The Dark Elf lifted her head and gently kissed Laine on the lips.

Laine embraced her again.

After a two-minute long kiss, the Baron nodded, laid her down, and then left the master chamber.

After seeing Laine leave, Ollica shyly pulled the quilt to cover herself, maintaining that state for quite a while before recovering from her shyness.

She recalled the Lake Fairy’s warning: Serve my Champion as a maid, or your fate will be destruction.

Her body tingled and felt limp, as if her bones were removed. This feeling was irresistible to Ollica. However, the Dark Elf still attempted to mobilize the mana within herself.

Indeed! The soul that seemed dead could finally sense the Magic Wind again. Ollica concentrated all the magic power ”borrowed” from Laine, uttering ancient incantations. The power of Dark Magic finally emerged.

”Staff of Eros, heed my command.”

Through her efforts, a long magic staff, dark blue and embedded with a blood-red ruby, appeared before Ollica. Summoning the staff had depleted most of the Dark Elf’s mana.

Just when Ollica reached out to grasp the staff, it suddenly became unstable.

”Not good!” Ollica hurriedly grabbed the staff, then gathered all her remaining mana to swiftly carve a spiraling purple curse seal on her abdomen. The process seemed extremely painful; at least while engraving, the Dark Elf’s forehead was covered in sweat, nearly biting her lip.

Fortunately, the seal was completed smoothly, and the staff vanished into the air. Ollica slumped down as if exhausted, gently caressing the seal on her abdomen with a tired face, letting out a sigh of satisfaction.

”With this seal, I will belong only to the Master.”

”Caladrean, your hatred, I will repay tenfold!”

......

Demon Hunter Abel was waiting in the Baron’s castle.

Although he appeared to be in his thirties, those familiar with him knew that this Demon Hunter was in fact no longer young. His real age was nearing sixty. A year ago, due to certain fortuitous encounters, Abel finally ascended to the Legendary Tier, but becoming a Demon Hunting Master was not so simple. His unstable state required more experience to prove himself as a true Demon Hunting Master.

Thus, he left the Empire and traveled to Brittania. Meanwhile, he sought a beautiful witch named Jelena. They once had a beautiful encounter, but due to the unique nature of their jobs, they ultimately parted ways. A witch told him that Jelena had gone to the southern part of Brittania to open a shop.

This might have been the main reason for his journey to Brittania.

The Empire and Brittania always maintained a rather delicate alliance. When faced with any alien races or even alien entities, the two human nations were undoubtedly staunch allies. However, internal trade friction and various disputes between the two countries never ceased. Especially recently, the relationship between Duke Casvan of Paragon and the Empire has gradually deteriorated. The stubborn Duke Casvan believed that the Imperial people should pay more tariffs, while the Empire considered Casvan’s demands too unreasonable.

Under the leadership of the new Emperor Carl Franz, the Imperial court was unprecedentedly resolute.

This forced the Demon Hunter to choose a sea route. He first arrived at Marinburg, then took a ship to the Boldro Duchy. The costly sea fare nearly drained him of his last Gold Coin, forcing him to stay in the Boldro Duchy and complete several bounty tasks in succession. This earned him the favor of Duke Boldro Bodrick, who, upon returning to his territory, met with him and handed him a letter to forward to Baron Gene, Laine Macado.

Demon Hunters are traditionally not wealthy. Even for a Demon Hunting Master, an annual income rarely reached a hundred Gold Coins. Nobles were wary and cautious of Demon Hunters, fearing they would uncover their unsavory deeds. Commoners feared Demon Hunters, worried that their villages would be reduced to ashes if someone among them were corrupted.
